I've been using SpaInspectors for years. They're the only people I trust when I need help with my pool. Both for sourcing parts for minor pool repair issues, and a few major pool repair disasters. Especially when I needed to replace and upgrade all of my DE filter equipment. Everyone is professional and honest, which seems to be rare in this industry.

Been using Manning for several years now-always very happy with our service. Alan, our current technician, is very thorough, polite, and courteous. I know he consistently gives his best service. You only have one chance to make a first impression.and this one sucked. Made an appointment for a sauna inspection and repair estimate using the company's website which has fields to make appointment time choices, i.e. Morning/Afternoon. They called twice before the day of the scheduled service and when I asked for a time frame to work with I was told on both occasions the repair tech would call and let me know when to expect me.
For an afternoon appointment choice, he showed up at 9:09am and wanted to start work. I was unavailable and asked if he could come back at 10:45 so I could rearrange my schedule. He said he would do another job and then come back. He also said no one uses the appointment form field for choosing a time. Why have it on the website then? Didn't hear from him and called at 2:20pm.
He left after the first job and never bothered to let me know. He said he couldn't wait. When I spoke to the company manager, she was completely unaware that you could book an appointment time frame on the website; she had to go to the actual webpage to see it. Her reaction? No one has ever used that before. The tech said the office should have called, the office said the tech should have called. Does this sound like a company that warrants having a $150 charge just to come by and take a look? I don't think so either. We will not be calling back and advise that unless you like the look of a circular firing squad, you find someone else to work with.

Guy came out to tell me what I already know- that my tub is leaking from the jacuzzi nozzles. On the promise that he would hunt down parts that could fit an American Standard; hardly a unknown name, he disappeared having abandoned the plan- so now its 2 months later and I'm out 90 bucks for nothing. I can't believe I missed these negative reviews or I wouldn't have called them to begin with. Do business elsewhere.

Air button wasn't working. Called spa inspectors and they had a very nice fellow out the same day. My tub didn't have an access panel and he not only got the switch working but installed the access panel. I was very pleased with how efficient he was and with the price. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Terrible customer service. Ordered a part for our Hot Tub and used the number off the bottom. Received the incorrect part but didn't know this until the repair tech was able to come (due to Covid). Tel "Ken" for return/ refund. He refused, even though everything was intact and we had been assured we could return it before ordering. Strongly suggest using another company. Also contacted Balboa who makes the part and advised them and they are checking distributors for poor customer service issues.

Long wait times, poor responses, lacking knowledge. Paid the $89 to have a technician come out. Spent some time discussing some options and said I'd get a quote back for parts they'd replace. Waited a week to get the new quote but had no details, waited another week to get more details on the quote. They wanted to replace a could "guts" on some valves to solve an internal leak which isn't possible to have an internal leak from from that part. Second opinions agreed and got it fixed elsewhere. They are friendly folks just tough to get responses and I respectfully disagree with their diagnosis.

They did not provide a rough estimate in advance like I was told I would receive then they sent the wrong technician to the house (I had to take off work for this). All I needed was for a valve to be mounted to the hot tub and I had purchased the part in advance. Since the wrong technician was sent the valve could not be installed that day. Later I received a quote for the install and it was over $400. I found another spa company that is going to do this for half the price.

Very nice employees but terrible management. Paid for two techs and blue die to find a leak in my hot tub that was never found (almost 300.00) and the manager wanted to charge me an additional 315.00 to clean out the blue die they had put in. They came, accomplished nothing and left a mess behind. I will never use them again.

This co. is worthless. They have been here countless times on a simple leak in my hot tub. This has been going on for months and I'm not getting any closer to having this fixed. This is a warranty repair so the company that is covering the cost should be getting an idea by now as to how incompetent this company is. I strongly suggest you stay away from them if it's out of pocket.

For $89 an inspector came and inspected my aged in-ground hot tub and spoke of all the needed repairs which I was OK with. He said someone would be in contact with me the next day. After no follow-up from them, I called for 2 weeks and finally talked to someone that said he wanted to come and look at the system (only after trying to sell me a new above-ground hot tub). He never showed and never heard from them again.

I have been awaiting a phone call for over 30 days. On my multiple calls to this company they have advised they cannot get the manufacturer to answer though I've called the manufacturer and got an answer multiple times. I have been quoted expensive work that is not needed due to NO communication. Each call I make to them I'm assured I'll get a call the following day, of course that does not happen. My feelings are. if you don't want to do the work let me know. Yikes. Will never use nor refer this unprofessional company.

We recently contacted Spa Inspectors to repair our hot tub. They were very quick to respond and sent Johnny to our home within a few days. Johnny was very professional and provided excellent service. Through conversation, he learned that our jetted bath tub also had an issue. He trouble shot both items and ordered the correct parts. As promised, he returned the next week and both appliances are up and running. Great service at a fair price. I highly recommend this company.

Took weeks after the initial service call and numerous phone calls for them to order parts and schedule a time to do the repair. Once they came out to do the repair they overcharged on the hourly rate. The repairman was only here 2 hours and we were billed 3 hours at 100 plus dollars an hour. Called management and they asked for video proof that the tech was only there 2 hours as they say he was he 4 hours per the paperwork.
I would stay away from the company they are not honest I provided security videos showing the actual time the tech was on site (This was requested by them)showing he was onsite for 2 hours. Since then I have not heard back from them. They seem to be very dishonest and just provide a generic excuse.

Although the technician showed up on time and was professional the price was outrageous! I was charges $89.00 for a service call then an additional $62.50 to install a fuse. The total time was less than 30 minutes. I called and asked why it was so high and was told I WAS GIVEN A BREAK ON LABOR. $151.50 for less than 30 minutes work is robbery. If you use this company be sure of what you are getting.

We are so happy we finally found a company that would fix our outdoor hot tub! The technician was Johnny F. He is a very smart man. He came on time, diagnosed the problem, had replacement parts on his truck. Thoroughly explained the problem. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company for your hot tub or pool.

We bought a La-Z boy spa from spa inspectors and the whole process worked great. The unit itself is amazing and has been a great joy. It's relaxing in the evening and has helped the bit of back pain I had from sitting all day. Spa Inspectors installed all the equipment, cleaned up the the yard well, and showed me how to operate the cover (which was not totally intuitive.) I expect the La-Z boy to last for a long time but whenever we get another spa, we'll use spa inspectors again.

I'm not sure why there is 2 accounts for this company on here. Seems like an error, but I had a positive experience and I thought I'd share it here too. They were great! I think the technician's name was Johnny, and he was great. He was professional and explained what my issue was. It was a circuit board issue, which I wouldn't expect them to have on their tuck. They ordered it and came back out and fixed my problem. I'd recommend them to anyone requiring pool or spa repair.
