Christopher Lang spent his high school and college summers working with his father's swimming pool company in Long Island, NY and became very involved in the entire business. He founded Lang Pools, Inc. in 1993, shortly after finishing college at State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.

Our professionally trained maintenance crew at Lang Pools, Inc. is equipped to offer any and all services needed to make sure your swimming pool and spa look and run their best. Our team works in trucks that are GPS-monitored and radio-controlled. Our vinyl liner crews have installed thousands of liners on all types of pools.

Lang replaced the liner and changed the pool to a salt system and it is amazing! They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and incredibly responsive. They also clean and do the general maintenance and they are always on time and do a great job. I would highly recommend them! We had a great experience with Lang Pools. We bought a house that had a gunite pool that had not had a human swim in it in almost a decade. We had several pool companies come out to give us estimates on restoring it. Some never returned our calls after coming to look at it, some gave us CRAZY estimates. We contacted Lang Pools, Ron came out assessed our needs, walked us through the process.
In short order he came back to us with a reasonable estimate on the costs and timeframe for the job. Once the job was started his crews were great, if we had any issues we could reach out to Ron and he was great at addressing any needs we had. Sometimes we didn't even need to get Ron involved, a quick call to Marci in the office got things moving for us. She was great and was always there to help us! Can't wait for summer!

Lang was very professional and quick in getting the job done. Steve was great from the beginning and Ron knew exactly what he was doing getting it installed. The digging started on 11/10/2021 and was completed within two weeks. First pic below is 11/10/2021 and the completed pic was taken on 12/2/2021! Can't wait to jump in! Lang has built us an oasis in our backyard! Despite some delays during the installation and some back and forth around design elements, we are extremely happy with the finished product. If anyone in the Fairfield County area is considering building a pool, I highly recommend Lang Pools. My experience did not start out great if I'm being honest, but the end result is fabulous. I will tell the good, the bad and the ugly (not in that order). When I told the gentleman who sold me the pool that I hired a landscape architect, he told me that it was a waste of money.
He shared that Lang Pools offers a computer program design for free if you buy the pool. He recommended that I cancel the architect, which was my first mistake. The quality of the design I received from Lang Pools was so poor, it was very upsetting. When I complained about he design, the same person who told me not to use an architect completely dismissed my concerns.
He said something to the affect of "you are lucky you are getting a pool at all this year, forget about the design." At that point, I had to scramble to find a new designer, and pay out of pocket for an outside company. I did end up getting a great design, but I felt like I was being misguided by the Pool Company that I placed my trust in. It also created unnecessary stress and extra money spent. Then, there was a problem with the pool kit itself.
I never blamed Lang Pools as I knew it was a manufacturing problem. However, I did expect honesty and communication about it, and I received neither. I expected a call from someone in power saying here is what is going on, and here is what we are going to do. When I called to express my frustration I spoke with Marci, the office manager. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable.
She put the right people in my path to help me resolve the issue. Marci kept me abreast of all the "next steps" and time frames. I also had a great experience with Giavanna, who helped me obtain the permit. It was a very smooth process. I had the pleasure of meeting both Marci and Giavanna when I went to the showroom to pick out the liner. Both of them were very helpful, and seemed excited and happy for us as we were going through construction. Steve, the service manager was delightful when he came on sight after the build.
He was honest and eager to get our feedback regarding the end result. He thoroughly reviewed our minor concerns and promised they would be addressed in a timely fashion. Last, but certainly no least, we had the pleasure of working with Ron, the construction manager. Ron brings with him a wealth of knowledge. We felt like he was treating us as if we were family.
He guided us and we felt like he was being our advocate after not having a great start. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work and makes you feel like your pool truly matters to him, as much as it does to you. Ron has many many years of experience behind him and has an incredible vision. He was able to help us create function as well as beauty.
Here is my advice- if you are turned off by one or two team members who are less than kind, don't lose faith. Lean on the ones who you connect with, who are professional, honest, and give you the service you deserve. I look out to my backyard at my pool and feel very blessed and grateful. It is a beauty!

Good morning from New Rochelle, NY! This is an email for Chris Lang and his team. This summer is the 18th year of our Lang Pool backyard. Yesterday we enjoyed our 2nd son's college graduation party. As everyone gathered they commented about the hidden gem we have in our backyard. All I can say is that we have this backyard because of Chris' insight in creating a backyard oasis from a small hillside, something the other 2 companies that came did not have.
Thank you to Lang Pool team who have provided great service and are always willing to guide me through my pool obstacles throughout the last 18 years. Enjoy the rest of the summer.

We are so happy with our Lang Pool! The entire process was made super easy with the help of Marci, Ron, and their team! Our fiberglass pool was swim ready in 7 days, and our family was able to enjoy the beautiful product all summer. The whole Lang staff worked hard to make sure everything was up to our family's high standards. After completion, their service professionals were amazing as well. Highly highly recommend Lang Pools- thank you!

We decided to build a pool for our family and after interviewing several companies we immediately were drawn to Lang pools. Ron came out to visit us and he was very reassuring, knowledgeable and professional. He guided us through the entire process and was always there to answer any questions or take care of all derails. His staff worked efficiently and diligently, and were very skilled. Marci was always there to support us through this process of pool construction and permitting and was always available to help in any way possible. Scott was also so helpful and was always there to ensure our project was moving along.
Our finished pool is beautiful as promised and we are enjoying it with our family. Ron even walked across our automatic pool cover to prove to us how well it works, now that's dedication! We would highly recommend Lang pools and of course Ron and the rest of the staff. They exceeded all our expectations!

Lang pools installed a liner 2 years ago in my built in pool assuring me that even though another vendor installed the pool, they have no problem installing a liner (as seen on their website! ) Only 2 years of use and the liner caved in about halfway around the pool. They refuse to repair the problem saying they only offer 1 year warranty and that it is not a Lang Pool (thank god!) I didn't expect my liner to cave in as it did NOT after 14 years from fairfield pools install. Recalling the Lang Pool install with the wrinkles and NO LINER LOCK until we asked for it...now I am experiencing their very poor workmanship . Poor jobs don't last too long! I highly recommend another pool company. Anyone interested in seeing my pool, please feel free to reply.

Our first pool and we wanted it perfect. We like to use local family owned businesses and after much research decided on Lang Pool in Norwalk, Ct. Building a pool is a long process, you have steel workers, plumbers, masons, electrician, plasters, excavators all working on one project but Chris and his team were able to get our pool open and running for the beginning of the summer of 2017.
Since then we have been using his maintenance staff, big shout out to Michael, who really does an amazing job opening, closing and weekly services of the pool. If you are looking for a new pool or fixing up an existing one definitely go and talk to Chris Lang at Lang Pools in Norwalk, Ct.
