The Real Life Of Ashley Ann Rogers

While driving my children to school this morning on cr 218; I had a Eagle Pool Inc truck tailgate me until we got to the passing portion of the road. As I signaled for him to slow down as I was already going 47 miles an hour, he agreely signaled the number 55. I can only assume that he did not realize the speed limit was currently 45 before increasing to 55 because as he passed me he pointed to the speed limit sign that Signified the change in the speed limit as it often does when the speed limit increases and decreases.
Due to the construction at the beginning of the road and the 3 speed limit changes I am sure this gentleman is going to receive a ticket if this is a normal route, so I thought it would be good to let the company know how their drivers are behaving on the road and put in the public at risk. If an animal had came across the road or if I had to slow down for any reason he would have rear ended my car.
I continued my speed of 47 so going any faster would have put me at risk for a ticket and with him trying to go 55 right behind me made him a risk for me and my two kids in the car. He then I leave enough room for a yard stick between us, so I felt it was necessary to share this employees reckless.

2 Year Update: Initially we had faith that Eagle Pools would do the right thing and fix the many issues with pavers, gutters, screen enclosure and drainage. Eagle Pools tried to resolve them, but missed the mark on multiple attempts but we kept the 5 star review believing the owner that the problems would be addressed. Poor installation and bad subcontractors can happen and addressing the issues is what makes a 5 star contractor.
Poor communication and not addressing major problems when they said they would is a serious red flag once you've become and expense vs profit. Communication is a big problem - Warranty work took over 2 years mainly due to the difficulty in reaching this contractor, and when they did respond it took additional weeks/month to look at the issue and sometimes longer to get the subcontractor out after that.
The largest issue by far was the drainage being installed incorrectly, and based on the 1st picture you can see the water would come halfway up our lanai during moderate to heavy rainfall, and the drain was checked/cleared for blockages. Multiple attempts to fix this failed to address the root cause of the problem. The final solution was to add wheelbarrows of sand to raise the covered lanai pavers on the cement foundation which would allow them to raise the center of the drain to move water away from the center and out to the yard.
The drain was originally installed like a " U " so it had to fill up before it would drain, causing what you see in the picture. The solution to add sand under the covered lanai pavers on top of a cement slab immediately caused another problem that we were told wouldn't cause a moisture issue before we agreed. All this sand soaks up any rain, and draws the moisture through the sand all the way across the entire covered lanai to the house.
After rainfall, the covered lanai pavers look like they had been rained on and are soaked (2nd picture). This has caused mold and bug issues as it never dries out. It can't dry out quickly as the water has nowhere to go except up through the pavers over the course of weeks. Eagle Pools refuses to respond and address the original incorrect installation which was done so poorly.
This is straightforward fix to remove all the sand, and lower the drain correctly, adjust the screen and pavers accordingly. If you want to deal with MANY problems during and after installation while building a pool with Eagle Pools, then enjoy the frustration. We'll now have to pay out of pocket to another pool contractor who actually laughed at the Eagle Pools solution to the lanai drainage issue of adding sand vs lowering the drain.
We didn't have a choice in our contractor when we built this pool and house in 2018, but if you do I would choose a more qualified contractor who stands behind their work vs profit.

Two employees from Eagle Pools accidentally knocked over our mailbox on our narrow street with their truck. I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to the honest employees who came with materials and a new mailbox and installed the whole thing again. You don't always see honestly like that anymore and we really appreciated it!

This company needs to work on organization and customer service. I tried to get some work scheduled with them, but they were all over the place and then out of the blue showed up at my house to look at my pool when I was out of town. Maybe they do good work but I never got to find out because of the front end disorganization.
