Very Unprofessional! They never answer phones or call back. they schedulded an opening finally 2 months ago on may 25th 2021 for after 3pm. they never opened our pool or showed up when they were scheduled. I finally called the owners cell number Paul Alter given to me by C.A. he said he didn't know why they didnt show up when they were supposed to. and never called us back after 1 email 5 text messages and 13 phone calls. now our pool is not opened and all other companies are booked till the end of June! They are TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY FROM aceme pool and spa!

My family has used Acme Pools probably for 10 years or more and one would think that this kind of loyalty would be rewarded. But no such thing. A couple of years ago our relatively new heater died. Acme admitted that it was their fault and paid most of the cost for the replacement. My family paid for a significant upgrade so that the problem would not occur again.
According to the pool heater company, Acme did not close the pool correctly and allowed water into the heater during the winter. I am not a pool heater person so this is just my understanding of the issue. Acme agreed. Fast forward just two years and our pool heater dies again. A $5000 problem to replace it. The same pool heater company says, on audio, that Acme once again did not close the pool properly and water caused some kind of erosion in the heater making it useless. $5000 to replace it.
Now this would be bad enough but try to get Acme to call you back. Try to get an answer to the problem other than the blame game. Then to top it off, we do get a call from Jeff at Acme saying they are dropping us as a client. They hadn't shown up to clean the pool as contracted to do, had not returned our multitude of phone calls and now they decide to answer our call by cancelling our contract with them. Going to Small Claims Court is always an option but these companies understand that by the time you spend days in court, hire an attorney etc. it usually does not pay. Hiring your own attorney from a cost benefit standpoint does not make any sense either.
Just replace the heater and shut up. I hope that this review at least gets to someone who will pay attention when they go to hire a pool company. If after 10 years you don't deserve some loyalty, well, you get the idea.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I've been using Acme pools and spa for the past ten years. This year when they closed my pool they never put the gizmo's in correctly, and they popped out. Filling my pool lines with water. I realized that the lids to my skimmers were off because the gizmos shot them off. I said no big deal just call ACME and they will fix it.
They are so unprofessional, I've called them over a dozen times within a week and they haven't called me back not once. I thought they were better than that. Especially to a loyal customer of 10 years. They should higher people that know what they are doing!

This is by far the BEST pool company around. I've tried out multiple companies over the past two years, and they are the only ones that showed up and did the job right. Last year I hired them to fix a leak I had in my filtration system. When I spoke to them on the phone, they actually helped me fix the problem for free, before they charged me for a service call.
The person I spoke with didn't want to waste my time and money if it was something I could fix on my own. I wasn't able to fix it on my own, and I hired Acme. I also hired them to close my pool and open it again this year. Their prices are very competitive, and they do the job right. I will be hiring them to do more work this summer. If you are looking for a company this year, make sure to give Acme a chance. I don't think you will be disappointed.

NOPE. never again. this is my 5 th season with my inground. I newly hired them to close in September ( loop lock).& open now 06/27/18. my pool is green. loads more debris this year @ bottom. they totally did something wrong closing or opening. I've NEVER opened in the last 4 seasons & had this problem. ever. the ONLY thing that changed was them!. guessing they did not secure things correctly @ season end & definitely not winterized correctly. 1 star for being friendly. fired!. Next.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. Stay away from these nuts. These people are weird. The Jerkoff rude customer service guy named Jeff isn't really named Jeff he's really Paul the owner who pretends to be Jeff(don't ask me ). I've used them 3 seasons in a row and last year when I called with an issue that they created Jeff/Paul was such a dick I decided to pay more and go with a different company. Not worth the aggravation and unprofessionalism especially if I'm paying for the service to save a penny or two.

Hello I have used this company for several years now and the service has been outstanding and prompt. When I had some problems with my pool they were quick with diagnosing the problem and made excellent repairs. Also very understanding with billing issues and I would recommend this company for a safe and clean pool service. Special thanks to Jeff and all the pool guys (I wish I could remember all the names).
