I wholeheartedly suggest these folks. They installed our above-ground pool and were really helpful throughout the process. They communicated effectively, worked swiftly, offered step-by-step directions for pool and pump maintenance, and were extremely nice to work with. We'll have a terrific summer in the pool thanks to them!

I've just been using Essig Pools since February. I've owned my pool for four years and have had two poor experiences with other pool services. I am quite satisfied with the quality of service, the honesty of the individuals that perform the job, the high level of expertise required to solve a variety of concerns, and the amount of time they spend working on my pool. Call them right now if you want the finest pool service in this region. You'll be delighted!

Essig Pools just finished building my pool. The owner was incredibly attentive and resolved any difficulties I had. His staff was likewise kind and polite. They are also maintaining the pool, and I am delighted with the service. I am new to pool ownership, and He has responded to all of my inquiries and/or concerns.

Worst company ever. The work they do is very lousy and poor not to mention they time and excuses they give you to try to justify their lack of responsibility. As per pictures, rebar interferes with jets. Water pipes had leaks. They still went ahead and applied the finish to the pool to later realize they made a mistake. Pools has a horrible repair which according to the Manager is is acceptable to them. Stay away from this people. There are other companies that will do a better job!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Over promised and under delivered. It is a real shame that I have to write a bad review for this company. Contracted with them since December, 2020 and to date our pool is no where near completion. We were excited to use Essig and while they were not the most economic we decided to go with them because they were a big reputable company that has been around for a long time. Gone are those days.

Not sure why they are not focused on customer satisfaction anymore. Read through the other recent bad reviews. We can't all be saying the same things in vain. Essig has taken jobs all over and now are unable to handle the delivery of these pools. Yes, they use a lot of sub contractors, yes they come to your house only once a month, maybe less, and yes they will promise you that someone will be out to your house soon and NOTHING!

I am fighting my neighbors and my association every other day over left over construction material outside of my house. We just want this nightmare to be over with. At this point I don't even think I want a pool anymore. Do yourselves a favor save money and tears. Find yourselves another pool company!

Trustworthy, professional, one of the largest/premier pool builders in South Florida. Great pool designers too. Beautiful showroom.

It seems like everyone lately has a horror story about a pool company. It's a sign of the times I guess, with inflation, supply chain issues, labor shortages etc etc. I can tell you that Essig built my pool for the price on the contract. Did it take longer than I would have liked? Yes, but considering what many of my neighbors are going through, I am glad I went with the high bidder that actually delivered a quality product.

Essig was right. They said our pool would be worth the wait and they were right. We purchased right at the start of the high demand for pools. So yes, the process took longer than we expected or wanted. But, the pool and backyard transformation is astounding. We have our on private oasis. Essig stuck with us and has continued EXCELLENT post construction service.

Thank you to Ed for saving us from our bad tile selection, Dan (yes the owner) for spending over 4 hours of your time helping us with our deck layout, Rey for answering ALL our questions as new pool owners, and Elaine for her constant dedication and support. Essig is worth the wait and they have the quality product and service you need.

I wish I can give them a -5 star, the only part of the process that went well with this people was the person who sold me the design (Tim).the execution has been a problem from the beginning. I signed the contract in December, they were clear from my HOA in March and finally in July showed up without even letting me know they were coming, some of the guys drinking beer in my backyard as they were having lunch.

After getting firm with them and telling they have to provide me a schedule they started calling on Fridays to let me know when they were coming and there was several times they told me they were coming and no call no show. They also ended up messing up my entire irrigation system to the point that I will be spending 3k to have a sprinkler system company fix it.

Some of the leaks they created from the sprinkler system is under the floor they installed, but they take no responsibility, so now I'm dealing with it. We are now approaching the end of the year and they are still not done, I had contact all supervisors, the GM Ed Rodriguez and even sent several emails to the owner. So far no resolution. In conclusion if you want stress, lack of ownership, no customer service and a ton of frustration go ahead and sigh a contract with this people.

Call twice for an appointment to have a pool built. I was advised someone would call and never received one. From a business perspective, unacceptable. It indicates if the homeowner have issues Essig Pools would not follow through on their responsibilities or in a timely manner. Having a large hole in your yard for an extended period of time or any concerns about anything and have them not return a call is too concerning. Too much money involved.

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value They were never on time, over promise and under deliver. Pool took almost a year and still cannot finish. They use nothing but outside contractors who don't care about their quality, no Essig employees showed up at all. Poor communication. No regards for customers property. Essig Pools is a company that actually cares! Personal design, quality materials, fast and responsive service. We were a few months out of warranty on a part and they replaced with no charge. Highly recommended. You won't regret.

There goes my kid's summer, yes kids all 6 of them was looking forward to there new swimming pool this summer. My youngest 6 years old was looking forward to her 7th birthday swimming pool party at the end of this month, I got a phone call on Friday 07/16/21 saying they don't know when they are going to finish our pool. I signed a contract with Essig pools 09/20 they started 03/21.at the very end I get a phone call I'm sorry but we don't know when we are going to finish your pool, couldn't tell us if it's another 2 weeks 4 weeks.

They just don't know lol all I can do is laugh about how they do things at Essig pools. Water parks here we come! My little girl will enjoy her birthday. To be continued.

Wow! Met with a carlos (sale's man) this guy didn't seem like he wanted to work at all. Didn't seem like he cared if he got the job or not. Absolutely no effort on trying to schedule an appointment to meet or giving any information on pricing or specifics unless I was going to sign with him to purchase a new pool. Horrible experience.

Essig pools did a nice job creating my pool a number of years ago. Now the pool deck pavers are sinking and they said "they don't do repairs". They did a great job and would like to use them for my new pool at another house but the turn around time to even speak with a sales person is 2-3 weeks.

Essig Pools was referred to me from a friend after I purchased my home back in 2015. My kidney size pool was a hot mess. Essig Pools did a top notch job renovating the whole thing, bringing it up to par, installing my salt machine. I've been with them ever since for service and such over these past 6 years now and I'll never go anywhere else. Best Pool company in South Florida. Highly recommend them.

My name is gabriel abittan.essig pool is a very dishonest company.the first year i complained beacause everithing was sinking, my patio and my deck around the pool went disaster.a man named larry came to see me and told me there is nothing they could do about it.i just retired.did not have the time to take care of this matter.everithing is still sinking due to poor engeniring and dishonesty.the owner came to see me not too long ago to try to extract some more money, his employe larry told me that it would cost $80 000 to fix it instade of helping me. mr essig is lying in his resonse, and should be reported and sued. instade he wants to put the blame on me.very poor constraction and very dishonest people, i am going to see what i could do about it i

Our pool and pool deck renovation was completed in July 2020 and we are still very happy with the results. We wanted to redesign some of the area and TC was very helpful with his recommendations and design details. Our project Manager, Pepe, also helped with design and was always available any time we had questions. We installed a tanning ledge in the shallow end of our pool and chose Florida Gem for the pool surface.

We chose their Artistic Pavers for our pool deck. The design we selected was the Shellock which has sea shells embedded in the pavers. They look great, however, shells are periodically coming out them. We understand that this should be a minor issue and hope that the pavers are now settled enough so that this ceases. I will update the review in 6 months or so to let you know if this still occurs.

They have other Artistic Paver designs if this is a concern to you. We are happy with the Artistic Pavers in that they are not slippery when wet, don't stain easily, not prone to mildew/algae build up and are not too hot even after long term exposure to the sun. For a project of this magnitude, we didn't expect everything to go perfectly.

There were some minor obstacles along the way, but TC and the staff at Essig did an excellent job of making corrections and ensuring their work was completed with high quality results. It was obvious that they cared about our satisfaction with the project and I commend them on great customer service.

Elaine is just a wonderful person. She does everything in her power to to resolve any issue you may have. She is always pleasant, understanding and extremely helpful. The Essig team really goes out of their way to do the most they possibly can to help you when you need it. Not only did they build us a beautiful pool, the Essig team stays with you long after the pool is built. I highly RECOMMEND them.

No work to review but I'm placing 1 star because I was able to reach a person by phone who said that their turnaround time to get a phone call back regarding a quote I requested is 7-10 days. Well, it's been 14 or so days and I have yet to get that phone call which will likely not to come. Thank goodness for Calypso, they have Gladys who seems so knowledgeable and good at what she does.

She gave me so much information. I was hoping to talk to someone from Essig since I know they've been in the business for so long although I understand with Covid, everything is slower than ever. How about an email or a text or a phone call saying we will be right with you in another week or so instead of just being quiet. Makes you want to just forget Essig and go with the other company.

Essig just finished our pool build and we are thrilled. They were super busy when we first requested our quote, and it took a few weeks to receive a visit from Miguel (one of the designers), but it was well worth the wait. The entire team, Miguel from designing to Lugo the construction supervisor, have been great. The overall process took about 4 months, and the main delay was a few weeks because the decking we wanted was on back order - otherwise, they build this super quick.

Construction team throughout the process was super friendly and answered all of our curious questions we threw at them. Will continue to recommend Essig to anyone considering building a pool.

This is an incredible company. The time and investment is well worth it when you think of all the things that goes into building a pool and Essig makes it simple and they work with you every step of the way. But building a pool is not the end of it. Just the start. The absolute best customer care you can find is from Essig. I don't mean the name, the name is Elaine!

She is totally dedicated to making sure that your experience when you start enjoin your pool is carefree. Just like it should be. Tim was my service technician and he is now in sales. He is very knowledgeable about all things pools, even high tech like mine. He will always give you the best advise. If you happen to talk to him, ask him about his "trailer queens!" LOL

Absolutely amazing experience! They finished our pool very quickly. The office staff was amazing and extremely attentive with updates every Friday. Highly recommended!

I would put no stars but not an option. I called them requesting a quote. no one able to come to house due to COViD - which I understand and they requested my address and picture of my survey. 2 weeks never received a call back so I called them again. a manager got on the phone and said rudely "you have no space fir a pool". I'm like excuse me. yes I do as everyone in my neighborhood is approved for no more than 400Sqft. he said well there's no space.

I said look sir I'll just take my business somewhere else clearly you don't want to work and don't need the business or $35,000 it would cost. And then I hung up. I received quotes from calyspo pool Gladys which was very nice for a 10x26 and the Henry from gables pools for a 12x28 which is who I went with. Eddie pools as no business ethic or customer service skills. Would never recommend

I would definitely recommend Essig Pools. The pool design by Carlos was perfect. How the design took into account how the pool will look in the backyard, from inside the house, etc. is a key part of going with Essig Pools. The design process was excellent. Once I visited their showroom, I noticed that I was dealing with a serious company and that they are extremely professional.

I never really noticed other peoples' pool until my project was complete. When I compare my pool to other pools, I realize that my pool is well designed, modern and amazing! Their construction crews was very professional and the project was completed very quickly. The customer pool training, their customer support, weekly construction and permit updates on Fridays, how they promptly addressed questions I've had, etc., were again, fantastic.

The main thing I liked was that I was worry free because Elaine was constantly communicating with me on the status of the project. I did not have to call to find out what was going on or the next step. I knew there was a call on Friday with an update. Before going with Essig, I asked around, like anyone would. I've heard horror stories of contractors taking people's money and disappearing.

I've heard of other contractors that take your deposit and then take a long time (as long as year or more) to finish your pool, etc. That is the reason I went with these guys. No headaches related to the construction or permits. I definitely got my money's worth. Would recommend highly.

They built our pool ten years ago. Anytime it needs service they schedule the tech to come and I feel like they're always honest and straight forward. The work gets done quickly and neatly. We've been very happy.

Built my very large pool with essay pools, used their Shell interlocking pavers, deal with a few people, one rude, one all business but mostly and in general Essig pool people were great, specially Dan Essig (owner) and Elaine, Joe B and I believe Armando was the other guy.our pool is 13 years old and never ever still haven't ReDiamond Brite the Surface, never.!

The Heater (Aqua Cal) still here.! one of the pumps ( Water Sheers) still working, alive and kicking.! not a crack, nothing.all i've done in this 13 years is added Salt to the Salt system and the necessary Chemicals like Muriatic Acid, Algae preventer Etc, etc.this pool have been though 5 Hurricanes, here in West Pembroke Pines and its been flooded and the pavers still almost intact and with almost no issues.

Mr Essig himself came at 7 in the morning the day of the Excavation and then again.something you will not see happen with other Companies.yes, Essig pools is on the expensive side, but is worth every penny of it.called 5 pool companies in the Area. Pool Builders sent me this Drunk who sat on my dinning room and without telling him a F word he drew me a kidney pool to his F taste.! i hate Kidney pools.! bcs is the type of pools most people can afford and they are small and cheap. I wanted a Roman Slyte 42x20 with extra large spa, sam lights, sheers, two pumps, heater, sun shelf bottom line, everything extra large and they did an outstanding job. there was another pool people at the house.

Blue Heaven, well.the SOB salesman stoled $2000 from us and disappeared but because im a sherlock holmes type of person, i found him in a boca community and left a message on his phone, his wife extremely apologetic was very sorry and we met me and him at the Boca mall and he gave me my $2000 back.another company from pompano told us that the type of pool we want it they were going to have a lot of issues building bcs is was an extra large pool and they usually " dont built pools like that" (Wow.?) ladies nd gents, Essig pools is the Rolls Royce of Pools in South florida as Blue Heaven was or still is in California. Integrity, professionalism, ?charisma, Quality. u people that had issues with Essig pools think about what really happened, how did u approached them, were u ready to built? there are many things, very important thing that u should know when choosing a pool builder and Believe Essig pools and Dan Essig has done extra Quality work in South Florida forever.right now, i have a little issue with the cell. Beware of Essig Pools! We had our pool renovated costing over $50K and chose Essig Pools thinking they were reputable and honest - NOT. First they did not complete job by the time promised, their workers are sloppy and perforated pipes which resulted in leaks that had to be repaired after the new deck was installed (twice), and even now they refuse to fix another leak claiming the warranty has expired and they were told for months of the leak but refused to do anything about it.

They used old equipment we had instead of replacing with new equipment, and made us pay extra for it, which should have been included in the hefty price they charged. In all, truly a very bad experience and we do not recommend them! I am sure you can do much better with some other company that actually cares for their customers! We are posing this in the hopes that other people don't have to go through the many disappointments we went through with Essig Pools!

We used Essig to put in our new pool this last year. The entire process with Frank was a breeze from start to finish. He had wonderful design ideas for both the pool and the landscaping. They take care of everything and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Would not hire them again never! HAD dark SPOTS come out second day after construction was done at bottom of the pool which they were never able to explain. 8 years later i have gone through about 8 electrical boards and 6 cells which is not normal. I called them for repair because i didn t know better and they would sell me new equipment which cost me a fortune every time and yet 1 year later i was having issues again. Well finally hired SUBURBAN POOL STORES and they fixed my pool with a logical explination WITHOUT making buy new pieces of equipment and for 1/4 of the price. Never again, .

Closing on a property in July. It may have been a tad early, but I wanted to get a head start on pricing our future pool. I reached out to several other companies that refused to call me back assumingly because we were still in the closing process. When I contacted Essig Pools, the upbeat receptionist gave me the common phrase, "A member of our team will contact you within 24 hours." At this point I was ready to give up but to my surprise, not only did a salesman, Ray, call us in the timeframe she gave, but we were able to set up a meeting the same week.

I was truly impressed with Ray, he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. My initial plan was to shop around for pricing but after our meeting, I will not let anyone else build my dream pool.

I have known and worked with Dan of Essig Pools for a while and he has been a please to do business with. He has a ton of knowledge and experience in the pool industry and has been honest in our business dealing. If you need pool construction or other related services I recommend Essig Pools.
