Pool Tron has been designing and building pools since 1977, and our expertise in concrete construction reaches back even longer. We have refined techniques in concrete pool construction that create structures that are more durable and better resist settling and weather effects. Our wet shotcrete process is a significant advantage. It requires better-trained, more-experienced applicators, but it delivers significantly higher and more consistent long-term strength throughout the pool structure. All Pool Tron pools gain unmatched strength and durability from our unique double-cage-steel reinforcement technology.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Absolutely shady business going on here. Office employees are hostile and not trustworthy. Employees drive like maniacs and do not respect road signs. Currently disputing an accident caused by one of their careless employees running a stop sign. DO NOT USE THEM.

Pool Tron designed, built and maintains our pool! We love our pool! It is life changing for us! They are the BEST! Their design team helped guide us because we have never built or owned a pool before so we had a lot of questions and they were so accommodating! Services: General construction, Swimming pool water analysis

I booked an appointment to get an estimate on replacing coping and retiling our pool and water feature. They were booking estimates 5 weeks out, which I waited patiently for. The day before they called to reschedule, which is fine. However the estimator didn't show up at the new time and I got no call. Not a good way to earn business. If that's how hard it is to get an estimate from PoolTron, imagine what it's like after you fork over the money. Update: they did eventually show up 2 weeks later unannounced to assess the pool but they never submitted a quote.

Critical: Professionalism Based on their driver alone, I would never use this company. Cut me off, was driving at least 65mph on Lindbergh where the posted speed limit is 40mph, and drove right up on the bumper of anyone unfortunate enough to end up in front of them. Very unprofessional while driving the company labeled truck, terrible representation.

Horrible service! Was supposed to come out and fix a pool vac. Called in the morning and they said they could not give me an estimated time of arrival or even an a.m. or p.m. I waited 9 hours for them and they never showed. When I called, they said they came by but no one was home, which was a lie. The front door was open, and there was a note to ring the bell.
I took off work and waited all day, and I have a dog that barks at everything. No music on so I could hear when someone arrive. They never came and lied about it. They also never called my cell phone which was with me the whole time. Not professional at all. Do not use.

I gave them 300 dollars for a pool design in my backyard. They tried to reach out a few times when we were unavailable. We called back to get the design going. Waited for 3 months and still no design. We called back and they said they would just return our 300 dollars. It's been about 10 months now and still haven't returned our money. I have called many times and Dennis never calls us back to return our funds.
I'll be happy to update this review once we receive our money back for no services rendered. The last thing I want to do is leave a bad review. But after a year of waiting my patience is done.

Pool Tron was going to build a pool for a customer near Springfield Missouri for us. We had gone through the design process and they had rendered several drawings and we finally settled on a drawing they designed for us. When we contacted or tried to contact them to sign the contract and start scheduling construction, I could never get ahold of anyone after several and I'm talking 10 to 20 attempts to contact the Dennis, one of the owners, the person we were dealing with, I could never get ahold of them again.
After that I went in to my email to review the drawings they rendered to us for the pool, they were gone and had been deleted from my email so I could not view them (apparently deleted by Dennis). They didn't even have the consideration to call or answer any of my messages just to say we decided we can't do the pool or give any other excuse. We found a different pool company out of Arkansas that did follow through on what they said and are in the construction process now. Dennis and Pool Tron obviously do not keep to their word and I still haven't heard back from them and it has been over a year. Also, I edited this review from my original review reading, what a joke. We are not in any competition as we are a General contractor.

Wow is all I can say. Pool Tron was awesome with the building of our pool. It has gone downhill since! I guess I should have know when the color of our pebble tech to be applied was not communicated correctly to the plaster company. Fast forward to year two. Foot prints started showing up all over the bottom. The plaster company came out to "fix" this by dumping tons of acid in the pool that ruined the salt cell and filters which then became our fault plus a giant mold outbreak.
The salt cell was cleaned and back to working condition. Fast forward to year 3. The salt cell is shot because water got into the power cord and corroded the prongs. Ok great. This will be covered under warranty. NOPE! Because they finished the pool in March the warranty expired in March. Well ok. No one in Missouri opens their pool in March. Also!
The plaster (pebble tech) is coming off! I was told pool Tron was having plaster company come out. NOPE! I got ahold of someone finally and got them to my house myself. Missouri weather cannot take pebble tech we were told. I'm sorry what? Then why seek the product. PROCEED WITH CAUTION! They will not tell you easy problems that will come up that could be prevented. Costumer service is horrific. Pick another company

I just read the other reviews and they are a joke. I'm not sure if it is the competition or just some scam, but I have had nothing but fantastic work done by Pool Tron. They built my pool 34 years ago and have serviced it continuously since then. Their design and professional work is second to none. Pool Tron is not the cheapest pool company in town, but you get what you pay for. I have never regretted my decision to use this company over all the others. The only mistake you can make is to not at least call them with your pool questions.

After 2 years of excellent service I feel that the concerns I expressed in my first review no longer apply. Since the cover incident Dave Becher has been very responsive and quick to solve any issues we have had since then. Seeing how they resolve problems and take immediate action I highly recommend them and will continue to do business with them.

We bought a house with a pool that was built by Pool Tron. It is a beautiful pool but the company is dishonest and their customer service is terrible. When we opened our pool for the first time the temperature control wasn't working. I called them and they sent someone out to take a look ($180 call out charge) they told me the item was broken but went ahead and replaced it without asking if I'd like them to.
They sent me a bill for it for $900. We were receiving extremely high bills each month and when I started to look at them closer I realised I was being charged for salt (we have a chlorine pool) and other items I didn't understand. I took a sample of pool water to a pool service company who told me a number of items on our bill were not in our water.
They were charging us for items that they were not providing us. When we called to take this matter up with them they had no answer and it ended in a dispute. I do not recommend using them and if you already do.check your statements!

Extremely unimpressed. Very poor service. I was referred to this company from a manufacturer of automatic pool covers. Over the course of three weeks, I contacted them six times to get my quote (after they sent someone out to measure) and I got nothing. I escalated the call to a manager who said he would get it straightened out. Nothing. I then escalated to the GM/VP, who called me back within about 30 minutes, listened, said he would identify the problem and.nothing!
I understand they may be busy, but to set an expectation that I'm going to get a quote within 24 hours of each time I call and then get blown off.inexcusable. If they are at capacity or simply don't want the business, just say so! Be respectful of my time and let me move on.
