I called to get an estimate on resurfacing my pool. The guy answered the phone asked what city I was in and I said Palm harbor. He asked how many gallons, I said $12,000 he says $8995. I said how can you price the pool without seeing it. I said do you even know what kind of surface I want. Do you know id I want tile? He says that would be extra and hung up on me? How is this guy in business?

Mike Melton came to our home and surveyed our pool. He listened to what we wanted to do and gave his expert advice on how to do it. His quote was in writing and even included 'what ifs' so that we were fully prepared for the process and the cost--complete transparency. His crew showed up when he said they would, worked efficiently, and were done on time. Mike was a phone call away for any questions and his crew cleaned up after themselves so that it was cleaner than when they arrived.
The best part--there was no up selling after the fact. The price was the price, was the price. We would happily use them again on our personal home and I always recommend them to my clients.

Mike Melton and his team were beyond our expectations! We hired Bikini Pools 2 years ago for our pool pavers. They knocked out the job in 2 days. We hired them again recently to resurface our pool and he had a team of people here and had that finished in 2 days of work (one extra day to let the pool settle before tile). They are extraordinary!

Mike Melton and his company did a terrific job putting in Travertine stone on the pool deck. They also completely redid the pool including a new skimmer return which was leaking. We had a big selection of stone surfaces and his crew came in and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Mike also did a good job aurpervising his crews and did it all in less than 2 weeks!

We hired Mike Melton of Bikini Pools because he seemed like he ran an honest, independent small business and his quote was among the lowest we received from 4 other contractors. Not only did he not finish the work, he increased the bill ($800) due to his mistake in calculating the amount of pool tile we needed. He also attempted to have us pay $299 for shipping the travertine, which we paid to the travertine supplier. Mike became very verbally abusive when I disputed paying him the extra $800 and got in my face in an attempt to bully me.
We reluctantly paid the "Final Bill" in full because we were going out of town for 10 days the next day and we felt bad that he "needed to pay his guys." He signed the final bill stating that the job would be completed, however, when we got back to our home, work was not done and Mike advised that I had to pay him an additional $250 to get the work completed. Notwithstanding the issues above, the workmanship was very poor and we need to have another company come out to fix/replace the deck drain, install tiles and likely replace some of the travertine around the deck drain. STAY AWAY!
