Absolutely horrible service from owner, ( the girls at the counter are amazing).I purchased a pool when my installater came. I was informed I was missing parts and given some wrong parts that don't belong.spoke with owner he lived up to mistake.offer him(which is now a mistake on my end) to look for the boxes i needed and will give hom 48 hrs.well he couldn't find them so apparentlyhe took it upon himself to order.now im heari g no trackingo parts so i requested a refund.now I'm being told HE will NOT REFUND ME my money.as he been loosing business and money.well 1st of all if he knew how to talk to people with respect he may have more business. instead of yelling at customer and lying.

Will never shop there again. Been a customer for years. My wife went to pick up the enjoy system of chemicals, they sold here the wrong amount and many other chemicals we didn't need. I sent her back to return the extra chemicals that she just bought and were told no refunds on chemicals. We just bought them less than a hour ago, they didn't care.
I was trying to support local business. Go on line The enjoy system is much cheaper, with free delivery in a couple of days. Or go to Hunters pool down the street as they have good customer service. Looks likes brothers might be going out of business judging by the lack of cars in the parking lot.

I would not recommend Brothers Pool to anyone! The owner was completely rude. I purchased my pool from them many years ago along with another liner nine years ago. I consider myself a faithful customer. I recently purchased a new liner. I was guaranteed by the owner when I picked it up that it was the correct size for my pool. When the installers came to the house to put it in, they knew right away it was not the correct size.
Way to small! Pool liners need to be stretched but this would have had to be stretched 4-5 feet or more to make it work. I believe it was a 15 foot round not 18 foot round. The owner had me drive all the way back to his establishment 45 minutes just to be rude to me and would not refund me my money. I have never been treated so poorly I would not recommend them to anyone.

Back in the summer, I plugged in my Aquabot Supreme not noticing there was some corrosion on the plug and I burned out the plug end of the cord and the powerbox. I brought my Aquabot back to Brother's Pool where I had originally purchased it in 2016 (at the time they were under different and better ownership) to see if they could put on a new cord.
They told me that they might be able to splice on a new plug end of the cord or track down a replacement cord (the unit worked fine otherwise). I filled out a tag with my name and telephone number on it which was put on my Aquabot before I left. Each month after that I called to check on my Aquabot and was told that they hadn't had a chance to look at it yet.
The last time I spoke with someone at the end of November he told me there was a note on it that said the parts were ordered. Then the holidays came and went. I called this past week and spoke to the owner who said he would take a look in the back, but that he thought that it had been thrown away. He never called me back to let me know, so I called him back today.
He looked up in my files and started talking about 2020 when I had it repaired instead of getting a new one. I told him that I was referring to last summer 2021, not 2020 and he kept talking about covid, bankruptcy and all of the different employees he had working there. Finally I got a word in and he told me he threw it away and that it was shorted out and he could sell me a new one with a 25% discount.
When I told him I had been calling monthly to check on it and parts had been ordered he basically told me that he's had a bunch of new employees and he couldn't keep track of anything other than what he has in his computer and that I must have missed the email with a repair quote (never was sent an email). Finally, I got a word in and told him if you come across it while you are cleaning out your warehouse there will be a tag on it with my phone number so please call me and I will come pick it up.

If you want to have one of the worst experiences of your life buy a pool from Brothers Pool. I give them a 0 in customer relations and satisfaction. The staff is rude, unresponsive and unwilling to help. All they do is sell you a pool and the material and then you are on your own. It took over 6 months to get our pool in and now its December.we still dont have a cover for our pool.

This place has completely fallen apart. There is no management or leadership. From what the brand new employees said, there was a splitting up of the business and they spend all day " putting out fires with customers". Your pool will not be installed when they promise and the owner will never give you a straight answer about anything. You will have to call and call and call to get anything.
The most dysfunctional business I have ever dealt with! I wish I read the reviews from Yelp and the BBB before buying. The complaint filed against this company over the past 2 years since the business was split is unbelievable! I beg you for your own good, find somewhere else!

If you want buying a pool to be the most stressful and inconvenient experience of your life then look no further than Brother's Pool. They have no place being in business. I can't believe I made the mistake of buying an above ground pool from them. My pool was scheduled (after MANY calls) to be installed on May 29th, a few days before they call me to tell me they can't do it and have to refer me to another contractor who can't install it until July.
I needed to get the materials to my house on MY OWN TIME AND MONEY. I called 4 times letting them know I was coming with a U-Haul to come pick up the materials and when I got there they acted like I was crazy to want to pick up the pool THAT I PAID FOR. The guy John who works there is rude and completely off his rocker. The woman who works there is fine but John just bullies her when customers are around. It was truly the worst customer service experience and mistake of my life. Please, for the love of god, do not buy anything from Brothers Pool!

So i know A few of us agreed to not shop with Brothers Pool anymore but i tried to stay loyal. But When asked to speak with the only person I can get any type of answers from John referred to him as ( Who the black kid ) and that he is the owner talk to him instead. So I informed him that last year you guys broke my pump and Danny came to fix it. And I was here to pick up the chemicals he suggested I get. We had our pool covered up in September of 2020. In late October, early November the cover caved in. I called several times and left messages. Finally, John called and said all his technicians were out in the field, the issue was never resolved. Fast forward to last week, and called to make an appointment to have the pool opened. Spoke with Danny, told him the pool was a complete mess and I was truly disappointed and asked, what they could do for us.
He said we could pay for the opening and they would provide the chemicals. I felt we didn't need to pay for the cover to be taken off cause it was literally laying there in the middle of the pool that is full of fall leaves and debris. In the afternoon John called. He told me that he was there all winter and never got a phone call about this.
It wasn't til I was off the phone when I realized it indeed was him who had called me back in the fall. He proceeded to "Yell" at me telling me he can't afford to do anything for free. He told me he's living in a hotel cause his roof had damage from the high winds this fall yada tada, that he lost a large part of his staff, I wonder why? Hmmm. and kept Ranting on and on at me.
I told him what Danny said, but he wasn't interested, he reneged the offer. In all my years, I have never been yelled at by any owner of a business. He was yelling at me so much, I had the phone on speaker so my husband could hear it all. I proceeded to hang up on him, I didn't call to be verbally abused. He called back and spoke with my husband asking when "she" wanted the pool opened.
He was going to take $50 off the opening. My husband agreed, but we cancelled and found someone else. My husband and I are in our 70s and have had a pool for over 35 years, never had this happen to us before even when we did it ourselves, it's not going to be easy to clean it up. I was soo disappointed that this happened, thought they were a reputable company. I would Never Ever recommend them for anything

So since lia left I stop going in to brothers pool John rises up the price every time you talk to him. I went in there last week to get a liner and a filter. Danny was amazing give me pricing great customer service he even showed me and my wife how to keep our pool heated with cover solar. John came in from out the back took over the conversation from Danny and tried to charge me 3 times the almost then what his computer stated. This is my last time shopping there.

100+ days since ordering a pool I was promised in 2 weeks that has yet to be delivered or any update on when it should be. They have charged me for in full and telling me I cannot get a refund after being told a month ago that I was able to. Supposedly no one works there any longer who was there a month ago (hard to believe). Finally got the owner on the phone after weeks and did not listen to one word of a conversation and yelled "YOU"RE NOT GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK SO STOP BOTHERING ME AND WASTING MY TIME" - to which he hung up immediately.
I've never spoke to him prior, so I haven't bothered him. DO NOT GIVE THIS STORE YOUR MONEY! An absolute joke, who runs their business this way and treats customers that way.

Would have left zero stars if that was an option. Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Upon entering the store it seemed as if no one was even working half of the stores lights were off and we were not greeted with even a simple hello. The employee that was working was arguing loudly with another customer. When he finally stopped to see if we needed anything he seemed aggravated and short tempered he said he could only sell us something if we had cash the computer system was down.
Not a problem we had cash on hand. He takes an unwrapped filter from a display hot tub and tells us its $60. I honestly thought he was joking. Brand new they are about $30. I also wanted to purchase jet cleaner. He says hes not selling me that because he has no idea of of the price I laughed and said I guess its free, He grabs the bottle from my hand tosses it and says to me no and that's $70.
He was raising his voice I said he needed to lower his voice and not be so loud he said no. My husband asked his name he wouldn't give it and just said I'm the owner. Funny because we have been doing business there for several years and was told by someone else that they were the owner. We have an agreement via email from Lisa and Lia Mongillo for a special price to close our pool. My wife and I called several times to confirm they will honor the agreement since we were told by the person on the phone that Lisa is no longer there due to a divorce. They came and closed the pool and charged the full amount. After several days, my card was refunded and charged the agreed on amount. Today, JOHN MONGILLO called me asking how he could help.
I told him Gabby authorized the refund and to honor the price. He said he could not do that. That he is losing money and Lisa and Lia had no authority to do this back in June/July of 2019. DO NOT GO HERE! These people are crooks! We were promised either a pool or a full refund by August. They promised they had these pools in stock in a warehouse in Arkansas despite Covid. Here it is almost October and still no pool. They refused to give us a refund. Took weeks looking for the manager or owner. Finally found the guy and he nearly attacked us. Screaming and swearing in our faces. Called us names and told us he doesnt give a **** about our pool since "its the size of a toilet bowl."

I asked him to come first thing in the morning the next day, so I would not have to wait home yet again, and he still refused to give me a time for him to come. Honestly, I doubt he would've shown up anyway. I immediately canceled the request for service and was met with extremely rude manners from the owner. DO NOT USE BROTHERS POOL!

We used brother to purchase N above ground pool at a previous residence. Really liked them. Had them come to our new house to install a heater and omg, they effed it up. Im so upset. They reused a pipe with a hole in it, so it was spewing water when the pump turned on. 2 days later, the pipes exploded at a joint they didn't glue. Im so upset. I paid all this money and I cant use my pool.

This company has the absolute worst service I have ever experienced in my life. The salesman, Paul, was excellent but from there on out it has been an absolute disaster from the delivery to the service. The communication is abhorrent. It is almost impossible to get in touch with somebody and nobody ever calls you back. They don't show up for delivery, no call.

I sincerely regret buying my hot tub here and once they hopefully resolve this warranty issue, I will never do business with them again.

I can deal with gruff phone conversations (completely condescending) and I can even deal with rude gesticulating in my direction in person. What I can't deal with is lying to my face. John (the owner) absolutely lost a customer for life after trying to tell me a used tub on the floor was a year old (it was 8 years old) while trying to give me a "great deal" on the 8 year old used tub. 6k? SMH. Shopper beware.

Anyone giving this company more than a 1 Star and claiming to be happy with their service is either a friend or family member of the company. Terrible service, terrible company, terrible human beings. The owner comes from a large, privileged family. Do your research on John (the REAL OWNER) check his public history records. Research Al (the Brother In Law) also known as "a wanna be thug". (Now you know why "Lisa"/ John's wife and Al's sister is such a loud mouth).

We hired Brothers pool to open our above ground pool this year and it was a BIG mistake. We asked them to change the sand in the filter and remove the cover. $500 and three weeks later we were still having issues. Read on for specifics, but bottom line.their service was unfriendly, condescending and it was clear they did not care about us as a customer.
The biggest issue was removing the cover. We removed all the dirt, water and leaves we could; like what we do every year (25+) with other companies. Instead of pulling off the cover avoiding getting the debris in the pool, they let it all dump in. NO other company has ever done that. When we questioned Brothers Pool, they said that's what they always do, and it was our issue the pool was filthy.
We had to buy chemicals that we've never had to buy before and vacuum the pool 10-15 times before it was clean and clear again. The pool was opened on June 7th and we were finally able to get in on July 3rd. With the filter, they told us they spread out the sand in a waste area we identified in a corner of our yard and instead they dumped it in one big pile under a nearby pine tree.
The filter wiring was not grounded nor was the motor mounted back on the base. Please be careful if you are getting work done by them and be prepared to have deal with issues and superiority from the employees.

I have been lucky enough to have had 2 pools put in by brother's pool (moved to another house) and a hot tub. I've referred them for other pools. All pools have come out beautifully. Al, Dan and Drew are such nice guys. By the time they are done you feel like they are family. What can you put in now, so you can have them back? It's always a surprise to have people working on a project with you that you actually enjoy to have around. Al has been putting in pools in this family business for over 20 years (I think). Dan has been with them as long as I can imagine and Drew is there newest crew member.
He just graduated from college in construction management and is bright and personable. I know all this because that how nice these guys are. I do wish Al came out to help with design questions or suggestions, but honestly they would have to clone him. Be Cool with Brother's Pool!

I wouldn't trust these idiots to close a goldfish bowl. Lia Morgillo is the manager and she should be grateful that her family has a business they can leave to her so she can run it into the ground. This bitch is horrendous. Customer service to her means yelling and interrupting the customer so she can squawk about it being a family business and she doesn't have to explain anything to the customer. Really?
So I should just let two ex-cons close a 50k swimming pool? I can't question the misinformation your staff provided to me? Ok. Service wise, they suck. Our pool area is a mess after they closed the pool, our pool ladder was just tossed on the lawn, our winter pool cover was stepped on and our pool cover was not properly attached to the pool deck.
They also claimed to have called me but I don't have any inbound calls. So not only do they do sloppy work but they lie. I love to support family businesses over mega companies but when the manager of this family business acts like a three year old throwing a temper tantrum and then the work performed is substandard, I'd feel more comfortable with a mega company.
Save your aggregation and either do your pool work yourself or go down the street to Hunters Pool where you won't get yelled at and the staff knows how to control their emotions.
