I was reading a lot of negative reviews about Kayak Pools Midwest on Facebook and thought I would come here to share my experience. We purchased our Kayak Pool in the Spring of 2020 right in the middle of Covid. I would have to say the whole process went very smooth from start to finish. We first had a virtual meeting with Todd Simon the sales rep.
Where he told us more about Kayak Pools and what makes them standout over the rest of the competition. He then showed us the different size pools and configurations we could get. Next, he explained pricing, discounts, and incentives we would be eligible for. He finally helped us out with financing for our pool. That whole process from start to finish went well.
Once we signed our contract and put the down payment on the pool the next phase of the process began. As I said we were in the middle of Covid which slowed down this next phase a little bit but it was understandable with what our country was going through at the time. With that said Tammy took great care of us keeping us up to date on where we were in each stage of this process.
Once they had all the pieces for the pool it was dropped shipped to our home where they placed all the pallets in our garage. This kicked us into the final phase where they scheduled our installation. Installation took place August of 2020. So, from start to finish it took about 3 months. That though was better than any of the local pool dealers because they could not install anything until the following year because they were having supply shortages.
When it came time for installation day the installer called us the night before to tell us when they would be there. On installation day the gentlemen that showed up to install our pool were very helpful and professional. They discussed where we wanted our pool to be installed and where we wanted our deck to be. They even helped us with bonding the pool.
Once installation was complete they then showed us how to run our equipment and how to clean the pool. The gentlemen that installed the pool went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and correctly. The whole install process took less than half a day which was impressive. Even after installation Kayak Pools Midwest have been very accessible to us.
Whenever we have had to call for help or to ordered extra things we are always greeted with polite and helpful people. On top of that anyone who sees our new Kayak Pool is always impressed by it and want to know where we got it at. I would also have no reservations referring friends, family, and neighbors to Kayak Pools Midwest.

WARNING: Terrible Customer Service! Salesman lied and said my pool would be installed early last summer when I bought the pool in April 2021. It is now June 2022 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE A POOL! From May 2021 until October 2021 I was told weather delays were stopping my pool from being installed, when I mentioned we had not had rain, I was told "excessive heat" is also a weather delay condition.
I asked for a refund and was told I signed a contract and would not be getting refunded. My contract said my pool would be installed within 2 weeks of delivery. The delivery was made in OCTOBER 2021. did I mention my pool is NOT INSTALLED? Worst company ever. I went with Kayak because they said they would install it within 45 business days of purchase. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

We had an inground pool installed. The entire process from start to finish was very easy. Kayak kept us informed of any delay issues. Time from down payment to installation took about 10 months, but everything is delayed these days due to supply chain issues. Our installer, Dale, was very informative throughout the process which took less than 3 days.
His team was very knowledgeable and the pool and equipment were installed seamlessly. The quality appears to be very high and everything is functioning as expected. The water heated up very quickly to a comfortable 84 degrees which has allowed us to take advantage of the convenience having the luxury of a backyard pool as early as May.

We have recently had a pool installed with Kayak Pools Midwest. With the supply chain issues the pool was delayed for quite sometime. Also, due to weather issues, our pool install was also delayed for several weeks. We were able to get the pool installed last week. Once the install began, it did seem like the pool installation company was in a hurry to install the pool.
In their rush they did quite a bit of damage to our backyard. Upon contacting Kayak, Jose in the customer service department was incredibly helpful. He was able to assist in a positive resolution to the damage done to our yard. The pool itself is fantastic! We have been able to enjoy the pool and we are looking forward to the rest of the season and the seasons to come.

We have just recently signed a contract with Kayak Midwest to get our very first pool. We were referred to Kayak Pools by my cousins who have had their Kayak above ground pool for 15 years and it looks good as new. It was the exact pool we were wanting because of all the features and us not knowing a thing about a pool, this "virtually maintenance free" pool has been verified by my cousins and is exactly what we need!
I can't attest to much since we have just begun the process, but what I can attest to is the customer service we have received so far. Jamie Collins has gone above and beyond and she has been a pleasure to work with. Our original contract was a 12x24 above ground, but after some thought and measuring we decided that a 16x24 would work better for us.
I requested a change order before the pool was ordered and Jamie was on top of it. Processed the change order in a couple days and we are moving forward with the next steps. I also had questions about the permits for my county while at the inspectors office. I left a message, assuming I wouldn't hear back for a few days but that was not the case. Jamie called back and gave me what I needed to finish the application and we were permitted the next day.
A lot can go wrong with any big project, and I am not naive to that. However, I feel strongly that Kayak Midwest cares about their customers and when communicated with respectfully, they will do whatever it takes to ensure your investment in one of their pools is not only successful, but as stress free as possible. I can't wait to update this review with a picture of our dream backyard!

The installers did a great job completing the pool. Although there were delays, they did a complimentary winterization after install. The pool is beautiful and I cannot wait for swim season. It is clear that Kayak has been working on their customer service, as the communication has been very pleasant and professional this spring.

Kayak Pools Midwest were awesome to work with from start to finish. Our pool was installed in one day. The installers worked in 85-90 degrees all day and worked hard! Install was quick and they did a great job! The selling process was super easy and the customer service was wonderful. Our pool is so low maintainece. Once we open the pool, all we have to do is keep chorine in it. We LOVE our pool.

We are extremely pleased with Kayak Pools Midwest and the entire process. They kept us completely informed throughout the entire process with everything from delivery to installation. They have been very friendly anytime I have called to order something. I highly recommend Kayak Pools. The pools are very nice and well built. I have nothing but good things to say about Kayak Pools and Kayak Pools Midwest.
I was especially impressed with the installers. They showed up and went right to work. They were amazing and extremely friendly. They answered any questions I had. It only took them 4 hours to set the pool up from start to finish.

The selling process was super easy and the customer service was great in the beginning. Then comes the waiting part, knowing the issues this country is facing we expected a long delay. Just past the 90 mark we had a family issue and needed to cancel the pool. Thankfully the customer service was understanding and is issuing a full refund. We didn't want to cancel, but family is first and Kayak completely understood and supported our decision.
