Broward Solar is a family-owned business with over three decades of solar water heating experience. While you can certainly choose from any number of companies to heat your pool, home, hot water or provide you with service. The team at Broward Solar have the unique experience to handle projects of any scope or complexity.
Florida law forbids any entity-including homeowner associations-from prohibiting the installation of solar or other renewable energy devices on Florida buildings. An association may require approval of a system installation, and may establish restrictions for installations. However, any such restrictions must be reasonable, not arbitrary, and applied in a uniform manner for all association members.
A swimming pool heater increases the value of your home and allows you to get more enjoyment and relaxation out of your swimming pool investment. Naturally, many of us might not go near the pool during the winter months, even if the pool is heated. The air temperature is just too cold for pleasant swimming much of the time.
All you do is set your pool pump's time clock or automation system to run during the daylight hours, then set the solar pool heater's automatic control temperature indicator to your preferred temperature. The control system takes care of the rest. Sensors compare the temperature at the solar collectors with you pool water temperature.

Jim was personable, knowledgable, and diligent. He re-installed our solar hot water system, and went above and beyond to resolve some issues and resolve our problem. Whole-heartedly recommend, if you're looking for that rare combination of experience and integrity. Follow-up: January 2022. Had to have some additional work done. Broward Solar (Jim) showed up on time as promised, and was as prompt, pleasant and professional as ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

They came a little late, work was good, but they unplugged my freezer in the garage to plug in a fan, never plugged it back in. I didn't notice for a few days. Needed to throw out everything. I called to let them know and they said they would get back to me. That was over a week ago. Never got back to me, even to apologize.

My pool solar panels, piping, and thermostat were installed in one day. Jim Coryell, owner, worked nonstop from 7 am to 5 pm and completed the project in one day. Jim did all prep work for me.providing all required information for my HOA and obtained Town permits for me and scheduled town's follow up visit. He uses the best materials with 10/12 year warranties.
On the first full day, my pool temperature was raised 8 degrees. Warmer than my pool has ever been since I moved to Jupiter in 2004. We had a heavenly evening swim that soothed our muscles and brought us so much happiness. I now will be able to heat my pool for 12 months with NO increased electric bills! Thank you Jim. Broward Solar installed our solar pool heater 6 years ago and we've been very happy with the system. It extends the swimming season virtually year-round here in South Florida, especially if you use a pool blanket at night during the winter months. Jim just replaced a leaking panel under warranty at no cost to us. He has always been very responsive when contacted, and he cheerfully performed this work. I highly recommend him and his product.

Jim epitomizes the integrity and work ethic that makes his company so fantastic. He quoted me a price to handle a job, and when the job took him longer then he expected, he refused to accept more money. And of course, the job is done beautifully. While researching solar panels for heating my pool I made contact with Jim, owner of Broward Solar, Inc. At the end of the conversation I decided to purchase my solar panels from Jim and Broward Solar, Inc. Soon after our initial conversation Jim delivered 9 solar panels as well as the necessary mounting hardware. Much to my surprise, Jim spent nearly 45 minutes with me explaining the proper way to do the install as well as sharing installer tips with me.
It should be noted that I purchased the solar panels, not the install service. Within 2 days my solar panels were fully installed and working perfectly. For anyone wanting to install solar panels for the heating of their pool, Broward Solar is the place to go. I've been using Broward Solar for over 15 yrs. They are hands down the best most reliable customer oriented company I've had the privilege to use. When ever I call Jim for service he responds usually the same day or definitely within 24 hrs. His company does some things that set him apart from rest like giving suggestions with what to do if we have a freeze alert etc.

Broward Solar installed a Solar Heater for me a few years ago. The owner Jim was a pleasure to do business with. He did exactly what we discussed and the install was well done. He painted the risers to the roof and the left no mess behind him. I though I had made a Yelp recommendation at the time of installation but could not find it. It is so rare to deal with a contractor that doesn't try to do a sloppy job or short the customer in one shape or form today.
I recommend them very highly. I had explained to him when we discussed the job that I liked my pool my pool around the high 80's or better. It has been in the 90's for the last few weeks. Job well done!

Jim has restored my faith in South Florida contractors. If you're looking for an honest, reliable company for a reasonable price, look no more. My solar pool heater is now working again and he fixed a different issue I didn't even know I had. When I ever need a service that this company provides, I will be calling them.

The cover to our solar panel flowverter cracked. I called all around trying to find someplace I could purchase one. I learned the company that made the part had gone out of business years ago so I would be lucky to find it. The first company I reached offered to install new equipment at a pretty high rate and the next three companies never called me back.
I left a message for Broward Solar and received a call back from Jim later in the day. We told him our story and he said he didn't have a new one in stock but he had just replaced someone's old system in the last couple days and had thrown one away. He said he would look to see if it was still in the dumpster and call me if he found it. I never expected to hear from him again, but must to my surprise first thing the next day he called.
He found a cover and would give it to me free of charge. He also quoted me a much lower price to replace the system if I wanted to do that. The cover did the trick, so for right now we don't need to replace the entire thing. I will for sure be using Broward Solar when the time comes to replace my system. Not only does Jim know all about the solar business he is a great person which is hard to find these days.

We were looking for pool heat pump.and being new to the area we searched many places with not much success until we found Broward Solar. We worked with Jim who not only educated us on a pool heat pump bit was very professional with all the steps of the installation as well as take away the old propane gas heater. Very reputable.
