Carlton Pools did an AquaBrite upgrade on our 30 yr old pool in Fall 2019. We were very happy with the process. 2 yrs later we are still happy with the upgrade. We use the local store for our pool water testing & chemicals. We are happy with the staff & water treatment results. Plus the store is close to us & on my errand path. The few people that I know with pools, I suggest Carlton for water testing. I trust their results.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Terrible experience thus far. It's been almost a year since we signed the contract and Carlton took most of the payments just to hit us with a massive unexpected delay at the last step. They are non-responsive and completely unwilling to rectify the situation in accordance with the signed contract. Stay away. Service: Inground pool installation

It has been almost 2 years since Carlton has completed my renovation job on my pool. I had a list of warranty issues that were discovered immediately after the job was completed. I want all prospective customers to know that NOT ONE warranty issue has been resolved to date. NOT ONE! I have called their warranty division and Pablo Mattos (site supervisor) doesn't return phone calls or texts. Pablo was here 6 weeks ago and promised to complete a few items within a week.

I haven't seen or heard from him since. I think it is important to let everyone know my story. I have been more than patient. Horrible Customer Service IMO! Update 6/22. Going on year 3 now without any resolution to my warranty claims. No returned calls. No one at Carlton cares. NO ONE!

Very easy to deal with especially if you are new to having a pool and have questions on maintaining your pool.

One of the most poorly run projects I have ever seen. Feels as if once we paid a majority of our money it just got continually worse. When starting the design process and picking a cozy corner we were not advised that there were different sizes or that different sizes were even a possibility. You would think that after spending a large sum of money we would be informed about all of our options and not just standard sizes.

A lot of the pain in this project came from the extremely poor communication on timing and people just showing up on short notice. After waiting a month from when we were projected to start after the winter all of the trades and processes seemed to be scheduled once the previous step completed instead of trying to stagger them to tighten up the timeline.

We were/are still constantly having to reach out to get ETAs and updates on when items can be expected or scheduled only to get voicemail boxes and days worth of waiting on responses. Now today we arrive on plaster day and at 5:30 the crew shows up, drops a pump in our pool that had water in it and left immediately which we were advised they will not be back until the afternoon.

This will now jeopardize getting the water in the same day plaster is completed and their pump is still in the now empty pool running as I type this. Instead of communicating with us while they were on site what the plan was the crew just put the pump in and left. To me it would have been logical for somebody to contact us and ask if there was water so we could attempt to pump out ahead of time or know what to do to help out so they didn't just drop the pump and leave without telling us the plan. Again extremely disappointed with the level of communication and service we have received and do not recommend after this experience.

Most disrespectful company ever. does not return your call, do not answer your phone calls texts. they take their money upfront and whenever they feel like it they show up to do certain tasks. never tell you when they're coming and random people are in your yard. pernits were approved in august of 2021 starting digging in November and until today they're not done. site looks horrible because they tore up the entire yard and entrance to the back yard and wont fix it. concrete left over were thrown around no care in the world. coping stone pieces thrown around. piles of stone and dirt left over again destroying more grassed area. overall horrible experience and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

This is the worst pool company ever we will never recommend them we will never use them again we are still waiting for them to finish up a job from January 2021. They do not know how to project manage they do not respond to emails. Right now we are working w a contract lawyer to sue so that they can finish the pool or otherwise Get someone to finish our pool.

Our contract was signed January 2021. They started work in summer 2021. Now it's almost summer 2022 with no end in sight and so we are probably going to miss 2 summers. I'll update this review if some miracle happens but my pool is now home to frogs birds and mosquitoes- brand new and never used yet.plus they have ALL of our money. So what's left is the finish and aquabrite.terrible service and follow through- I don't recommend them at all and I will let my general contractor know to not recommend them.

Installation went fairly smoothly this spring. However, it turns out they made mistakes. It took over a month to get the filter fixed -they plumbed it backwards! Now I have another issue with the lights, and I can't get service to come out or even talk to me on the phone. Been calling them for a month now. I do not recommend this company based on their service department.

I am disappointed to write this review as this is the 2nd pool I have built with Carlton. The pool started in the beginning of April with a target date of July 4th. Thye have all my money, and even charged additional fees that were a surprise. It is now October, no pool, and I question if it will be complete by winter. This has been the worst construction experience ever and I would never recommend this company to a friend or neighbor.

We bought an in ground pool (new construction) from this company in or around August of 2020. We had trouble getting them to return calls or follow up on things they said they were going to do throughout the entire experience. Our pool was built in Oct 2020 and we knew they would need to come back in the Spring to finish it. It wasn't until Mid May that they finished after lots of trying to reach them or get them to respond and at the time we had a half finished pool.

Once it was done, I knew something was not right when I had to add roughly 1 inch of water per day. When my wife called the sales guy, she was told "this is normal evaporation for this time of year." Sorry, not true. I spoke with friends who have pools and looked at YouTube Vid's from pool owners and everything pointed towards a leak somewhere in the pool. Additionally, because of this suspected leak, I was having to spend hundreds of dollars each week on chemicals I shouldn't have needed to buy to keep the pool balanced because we were having to add so much water everyday.

This went on for a solid month. Finally, after bugging them enough - they said they would send a diver and gave us a date. Diver never showed up, Carlton didn't return calls. Finally got them, rescheduled for another date, diver never showed up. no call, no show. Finally, they actually sent a diver who was able to confirm there was a leak in a floor return without question and was able to put in a temporary seal to stop the leak until they put in the real fix.

From there my wife spoke to someone at Carlton who said - this is on us, we'll drain it, fix it, and fill it back up. That was several weeks ago and nothing has been done and no one has returned our calls since. The other item that made me upset was when they opened the pool, a few guys carried several bags of salt and dropped them right in the yard.

One of them broke dropping salt everywhere and killed a sizable section of grass. That all being said, we ARE happy with the way the pool turned out but we really would just like it fixed and to operate as expected. LETS GO Carlton - PLEASE FIX OUR POOL! Other buyers, beware - it's tough to get this company to respond or do what they say they will when they already have your money. Buyer Beware.

Carlton is absolutely horrible. I called to set up an appointment for a sales consultation around March. Shortly after, I received an email stating that Dan would be my sales consultant. The email contained all of Dan's info, and said he would be reaching out in a few days. A few weeks went by, and I decided to email Carlton and verified all of my contact information.

I received a snotty response back saying that they were busy and Dan would be reaching out as soon as he could. A few more weeks went by and I received an email from an individual there inquiring how my consultation with Dan went. I explained the above, received an apology and was promised that Dan would be in contact. Several more weeks went by still hearing nothing from Dan (by this point I had given up).

I started to receive emails from "Reception" inquiring about my appointment, and wanting to follow up with any questions I may have. I responded that I was no longer interested, explained the above information and asked to be removed from future contact. Frustratingly several weeks later I received another email from "Reception" asking the same question as before, this time I called and spoke to the woman there, again explaining the above story, and asked to be removed from their email list.

She apologized, and promised that I would be removed. Well not today (Nov 20th) I received yet another email from "Reception". I'm not sure what is wrong with this company, but I wouldn't use them to deliver a letter to the mailbox for me. They are horrendous. During the time that I was interested, their sales department never reached out to me once.

I have since moved on, and have asked to be removed from their mailing/emailing list multiple times now and still receive their standard "Robo emails". Carlton sucks at everything but robo emails. Buyer beware! *Update* As of March 2021 Carlton is now texting me regarding my interest on pools. Still not one contact from a real Sales Person.

This is a tough review to write. They did tile and coping replacement on my pool along with a rebuild on my hot tub retaining wall. The work they did looks very very good. That's the good. The bad was: * They were disorganized on when they would show up. At least 3 or 4 times I was told someone would be there and it didn't happen * They left a multitude of screws and bolts in my pool that wasn't discovered until after the pool was filled. * They left garbage and debris in my backyard * I wound up paying over $2,000 more then what I expected.

They miss- quoted me around my valve work. I was told it would be around $300-$400. They charged me $1,200. * I don't remember them telling me grouting would cost an additional $1000.00 and I would have to hire a separate entity to do that. I figured since I was paying the $14K and they took the grout out, they would complete the whole job. So in summary, great craftsmanship, just get everything they say in writing first (especially around money) and inspect things before they leave so you don't have to clean up after them ETC.

My family has experienced exceptional service from Carlton Pools for over 23 years. While we don't live too close to a Carlton Pools, we happily go out of our way to shop there. Not only do they test our water for free, but they also carry supplies for biguanide pools. They just installed a new pool cover for us and we've been very pleased with their service.

I 100% love my pool from Carlton Pools and now that it's colder out we also get a lot of use out of the hot tub they built us. We don't know how we'd get through the winter without it in fact! We had a whole idea in mind for a full backyard pool redesign and Carlton Pools did it all quickly and for a surprisingly low price. This was a couple of years ago.

Ever since we've loved having pool parties in the summer and taking it easy in the hot tub when it's too cold to swim. We would definitely give them a call if we had to start over again.

I was recommended to go to Carlton Pools by a friend of mine last spring. I called them, told them what I wanted, and they were able to get my new pool installed fast. Now that it is fall, I would like to say that my pool is now closed and that I had zero issues swimming or closing the pool this October. I would like to thank them for all of their services, and I highly recommend them to everyone else who needs a customized pool installed.

Before Carlton Pools, I never thought that I would be able to make my vision for a pool come to life. Not only did the sales person I meat with help me see the design I wanted via their software, but everything from the installation itself to those who installed my new pool were great. I can't wait to have everyone over to see it! If you want a company that will truly give you that backyard "Oasis" Carlton Pools is the company you need to call.
