Patrick Lerz of Wolcott, CT started the Pool Water Pat business in 1987. Driving just one truck, a 1977 International nicknamed the "Yellow Monster", Pat got his first order when a friend offered to buy his water pump if Pat filled his pool. Water pump in place, the orders started coming. The summers of 1988 and 1989 boasted two significant turning points.First, Pat purchased a second truck and hired a driver to help with orders. Second, Pat expanded into the pool industry by building relationships with professional pool installers.

Reasons why I will continue to use Pool Water Pat for pool water delivery (first time using them, by the way): 1) first contact was pleasant, easy and efficient and they came out pretty quickly considering it was the height of the season for filling pools 2) I had told them on the day of delivery that I hadn't been able to hook up the hoses yet so just fill it up to the return. Well, when I got home they had hooked up the hoses and filled it up to the appropriate level 3) I didn't need a full truck load so when I saw the charge on my statement it was less then the full price. That was honest. I never would have known. If these reasons don't convince you, I don't know what will.

We had a water delivery scheduled between Thursday-Saturday a direct date was not given to us which was fine because we knew it was going to be a busy pool opening weekend. Friday night we got our delivery but needed to be topped off. The delivery man said he would be back first thing in the morning and left the hoses in the yard. No problem there and the driver was very nice.
The next day by 12 the driver didn't return so I called the office to ask for an update. The women was very rude and said well I don't know your information please hold on. Then took my info and said they would return my call. Then by 8 no one returned our call but we still had the hoses. So I called to leave a message asking for an update. They answered the phone past business hours and the women very rudely said you again at 8:00.
She wouldn't let me speak and simply say I was just calling for an update since the driver said 1st thing and she never returned my call. She was talking over me telling me I was ungrateful and a rude customer. I eventually hung up because of the way she was speaking to me. She then CALLED ME BACK and harassed me more about how terrible I was. She sounds like a very unhappy miserable person so when shopping for pool water etc take your business elsewhere because she is not someone you want to deal with. I read endless reviews about how rude she is so clearly it's not a new thing or a bad day. Hope she finds a job she is happy with someday!

The woman who answers the phone is the rudest woman ever. No communication at all and if you ask for any updates or ANYTHING you're treated as if you're a bother. We had gotten our pool filled with them. First truck went smoothly then the guy said he would BE RIGHT BACK and left His hose etc propped up and in yard. Hours passed he didn't return we called only to be told they don't come back the same day and will be there first thing tomorrow morning. 10 am rolled around my husband called.
The lady who he spoke with was VERY RUDE to him and wouldn't give him a time frame on when they would be back. By noon I had had enough and called myself only to have the woman tell me they basically overbooked and I needed to wait. All I wanted was a time frame! She then proceeded to say "don't worry your beautiful new pool will get its water etc" almost taunting me.
The call ended in her SCREAMING at me and still giving me no answers to when we would get the rest of our water or the hose removed! Needless to say the easiest part of the most stressful situation of getting a new pool was the WORST thanks to this woman! And I never ever write reviews but this needs one!

Pool Water Pat is a great company. They have fast delivery and the guy who delivered was extremely nice. This was the first time i used them and was recommended by a friend to call them. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you so much for being a great company!

I had water delivered today. I was still in the process of cleaning the green slimy muck that was my pool and having a very hard time doing it. the driver was very patient and helped me out he really went above and beyond I wish I had cash I wanted to give him a tip. I called his boss to tell him how great this guy was! I will definitely use Pool Water Pat again
