Pool City

Haven't dealt with Pool City directly but as the neighbor of a Pool City pool customer holy smokes. Have been blocked from leaving my house several times, today they ran over and destroyed cones that we had in the street while we do some yard work on our own property. Don't even mention the cigarette butts we have found, and our two year old has found.

Pretty inconsiderate. We didn't ask for a pool company to be parked out front of our house for weeks on end and you should keep that in mind while working on your jobs. Plus side I guess the pool does look nice.

Everyone here is great. They don't try to make you spend cash on unnecessary things. They will help you with your needs and recommend what's needed, even if it means making no money. Very knowledgeable and honest.

Pool City built me my dream pool. Sergio, Jennifer and Juan were wonderful to deal with and answered all my questions (and yes I had many). Could not be happier with the finished product, highly recommended, great service and quality. Thank You for turning my backyard into an oasis for my family!

Sergio installed our pool and I must say we were happy from start to finish. He exceeded our expectations. The design and layout was perfect for our back yard. We had trouble with the township permits and Jennifer took care of any problem we had which expedited the permit approvals. We love our new pool and back yard. Thank you Pool City!

Horrible, no communication. They lie about items being on back order. The never came and inspected pool once it's completed. I have basically begged for them to come and fix some liner issues, they fixed one area, will not answer my emails. They destroyed my pavers. Only gave us an orientation and maintenance kit after repeatedly emailing requesting such.

Now they will not close our pool, they are basically holding our pool cover and closing hostage over $125 dollars, when I have email proof it was paid in full months ago! they sent a new bill that states new contract with a balance due of $125. I have contacted an attorney over this company. Do not use them! I have proof of everything and I guess will be settling this with the courts, as my pool is still opened.

Very friendly and informative staff definitely can tell that they care about their customers. As they go above and beyond the typical chain store to help educate as opposed to just selling you product. One thing to keep in mind though which was surprising is that they charge $10 for pool testing. Other than that they have pretty much all of your needs for getting your pool or spa and running along with educated staff that can help you troubleshoot.

The owner of this company is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. I paid for my pool to be open and serviced for the summer season and while he cashed my check he did not complete the service. I tried calling the store several times and there was no answer. I then went to the store to be told he would check on things two days later and told if I did not leave he would call the cops.

I have a party at my home and now no one can use the pool which looks like a complete swap. He would not issue me a refund nor did he state he would resolve the issue. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Would recommend Sergio and Pool City in Toms River, N J very highly. We contracted with him to install a built in pool last fall. He started earlier than expected and this has been one of the best experiences we have had with a contractor. Customer service is outstanding and quality of work is even better with no surprise costs. We look forward to continuing our relationship via his pool maintenance services. No Regrets!

I will be pursing legal advice on there service & photos to come of what my Pool looks like after a closing from Pool City. This is second home, they took advantage and have no even responded to my complaint. We will see what happens when I go to the BBB, seek counsel & put a billboard on Route 37 imaging there service results. I recommend to "NEVER" use Pool city services. NEVER & I CAN"T CHOOSE ZERO STARS!

Pool was installed. Last year was the first year of use. They closed the pool in the fall. I prepaid to have it opened this year. When the cover came off the pool was an algae filled slimy mess. Unfortunately I was not home. Someone informed my wife as to what it looked like. See called the office and was told Put some Algaecide in it. No cleaning what so ever. This company does not care. If they would have closed it correctly last year we should not have had this problem. Paid $250 for what! Never again.

They had most of the regular pool stuff you would need. I got some pool lubricant, a jet nozzle, and a pool bulb. Didn't carry spa jets, but most pool places doesn't seem to neither. They had a young girl in her low teens at the register, probably a family member. Teaching her the ropes and how to be her own business person. Way to go!

We have had the best experience with Pool City and Sergio! We put our pool in in the fall, he walked us through everything. Our pool was put in and closed with only the concrete to be finished in the Spring. Anytime I had a question I could email Sergio or Jen and 90% of the time Sergio would show up at our house to resolve whatever worry we had. He really made us feel like his only client.

Fast forward to Spring our pool was opened and Sergio's prices for concrete were more than reasonable. We were able to afford more than we had originally planned. I cannot say enough how stress-free this was. Sergio showed up EVERYTIME the next phase of the pool was to be complete. He never let something happen without coming to make sure it was done right. We are in Bayville if anyone wants to come check out our pool when they are considering Pool City.

Incorrect pool opening, failure to properly turn on pool system.never communicated nor sent a detailed scope of work. Charged my credit card for services not rendered without my authorization. Back office creates false documentation without my signature or consent. Owner does not take responsibility. See yelp reviews which reinforce this poor institutions lack of integrity and service. Filed a dispute with American Express, will also contact BBB and explore a legal remedy due to additional costs and loss of use. Unacceptable company.

This pool company was the best hands down. They have come through in all promises and the owner was hands on and communicative every step of the way. Installation was timely and deviations were quickly corrected.

Don't even waste your time contacting this company. The owner Sergio came to our home to discuss installing an inground pool. He spoke with us for 40 minutes about his company, installation process, package options, etc. He took a copy of our property survey & said he would go to the town himself and determine what our options were because we're on a corner lot and then he'd email us a couple quotes.

Two weeks went by & we didn't hear anything, so I emailed him and said we were still interested in getting a quote from him. This was now over a week ago I sent the email, over 3 weeks ago since he came to our home. Absolute waste of time. There is zero understanding of customer service or communication at this company.

You are better off riding down the road and throwing your money out the window, they are the worst, installer "PETE" rip me off bad 4 years ago and my NEW liner still is not the right size after he said he took the liner back and got it corrected and brought the same one back, piss poor work, don't be fooled by them and they change locations too! BEWARE!
