Customer service is *consistently* rude and hostile for no reason. I never write negative reviews, for small businesses especially, but I was really shocked by the treatment and tone from workers here. Do not recommend.

Imperial just replaced the liner on my 24' above ground. Their workers did a great job and were very respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient. The owners are very helpful and trustworthy. This is a great family owned and operated business! Imperial Pools is an A+, Highly Recommended!

I really don't like to post a bad review for local businesses but when they are terrible and awful to the customers it needs to be known. leslie pool in north haven and orange are the usual go to places for supplies and service, but the smaller shops deserve business and to thrive. i have been there a few times and the only consistent thing that i can say is that the prices are more expensive than you care to pay and that the rudeness of the employees is something that goes above and beyond levels of "we dont give a shit". i went to leslie pool to get water tested but there was a computer problem and a line that would have me waiting hours. my wife said let's go to imperial in north branford. i hsaid yes with a little bit of hesitation, but decided to give it another shot. my experience was not even horrible again, but left me embarassed and now angry. i went in with my pool water to have it tested and the young girl was so nice and pleasant it let me take my guard down. the test was less than a minute from handing the water to getting the results. a dark haired girl who came quickly to take the paper with the results quickly looked at the results and said this. "your water is cloudy right"? i said no its crystal clear and i believe it is really not problematic at this point. she then disregarded my reply and said here empty this whole bucket and youll be fine, and started to get the product rung up. i asked to see the printout, and she flashed it in front of my eyes and quickly pulled it away. i asked to see it but was told that i needed this chemical and it would cost almost 100$. i said to her that i want to see the results and she again declined to let me see them and began to get snotty. i explained that i wasn't buying right now and wanted to know what the issues were with the water. she took the chemical and threw it back on the shelf with much anger. i looked at the chemical and knew that i could add baking soda to achieve the same result if that was the issue. she then huffed walked away, and slammed the paper into the bin next to the register. my wife mortified exited and went to the parking lot with a look of embarassment and awe. i followed with the girl making comments as i exited. i went to my car and was speechless. i looked at my wife but we were unable to say anything. i said what the hell just happened? she said she couldnt believe what happened.she asked me if i had the paper, i replied no. i sat for a minute then left. i became more angry as i drove away and contemplated in going back in and making my feelings heard but i was talked out of it and went home. so the next day i set out back to leslie pool to have the water tested. this time it took a few mins and a completely detailed anyalsis, said all aspects of the water were fine and gave suggestions on what i would need to maintain in the coming weeks/months. no hard sale, no pressure. these girls at imperial pools are not nice and i have to say will never go back. i happenend to be at a party a week later and talked to a few people who have pools and shared my experience with them. amazingly they all had similar interactions going into imperial as well. they weren't surprised but all had the same solution. never patronize that business again. i know that peiple gave bad days, weeks etc, but this is an across the board consensus. i.would love to be able to trust going in there, it is closer than going to north haven, but sometimes traveling a little further and waiting is better than being treated like a pos.

Water testing and chemical recommendations are always spot on, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Wonderful business. We bought a house with an above-ground pool and knew nothing about taking care of it. The folks at Imperial Pools are so helpful and clear about what we need to do, steering us away from spending money we don't need to spend. We highly recommend them!

The staff at Imperial Pools is incredible. We bought a house on the shoreline with a pool and have never owned a pool before. Imperial Pool staff very clearly explained what we needed to do to get the pool ready for a party we'd planned, walked my husband through the process, tested pool water for him several times, and did not try to sell us equipment or services we didn't need. My recommendation could not be higher. Really great business!

Very nice, accommodating, professional pool store. Considerably better attention and welcome feeling than others I have tried locally. No pressure service but also attentive without being overbearing. Not a chain or uppity multi- location establishment just a good reliable place.

People at Imperial know what they are doing, but our experience with service has been mixed. Customer service has been excellent in the store, but over the phone they tend to be quite curt. Expect no special favors or exceptional responsiveness from this dealer. Our pool was maintained by them for many years but we've moving to another local provider for service.
