Friendly place. But a bag of salt was $15. Walmart had bags for $7. Just wondering what else I have over paid for. With that being said, the service technicians have been really great!

I hired this company to open my pool, provide biweekly cleanings, and then close the pool. After the pool was opened, they did not thoroughly clean it, and said that it was my fault for having them use the wrong vacuum to clean it (power vs filter). After that, they came out a couple of times, but each time the pool still looked disgusting. I was told it was because of the rain and that it was normal.

I was also told that the pool was clean when they left it. I took a picture and sent it to them less than 24 hours after their last visit, and they said it was clear when they left it. Turns out the pool had an algae issue, which is why sweeping it wouldn't it, and when they did, they just released the algae back into the water. One trip to Clearwater confirmed this (via the pictures that I sent to TriCounty, twice) and they provided the correct treatment for my pool.

I did exactly as they directed and the pool is beautiful again. When I told Tricounty it was an Algae issue and that I wanted to cancel the contract because their team obviously did not know how to handle this as they kept charging me for chemicals but NEVER wrote on the after visit summary that there was an issue, or that they even thought they had to do anything other than regular maintenance, instead of apologizing or offering to try and fix this, they said they were charging me for the chemicals my pool probably did not need.

I am disgusted by the lack of professional customer support and EVERYONE should beware if they use them. They do not know what a simple algae issue looks like nor do they know how to treat it.

On June 25, 2021 Tri County Pools attempted to open our pool for the season. At this time, they said our filter's seal was broken and would order a new system. They started the process of cleaning the pool and left their filter here. They were supposed to come back the next day but did not. We called several times with promises of when they would show.

After a week, they returned unannounced and let themselves into our yard with a "Beware of Dogs, Will Bite "sign. They replaced our filter system and that included new piping. They loaded all of our old equipment into the van without asking and I had to request it back. They did not start the pump or the filter because the pool needed water and instructed me to add water and then start everything.

They also left cigarette butts all over my yard and driveway. Later that evening, I notice two areas leaking water. We contacted them again, they showed up unannounced again and repaired one area and said that our brand new "salt cell" was cracked and that I should look into the warranty. This item was perfectly fine before and was not noted or told to us before the service began.

My pool is continuing to lose water. We are on a well and cannot justify refilling every day. I contacted the company again with no response for two days. Eventually I was able to speak with Melissa after I kept calling. She was polite and listen every well. She expresses that when she meet my mother in the show she "seemed very confused". Most people are confused in pools stores, it's not something you learn in high school. Melissa said she would speak with Andy the manager of that department and get back to me.

She has never called back. The only reason we did not open our pool is because my husband was in the hospital with kidney failure. Needless for say this cost me time, money and stress I did not need.

Tri County did some rehab on our 12 old salt water pool. They acid washed, reset coping stones, re-tiled and caulked. The work was very well done, they cleaned up after themselves and our pool looks lovely. Their was an occasional misfire in communication but nothing awful. Honestly I'd give 4 and a half stars if it was an option. Recommend and would use again in the future.

Called and received quote options from Virginia to close my pool, a week later left a message but received no return call. Called again and explained I had previously left a message, was told Virginia was with a customer, left my number again. It is now 3 days later with no return call. I have since scheduled with another company. All it took was a phone call, even to say they could not help me to achieve a higher rating, very disappointed

While their in-store selection of accessories is a bit limited, they are so friendly and helpful. What a good pool place in the country should be. There is an extremely nice (a bit older, but hey that's more experienced!) lady there I don't know her name but she was so so soooo nice to my two little boys that came into the store to look at pool items. If you want a huge pool toy section, this place isn't it. But if you want awesome friendly service this is your spot.

I have been going to Tri County for all of my pool needs for 11 years and have always had excellent service. Virginia and her staff always go above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. I would never go anywhere else for my pool supplies.

Full design and build out 13 years ago, and I still rely on their experience and knowledge to keep my pool running smoothly. Curt, Ray, Virginia and crew are the best in the business. No reason to go elsewhere.
