I've owned an inground pool since the late 90s. I needed a new liner and I called Sebago Lake Pools. Steve, the owner, came to my home and spent 2 hours patiently explaining the entire process from A to Z, including worst case scenario. He and his team did an outstanding job and I am very pleased with the results. The folks at Sebago Lake Pools are very professional, friendly, and more importantly, honest. It was a pleasure working with them, and I highly recommend them.

We purchased an above ground pool from Frost N Flame a little over 2 seasons ago. As of last season, we started to notice that the liner on the sides of the pool had sunk down. We noticed it worsened by this season after the ice melted and we could see. We called to speak with staff at Frost N Flame and we were referred to the owner, Steve - who has since refused to speak with us despite our multiple calls to follow up. Steve has deferred to his subordinates to be messengers -even by admission of his own staff, they don't understand why Steve won't call us back, and validate our frustrations about the poor installation that has caused liner issues. Frost N Flame advertises that Steve is an "expert" and is the one who comes out personally to evaluate the property prior to The installation to ensure appropriate installation.
We remember doing a walk-thru with Steve the year we were going to purchase the pool. Fast forward to today, and now that we have noticed the installation problems (I.e., the sinking liner) we naturally reached out to Frost N Flame for assistance. The staff said they would send someone out to "take a look". Neither of us were contacted about the results of this "look".
When we called back to inquire, we were told by an employee that the liner problem is due to the ground being wet from a nearby gutter (it should be noted that this gutter has been on the house since prior to the pool being installed - and something Steve should have taken consideration, if in fact he, in his expert opinion, thought that it would create a wetness problem not even 2 seasons later).
We referenced our property assessment which does not indicate that we are in a wetland area. A second opinion we received from a separate pool company reported to us that if there was a circumstance of ground being wet on a property, it is a simple manner of the base of the pool being wider and deeper for a wet property - however, our property is not considered a "wet property" despite the excuse Frost N Flame has used to attempt to put the expensive financial burden on us rather than the company who failed to properly install the pool and its base in the first place.
We are not recommending Frost N Flame on the basis of two reasons: (1) Poor pool installation, poor customer service, poor communication, and attempting to place the financial burden on us as the pool owners due to such poor pool engineering and installation; and (2) The owner, Steve, hides behind his employees rather than addresses customer installation concerns himself. There are other businesses that install pools, and we would recommend waking them first before even considering Frost N Flame. If we could offer "zero" stars, we would.

Called about pool pricing on steel or aluminum pools. When I spoke to the owner, he had asked about the spacing where the pool would go (I told him I had my backyard was an acre) Once I had let him know the spacing, he said he didn't have a pool that would fit my needs. He didn't even try to talk me down in sizing. Once I asked for pricing, he wouldnt give it over the phone, but would mail me a packet.
It's almost as if he wanted to refuse my business. After the pricing battle, he had asked me if I wanted install through them. I let him know I had an installer. He quickly changed his attitude and said he could no longer help me. This was an awful experience! I would not recommend doing business here!

I highly recommend Sebago Lake Pools. I give them A+. 5 stars I purchased a pool home that needed major repairs. The in ground pool was in sad shape. My husband being in construction and myself thought we could tackle redoing the in ground pool our selves. Well, that didn't turn out to well. After the liner was taken out we found our selves fixing and chasing which got to be over whelming for both of us.
I went down and talked with the owner and explained my situation. The owner was there the next day accessing the situation and gave me an estimate and other solutions to help me with the costs (as we the homeowners thinking we could save money doing it our selves). The Team went right to working on our pool in between other jobs to help us save the in ground pool.
The Team did an awesome job and I can't say enough how good I have been treated. I will continue to call upon Sebago Lake Pools for any questions, products, service or solutions. Thank You, again for your help!

Called them to open our pool. They came out and identified several things that needed to be repaired (the pool was new to us as new owners of the home), and said that they needed to order parts prior to calling us schedule a repair. They never called, and in addition, gave us bad advice about how to manage a leaking pool pump, which resulted in having to re-open the pool with a different company.
We essentially wasted $400 because of the ill advice this company gave. The customer service at Sebago Lake & Pools is terrible. They are either clueless, or have zero qualms about lying to their customers. Take your business elsewhere.
