Believe the bad reviews. We were sold a pool in the fall, fully paid for it, and were told it would ship in April. After several calls, we were finally told that our pool does not exist and that it may be manufactured sometime in June. We requested, and were told, that we could have a refund, however after weeks of waiting and several more phone calls we are still waiting for our money.
We had to resort to opening a dispute with our credit card company as we could not get any resolution from any of the handful of employees that we spoke with. BBB says to beware, I wish we would have done more research before buying through them. I can't believe that they can still operate in this manner.

I had been contacting pool suppliers for several months after n my area with no return call. I reached out to Swim Pool Discounters's and Bob called us right back. He answered all are questions and made suggestions which we appreciated. We purchased the pool and it arrived in 2.5 weeks exactly as promised. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Misrepresentation of product with no written instruction or proof of warranty. We were sold a Hercules panel pool kit, with the additional fiberglass stairs (stairs priced at almost $4,000). We were told installation would be "simple". When we got to the installation of the steps we noticed the instructions that came with the steps didn't match our pool types and the instructions that came with the pool didn't include instructions for stairs.
The salesman, Bob, told me I had to speak with a guy from the manufacturing company. That guy told me the stairs weren't designed for this type of pool. To make them work he told us to cut 1/2' off both ends of the pool so it would fit in the opening space. but then said he shouldn't be having this conversation with me because it would leave him liable, and that he was going to get in touch with Bob.
I went back to Bob who said he sent me to the wrong person (he got our pool or stair type confused) and we were told to speak to their professional installer, Joe. Joe told us we would need to cut about a 1/2' off the BACK of each side (not 1/2" off each side as the first guy had told us) in order for it to be the right width to fit into the track and the fact that it was longer than the hole didn't matter. we would just have one side of our pool longer than the other.
The information we had received with the stairs said any modifications to the stairs would void the warranty. The professional pool installer was unable to provide written instructions or address our concerns over the warranty but said he would have Bob contact us. In addition, I sent an email to Bob addressing our concerns and asking for a return on the steps since they obviously weren't meant for this type of pool without serious modifications on our part.
That email went unanswered as did my text message to the professional pool installer with pictures as he had requested. Not having received anything in writing or even clear consistent verbal instructions we opted to install the pool without the steps since we had serious concerns over the impact this DIY'd install of the steps would have on the liner. The pool company refused to refund the steps because "all sales are final".
