So swift put in our pool years ago and I have been spending many hundreds of dollars there every spring and every fall for chemicals. Yesterday I walk in and an immediately charged by a mid-aged blonde woman screaming about a mask. As a note, the store and the parking lot were completely empty. She told me I couldn't shop here without a mask. I said "sorry but I will not, I can go to Leslies right down the street". she said, "Good! Please do". I went to Leslies instead and the parking lot and store was packed and I had no issues there. Easy to see why one lot and store is empty and one is full

We LOVED Swift when we put in our pool (still looks new 4 years later!). We also LOVE the folks that work there. John winterized my pool ALONE and worked as hard as 4 people! I can't say enough about the work ethic of these folks! They always take the time to answer my questions and always give 100%. Thanks Swift Pools and team! Service: Winterization

I am hesitant to post a completely negative review, as we purchased our home with a Swift pool built in 2005/2006. I can say it is in a better condition than others we have seen. Also, their retail store has all of the parts, accessories and highest quality of chemicals. Unfortunately, this is where my positive experience ends. Most recently, I voluntarily called to request my 15 year old pump be replaced with a more energy efficient unit.
After lengthy discussions about the pump best suited for the application, I provided the deposit and remained on the schedule. Day of installation, it was approaching 6pm and no one had showed. I called the store and was told "the techs work until dark" and was nearly hung up on. End result was no call, no show. While I am a very understanding person of priority issues that need to supersede an elective request, I had to reflect on the issues experienced in the 3 seasons with the pool.
When we bought the house, the pool was opened so I have only been through 2 openings and 3 closings. Last season, I found the filter to not be cleaning as well as the previous year. After the crew closed the pool, I opened the filter housing and found the entire filter assembly to be caked in DE and the filter housing still partially filled with water.
I also noticed a leak at my heater during the season last year. This was not noted on my closing paperwork at the end of the season. When the crew showed to open the pool this year, I told them about the leak. It never made the paperwork. During the first backwash of the year, I noticed the chlorinatior was also leaking and the drain plug at the filter leaking.
Neither were corrected or noted during the opening. Further, I found a cigarette butt by the filter from the opening crew. During last year's opening, the crew did a very thorough job, also noting that the filter drain plug was leaking. They replaced the drain plug and also noticed the booster pump lines were in poor condition. They repaired those lines, but didn't ask me about the repair.
The booster pump was used for a cleaner that is no longer used, so those repairs were all done without permission and for no reason. The money charged would have been better spent on removing the pump. I detailed these issues over the past 2 years and have dealt with a very responsive employee, Matt. When Matt wasn't available to discuss the no call, no show issue, Ethan provided further guidance about the pump and was notified of the issues. Ultimately, I was offered to make an appointment to repair the leak and, thankfully, the restocking fee waived for cancelling the pump installation after the tech didn't show for the appointment. Again, the pool has held up well over the 15 years in operation, so they obviously build a good quality pool.
I provide my experience to only help others consider service options if things go awry. Overall a great retail location, Matt is great to deal with and hopefully you all have better experiences than I have.

These people could care less if you buy anything. They act as if you are bothering them when you ask about pricing on pool equipment. I bought a case of pool shock.a little heavy.the kid took my money and walked away. Every other pool place I have been at at least offers to carry it to your car. I still go there because it's close and the quality of their chemicals is good.

I am Anthony Sylvian Pool customer. I was happy with their service until they close down their location. I found Swift Pool. Registered and ever since I am their customer. Free Water test if you purchase any product or it is $5. Helpful staff and they explain what is going on. I think I will get their pool closing and opening service this year. Convenient location

If I could give less then a 1 I would. This company charged me 360 to do a pool opening and all they did was drop off chemicals. They showed up at my house at 5 PM. I was not waiting around all day since they never gave me a time and unfortunately there was no power to the pool. They never called to ask if I was in the area. Like I said they dropped off about 50 dollars in chemicals and charged 360 dollars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. SCAMMERS!

My pool was one of the units Swift Pools first installed back in 1974. I contracted them to change the vinyl pool liner a few years ago on my inground pool and conduct repairs to the wall structure for approximately $8k. This worked well for a few years but the liner started to come off the coping and part of the wall started to lean forward. I called Swift pool and they refused to stand by their work and product. Buyer beware! Damn shame that the local contractor who first installed the pool recommended somebody else correct their mistake!

Swift pools installed our pool in 2010 and did an excellent job at the time with great advice as to location in our yard and size. Since then they have annually closed and opened our pool. However my real reason for writing a five star review relates to our most recent interaction with the Swift Pools team. Our Polaris 380 was not working properly and so I called Swift Pools to ask if they knew anyone who could fix it.
Much to my surprise they said they had a Polaris Technican who could fix it on site. When I picked it up the Polaris pool cleaner worked better than it probably ever has worked. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the repair. It was not cheap but it was pretty much half the price of buying a new one. Personally I do not mind paying for a quality job! So thank you Swift Pool - it is very easy to give a 5 star rating!

They opened my pool on 6/2, It stopped working 6/4. I called 6/5 for them to fix it and they want to charge to come back out and the repair. Not to mention they said they are booked with their last week of opening and would be free next week. They were still concerned with opening yet not concerned with making sure the pool they just opened is working properly.
They could have a least said we will come out and see what the problem is and if easy to fix then fix it but if an unrelated issue to their opening then set up an appointment to fix with charge. Instead they want to charge a despatch fee and a labor per hour fee. Rip off. Nothing special about this family own, small business (aka suppose to be caring company). Poor business etiquette. And some of the 5 star reviews are their employees.
