Blue Fountain Pools

DO NOT USE! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW! DM FOR FURTHER INFO AND DETAILS! After signing our contract with SEAN, we began reviewing all the reviews online and on Yelp regarding BLUE FOUNTAIN POOLS AND SPAS and read so many unhappy customers and complaints against the company. We should have known the integrity of this company once we found this on the internet.

You will find, just do a little searching. JAMES is one their subcontractors that completes the coping, pool tile and concrete decking. He is with DESIGNER CONCRETE and will not follow up with you if there are any mistakes he needs to fix. One of my sheer descents he installed is crooked and let me tell you, once it's in the cement, it cannot be fixed so I have to live with a crooked waterfall put in by JAMES with DESIGNER CONCRETE. ERIC was our project manager, he was worthless! Unprofessional, arrogant and condescending!

All ERIC knew to do was to tell us how many years he had in the industry to intimidate you from voicing your concerns. Hence why he left the company half way through our pool project. The plaster crew forgot to install eyeball fittings in the return lines and left a huge messes everywhere. Plaster splatter everywhere, just look at the pictures. I spent numerous weekends cleaning up after them.

They also power washed the pebble plaster and chipped the coping in so many areas. The following are all the horrible problems I had with BLUE FOUNTAIN POOLS. 1. Communication, you have to babysit the entire project after hiring someone to do this for you. They are very defensive if you voice out your concerns and do not follow up with you. 2. They leave piles of debris and trash after every phase and do not clean up after themselves.

The subcontractors do not care about your house and the mess they leave behind because you are not paying them. FRANK, the owner will show up at your door to collect the check after every phase, seems weird but he'll never give you his name but the subcontractors will share all the gossip with you. 3. And the icing on the cake was the way the coping discolored after 6 months of curing.

My pool looked 10 years old! Look at the pictures! I tried texting JAMES with DESIGNER CONCRETE numerous times and no response. After 6 months of waiting, I had to get it fixed and spent $1,600 out of my own pocket to get the coping stained & sealed and BLUE FOUNTAIN WILL NOT REIMBURSE or fix their mistakes. I can text you the coping invoice if you DM me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! PLEASE BELIEVE ME! THEY WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOU, IT'S ALL SALES TO THEM! THEY JUST WANT YOUR $60,000 to $80,000 for your pool project. I can send you more pictures.it's not a bother if you DM me. I just want to help others from making the same mistake I did!

The most horrible company they lack of communication, honesty, commitment. I am not just an angry customer as people would say this company is quick and ready for payment pick up but not as responsible to get the work done they left my drains in shambles took to much dirt out left my yard very dangerous with pipes exposed we have had to call on other companies to finish there work I would be willing to share photos of the shot creat people and the cement company arguing in my front yard and other messes they left please fi looking for a good pool company go through the better business burrow not just word of mouth being unknowingly of pool process we were taken advantage of employees wilvern, Dan, Mark, office girls who are rude Denise, and Rachel who pass the buck are to each other and get nothing done as I write this review I have yet to get a job completion visit or call so please if you want to see pictures contract me Thank you

Worst contractor we have ever dealt with! They have no one in charge and everything they did, there was an issue. Go ahead and use them, but don't ever say you were not warned.

19 month start to finish. Lied about installing the ozone system I paid for. Then admitted their error and installed it incorrectly (didn't wire it up), luckily I noticed. Only time they call is to collect money. Otherwise they don't call you back. Stay away.

They tell you a good sell to trap you then you are treated like you do not exist. They promise you things and leave your yard incomplete and will not answer calls unless they feel like it. They are not worth the hassle. there are other pool companies to use. Research them and you decide to risque your money and time. I am still fixing my yard and still cannot get them to answer the phone. pool is Compleat but the yard is far from finished and I had to redo the drain so the water can drain without making a waterfall and pond that I did not want. GOOD LUCK and read the other one stars

Very Bad company NOT RELILABLE. The sales person is a liar and not trustable, the office manage is not professional and liar the pool constriction took over a year. we had to live through a construction zone for a year without any confederation from the company. the company has 4 employees, they hire contractors to do the job, the owner said we build more than 20 swimming pool in 2021, I am very happy for him, but what he did is called Greed ( if you respect yourself you should not take more than what you can do). Also the owner has NO Contractor licenses

Blue Fountain just finished building our pools on 10/22/21. We couldn't be happier with the result. The pool is beautiful and the workmanship is top notch. The entire project took only 12 weeks and customer service was excellent. Mark and Dan were always there to answer our calls and communication with office staff was immediate and very responsive.

After being in business for more than 45 years, these guys know a thing or two about building pools. We are so happy with the final product and the great price that we got. We strongly recommend Blue Fountain Pools to anyone who is looking to build a new pool.

Critical: Responsiveness They broke ground on our new pool build on June 23. This has been the worst construction experience we have ever had. I will update when we get them to finish work. It is not possible to post a review unless you click on at least one star, disregard that star please. I am sad to see that the same problems are turning up in reviews of this company's work as I posted for our job. We have still to hear back about unresolved issued two years later. This was the worst construction experience we ever lived through. I posted details in June 2019.

Signed paperwork in Nov 2020.permit didn't come til Feb 2021.excavation began Feb 26th.instead of saw cuts they dug out & broke our other concrete so they were nice enuf to split the cost.yes split the cost! Wow.wasnt my fault but i just wanted my pool so i agreed! Wished i could say we have a beautiful pool but after 5 mos of waiting for the pool to be finished the day the plaster & water go in our pool it looks old & weathered & dirty!

I called Superindent Dan came by and looked at it & he said he'll have the plaster guy come back but he also said don't worry you know you have a lifetime warranty if it cracks! The concrete rubble.rebar.boxes of trash.water bottles etc didn't get dumped for 5 months also! They told me they'll do one dump in the end! Yikes.i understand construction but really! Yea right.no one came back for the plaster! We've had electrical issues.equipment issues.plumbing issues.and i always felt like i was going in circles talking with them!

I guess we should've gone with a company that paid more attention to our EXPENSIVE detail! Asked & left messages for the owner Frank but was always told "he's too busy" NEVER did we say we were too busy too pay nor were we late on a payment! Guess we got burned! Still don't even have any idea how to work our equipment either! We have friends who are watching our progress but you know what i told them find another pool company!

They came over yesterday to look at our pool & we're pretty shocked at what they saw! I just want what we paid in full for at this point! Still waiting to hear back but the office says i never give them a chance to call me since I'm always calling them so here another day goes by & guess what.i stopped calling! Gonna wait & see when they feel like calling me again!

Buyers BeWARE! We signed a contract with Blue Fountain Pools through salesman Sean. Contract started end of November 2020 and our pool was completed May 2021. We went 2 months without the jacuzzi hooked up and over 3 months with the Ozone system we paid extra for not hooked up. We are now in July and have emailed and texted several times about repairs that need to be made.

They built and no one ever overlooked the work. We have a crack in plaster, cracks in tile grout, rough concrete. No replies. Brand new EXPENSIVE pool and this is what you get from Blue Fountain Pools. We have had several friends interested in building a pool. But we would never recommend them.

Blue fountain pools completed the pool about six months ago. Everything they promised was delivered on schedule and with high quality work. We had an issue with the heater but their warranty took care of it. In fact it turned out not to be an issue and that we did not know how the heater operated and were very happy with the way everything works.

I typically do not leave reviews, BUT, this review is warranted. Blue Fountain Pools was referred to us by a friend who just had their pool completed and they were happy with the results. After interviewing with Blue Fountain Pools and a few other pool companies we chose them because of their price and they had everything we were looking for. Construction began November 2019 and was moving along fine and then the Covid Pandemic began along with plenty of rain and work was slowed down considerably, the pool was finally completed in June.

We noticed our pebble tec was not done correctly, edges were not even and color on the bottom was spotty. So begins the issues. a letter was written in June to the Sales Rep, the Superintendent of the project and a few other Managers requesting various repairs to be completed. No response, then in November, 2020, my phone calls began and their excuses began, Covid, we are super busy and Yada, yada. my calls continued through beginning of December when it was agreed mutually to wait until after the holidays. Well, after the holidays, my calls started up again - more effing excuses of how busy they are. Finally, in February 2021, we were able to have someone come out empty the pool and repair the pebble tec - BUT - low and behold they effed it up again - it either is not the right color OR they failed to do the acid wash correctly. NOW once again the calls to them have begun AND no response - no return calls NOTHING!

We are extremely frustrated, you don't spend close to $100,000 to have a half-assed job done. It's a simple fix AND all we want is to have it done correctly. What is a crying shame is our pool is beautiful, we love it, we just want it finished

Critical: Punctuality Not complaining about quality but the pool took 9 months to build. They call for payment right away but the next stage takes 2 months. Lady on the phone is also very unprofessional and not customer friendly. Service: General construction

We had a great experience with Blue Fountain Pools. We met with Eric who gave us ideas and options. He was very easy to work with and was not high pressure. which made the experience all that more enjoyable. We had to have the power line moved and approved by the City. But once that was done, the crew got right to work. Since the line was moved, we were able to add an additional 4 feet for the Baja shelf.

Within a few weeks, we went from just grass to a dugged and framed structure! Then the rains came and slowed the project down. But when the weather got better, the crew was right back to work. It took about 4 months. Blue Fountain had fair prices and the work quality of their crew and subcontractors was top notch! We've now had the pool for 4 months and we absolutely love it! It's made this awful pandemic tolerable!

We upgraded to LED lights, pebbletec instead of plaster and my favorite is the PentAir Screen Logic where you can control the pool off your phone! It's worth every penny! I highly recommend this company!

I was determined to have my pool and spa built quickly and efficiently. Most people I spoke with told me it takes very long to obtain city permits and building a pool would take a minimum of 4 months. I met with several pool contractors and moved forward with Blue fountain pools. Initially Mark came by and we discussed what I was looking for. He was responsible and sent me a quote with a digital image of what my backyard would look like upon completion.

He was spot on! These guys are AMAZING! Mark got our permit within 2 days of signing our contract. We broke ground in less than a week. This company was a true blessing. They worked through rain, we had the winter holidays in the middle of our project and they managed to complete my backyard with the pool, spa, pavers and fire pit in 2 Months! Unbelievable work. In addition Patti was extremely helpful and pleasant every time I called the main office with questions. Keep up the amazing work you all do!

The team did a wonderful job designing and ensuring our NEW pool was completed on time. The entire team working on the project was great and we are so excited for this new chapter in our lives. Thanks Blue Fountain and Great Job

Buyer Beware! If Yelp offered 0 stars, that's the rating this company would receive. Four years after this pool was installed major issues began and continued into the present. First, the tile is falling into the pool on a continuous basis (refer to pictures 1 and 2). Also, there is a large crack under the tile (refer to picture 3). Blue Fountain has refused to cover all issues.

My contract states that "Blue Fountain warrants that the pool structure will remain structurally sound for the period of time that the pool is owned by the original Buyer". Currently, the pool wall has a large traveling crack and when I contacted Blue Fountain once again, they refused to cover the problem. I have attached photos of my Blue Fountain pool and have the original contracts. In my opinion Blue Fountain does not value customers, only their money. Please find a different pool company, one that values their customers and stands behind their work.

I'm really happy with the quality and the workmanship it shows. I met Denise and we went over various design to customize my home. There work was done one time and more importantly stayed within budget. Great job guys thanks!

Our pool was completed after 3 months (even with the heaviest of rains)! We couldn't be happier with the finished project! Patti Clemons was our " go to" person throughout the process. Building a pool is a daunting task! I'm thankful that we chose Blue Fountain Pools. From the very first day, Miss Patty held my hand, kept me sane, and pushed our project through to perfect completion in 89 Days! Yes, there were a couple of hiccups along the way-- but that is the nature of a construction project. And thankfully Miss Patty cracked her whip! Steve, our project manager, was a calming presence as well always looking out us.

I cannot forget James of Designer Concrete who did our decking-- fun and fantastic! Every member of his crew worked hard to make our vision a reality. One must remember kindness and patience when taking on a huge endeavor like having a pool built. Both of which we received and extended during our build with Blue Fountain Pools. My family, and I are extremely satisfied, and happy with the work Blue Fountain Pools and Spas did for us. After comparing a few quotes, Blue Fountain Pools & Spas gave us the best price with everything on our wish list included. Sean designed our dream pool within one hour. Patty and Denise were very courteous, knowledgeable, and always returned my calls, answered all my questions, and concerns.

The crew working on my project was very knowledgeable, and professional answered all my questions, and work with me an any specific changes that I had. They took pride in their job. Pool was completed within the time frame given to us. My family and I are going to enjoy our pool this summer. I totally recommend BLUE FOUNTAIN POOLS & SPAS
