Gulfstream Pools built my custom design pool in 2013, I can honestly say if you want your pool done professionally with top quality materials at a great price, "GO SOMEWHERE ELSE" this company "Doesn't Care About You, Only Your Money". As you can possibly see from the pictures included that the pavers are crumbling to pieces the owner of Gulfstream Pools came to my house and refused to take ownership of this cluster-bomb of a garbage for quality pavers. Save money, time, heartache, pain and suffering "GO SOMEWHERE ELSE" and get it done right!

While this company does deliver a very nice pool, the communication process has alot of work to be done. We had some opportunities after the build that went unseen, some dismissed, most fixed since I had to be the squeeky wheel. I'm still a bit bitter as to the paver job as I've seen your teams do better. Your crew came through and fixed all the opportunities from the build and I believe firmly they will back their build for many years to come.

Please put more effort into communicating with your clients to the build process. While we understand unforeseen opportunities with material shortages, some of us like hearing when and what the next process will be. You design great products but your consistency lacks job to job. I wanted to edit this about 11 months after our final product. If you're looking for a company that lacks communication this is your pool company.

If you want a company that doesn't care that much about the final product, this is your pool company. We have followed instructions for care of our pool to the T. We and others I know who have built with them are experiencing the same opportunities with salt and calcium deposits in our pool. I have emailed you twice with ZERO response. My review for this company stands at a 1 star.

No begging for a change Tim. I'll spend my hard earned money with a pool service wishing you would have figured out this issue in the first place. Blocked is any further communication unless it's a warranty opportunity. Buyer beware!

We had a pool installed by gulf stream pools, which after 10 month was completed November 1st. We had terrible communication the entire process. We also failed inspections I believe 14 times, often requiring myself or my wife home during the 4 hour inspector window. We have made 3 separate contacts to have 2 major problems resolved. First the spa water drains out due to a faulty valve and second our heater does not work. I am at my wits ends to get this resolved. I am going to have to pay another pool company to fix gulfstreams problems.

Affordable pool company! Gulfstream was quick to install our pool, but we have been trying to find out where water is leaking from our pool. It's been a few months trying to solve the problem with Leak Wizards. Hopefully able to fix soon. Other than that- good for the price and was quick to put in. Update- the leak was fixed. The floor drains and the skimmer were not sealed.

Top notch pool construction company. They delivered exactly what we wanted for our outdoor oasis in a timely and professional manner. Thank you Clint and Ted True professionals!

No complaints! We have a beautiful pool and every phone call was returned, starting from the sales team to the construction team to the office staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we loved our pool. Excellent company! Thank you Gulfstream!

First time pool owners. Construction took place during COVID and lasted approximately 5 months. Bob was very knowledgeable and professional, designing our pool exactly to the way we envisioned. I spent a full week researching all the different pool construction companies that would service my area. ALL the companies in this region had multiple negative reviews but Gulfstream had fewer than all others so we went with them. Needless to say, we're not 100% satisfied with this company. IF you do choose this company, do not use Scott as your salesman.

He is like a used car salesman. He'll talk an excellent game up front but when the tire meets the road and discrepancies come up(AND THEY WILL), he'll LIE through his teeth about what he told you at the sales table. And forget about talking to Scott directly after the initial sales gimmick. He never returns ANY calls regardless of numerous email or v/m's.

The subcontractors they hire will bust things in your yard amounting to hundreds of dollars, like concrete curbing and riding lawn mowers but Ted, the site manager will not make ANY repairs as promised. His attitude is "oh well". The only person at Gulfstream willing to go the extra mile is the co-owner, Tim Tennant. He DID make SOME things right.

I believe he's just unaware of his incompetent employees and the lies they tell him. I will say after 9 grueling months full of headaches and delays, as for the pool itself, that part, I couldn't be happier with. The majority of their subcontractors did do a good job on the overall completion. That's the only reason I didn't give it only 1 star! Just don't expect this company to surprise you with going that extra mile or CARING WHAT YOU THINK! Just one couple's opinion.

If you're looking to spend thousands of dollars on a broken pool, go with Gulfstream! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE POOL COMPANY! We had our pool finalized the first week of August 2020, and I've had leak repair consultants come out FOUR TIMES in the past four months. We are still battling with Gulfstream to repair this leak that they can not seem to repair.

We lose over an inch and a half of water a day. Hundred of gallons of water leaking everyday. I can't seem to have them repair my pool. They sold me a broken pool and are unable to effectively fix this situation. Terrible company. DONT waste your time or money with Gulfstream Pools. If they can't build pools correctly the first time, they shouldn't be installing pools at all.

I was very diligent researching pool companies and ultimately decided on Gulfstream pools. We clearly made the right decision. Great service, highly quality work and equipment, competitive pricing, and responsiveness best describes Gulfstream pools. From start to finish, we found the front-line staff at Gulfstream extremely knowledgeable and our Sales Rep gave us really good "ideas" and "things to consider" during the process which allowed my wife and I to make all the right choices. Considering this was our first time building a new pool, we were so grateful and appreciative of our Sales Rep (Gary), as well as, Ted (Site/Project Manager) who played an instrumental role helping to guide us through the entire process. Additionally, I was pleased with the fact our Sales Rep kept kept in touch with us and was ALWAYS available if/when we had questions during the build process Once the pool was built, we were fortunate to be introduced to Gordon who came out to "start up" our pool -- Gordon is humble, friendly, responsive, and most importantly, has deep-knowledge about pools in terms of water specs, equipment, and the ScreenLogic web application.

Thanks to Gordon, I quickly became an expert on how to operate our pool and how it functions. In terms of QUALITY, Gulfstream is undoubtedly the best in the business. I've had other contractors at our house after the pool was built and they all wanted to know "who built your pool" and made comments about "quality of paver cuts being perfect", "amazing pool design", "clean installation of pool equipment".

My wife and I are beyond satisfied with the final product and without hesitation, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Gulfstream pools. Great company, with great people, and even in the mist of COVID, they were able to exceed our expectations!

Installed pool/spa with travertine decking late 2017. The end result and work quality is very good. However, the sales and installation experience was painful. Sales guy didn't listen and didn't educate. just wanted us to do what he liked; several change orders resulted from that. Initial pool location was measured incorrectly, having us place pool house in a spot that would ultimately violate setbacks.

That was grand in architect fees to have the pool house plans revised. Once the project started is when I realized everything is subcontracted out, so the Project Manager became the super critical component to make this all work. Unfortunately, he was overworked and under appreciated, and boy did it show in attitude and attention to detail. I had to walk a tight and unpleasant line with him for the next five months to ensure things were done right.

The man who owns this company came to our house in November took measurements and a copy of our survey and I never heard from him again. I called their office a few weeks later front desk said he would be in touch ASAP, never heard from them again. Called them in February and she told me oh he didn't call you? He'll call you today. Never heard back from them again. Total waste of time.

I have seen some of the poor reviews and honestly don't get it. I happen to be a Florida Certified Building Contractor and my experience with Gulfstream was excellent. They were prompt in providing their quote and were accurate in all of their predictions about the time to construct. There were a few minor issues during the construction; i had to ask them to come out and clean up after some of their subcontractors left things a bit messy.

There immediately came out to do the clean up. After the pool was operational there were a few minor punch list items that were handled in an appropriate amount of time. I can only say that my experience with Gulfstream was excellent and I would definitely encourage they be considered when contemplating a pool build.

Didn't even got to a quote on the phone with a sales agent basically he ask when I'm planning to build the pool if is not right away he can't come to the property and give me a proper quote because they are too busy and just sound it like I was wasting his time.

We put down a deposit early FEB. Our sales person said the pool would be done the end of April. We are now ending May. There has been several times where weeks have gone by with no one here working on pool. Keep in mind it's 10x20 pool. The pavers have been sitting in the yard for a week now and not one has been touched. There is always some excuse.

Lack of communication and lies told about why there hasn't been any progress. We had friends that referred us to this company. They made the deposit in Dec. Told the pool would be done in March and they finished in May. Hopefully, the end result will be worth the time and money invested! Be cautious when using this company!

My husband and I had a pool put in about a year ago by Gulfstream. We chose Gulfstream thanks to a recommendation from a couple at our gym. Our designer was Scott, the project manager was Ted, and Kevin has been on the service side. Scott came out and measured and then presented us with a design within our initial budget. Naturally, we wanted to change things - upgrade the tile, raise the spa, etc - and Scott was great about listening, making our requested changes, and communicating in a timely manner.

After we signed on the dotted line, Gulfstream got to work about contacting the city as well as Duke since our backyard has some power lines near the property. The wait to BEGIN the work was the longest part! (and completely out of their control! Thanks St. Petersburg.) However, once work began on the construction they didn't waste any time -- the first equipment arrived at our property on January 7th, 2018.

We were able to get into the pool and swim February 26th! Ted was always quick to respond to concerns we had along the way - people were even on property to get work done on the weekends. I was so concerned that this would drag on for months, that I would have to chase people down with questions, and that additional charges would pop up. None of that happened!

Every morning I would go out and check out the progress - such attention to detail. Kevin from their service department came out and instructed me on the chemical checking and how to use all of the equipment. He truly is amazing! At first, I had several questions which he answered via text right away. Then, about a week ago, I noticed the pump was making a weird noise.

The skimmer wasn't pulling anything and I couldn't switch the system over to spa. I had a clog! It was a Sunday - I texted Kevin to have him put something on the schedule for me Monday or early in the week. Instead of just doing that, he spent the day over text messages and calls instructing me on potential ways to clear everything - but to no avail.

He came out on Monday himself and helped clear things up. Truly the best service. I have since recommended Gulfstream to several people myself. They had the same experience that we did! UPDATE: A second set of friends have used Gulfstream and again, amazing service. I can't speak highly enough about Kevin in their service department.

I saw their sign on my neighbors lawn. Thinking great! Let me give them a try. I called to get an estimate on a new project that I wanted done. The woman was very short with me. Every water feature I mentioned, she told me they didn't do it. I was looking at their website when I called and it says waterfall. I guess they wasn't interested in my money.

People. We have to tell ya GULFSTREAM POOLS AND SPA.ARE AMAZING from start to finish.each contractor that came for each different part of the installion.they were all professionals.also thanks to GARY NETWAL. from the phone call last year to final inspection.true gentleman his word is gold! My family and I are so so so happy with our pool and spa. thanks Laurie n everyone in the office!.thanks Scott!

Also Ted also the Tile and coping install crew Im gonna say Don? AWESOME! ALSO THE STEEL CAGE INSTALLATION GUY BEFORE THE SPRAYING OF THE GUNITE.I BELIEVE HIS NAME WAS JULIAN.?. BIG BIG AWESOME DUDE HIS WORK IS REALLY WELL AND HE WAS EXTRA tedious and meticulous when He was installing the undercage?. And steve from screen enclosure crew! Fuuuuny guy.they all were!

We are thrilled with the workmanship, contractors & overall construction of our pool. It took a little longer than expected., worth the wait. It wasn't because of permits or weather, lack of enough contractors & so much business. We found communication was a bit of an issue in the end. I highly recommend Gulfstream Pools if you are thinking about a new pool. Be patient~Everyone who see it, loves it!

Very unprofessional. I've called twice to get my project time setup and never got a call back. I will never recommend them and will never use them.

In 2014 Gulfstream retiled and resurfaced our pool and spa, resurfaced the pool deck and lanai with travertine, installed a new water heater and pump. Recently our pool light went out, within a week of calling, it was approved under warranty and a new light installed. We have been very satisfied with their products, workmanship, and service.

Scheduled an appointment with Bruce for 10 am this Saturday. My wife and I got there at 9.58 and he was already speaking to other customers. It is okay, but he didn't even apologize or ask someone on his team to assist us. Waited until 10.25 and left, as no one bothered to help us. This is very disrespectful, will not do business with them.

Blew us off for our initial appointment we had scheduled for over a week. Don't bother with them. Move on.

Love my pools! Yes, POOLS! Tim & Ted did two pools for my husband and I in the past 12 months. One re-model in the home we were selling and one in our new home. They turned out fabulous! I highly recommend using them. Tim's years of experience proved valuable when we weren't exactly sure of pool placement, and scale. He nailed the design. All of Gulfstream's sub-contractors are excellent at their craft. Andre', the paver installer, is a true artist.

He took his time to install Shellock pavers on my very difficult - non-square patio. Ted was on top of everyone and saw the job through to completion. We couldn't be more thrilled. Thanks guys! A+

Looking to build a pool I sent in 2 requests via their website and no response then I said let me call them I spoke to woman in office and she confirmed they got my info I told her no one had called me and I am looking to get info she said I could call back or she could put me through to the salesmans voicemail then I left a message and surprise no call. If this company is this lax nowwhat will they do after they have my business no way not professional.

My family decided to use Gulf Stream pools to install our pool bc of great referrals from our neighbors. We LOVE our pool. I couldn't be more disappointed in the the customer service. From the start we went through 3 sales men who were not eager to help us design or build our pool. I could go on and on but will leave it at that. After a complaint I did get a salesman willing to help us without issues.

At this point we just wanted it done. No negotiating on price and took all of his recommendations thinking it we just wanted it to be a smoother experience from there. That couldn't be more wrong. They didn't install the correct equipment and everyone blamed each other for the fault. We didn't get what we ordered and the labors here instead of listening to us did it anyway.

The excavators destroyed the neighboring community property which we now have to pay to re-sod. They promised us and we WELL payed for a 6 inch wall at the end of the pool that wasn't built using the materials we wanted and the mesh will not last a year bc of its poor quality resulting in dirt going into our pool. This concern was brought to my salesman many times to only be COMPLETELY ignored.

Our only tree in our yard in still sideways from them hitting it and not repairing it during the build. We never received directions from our sales associate on anything. We still haven't gotten a CO from the city. I couldn't be more stressed and dissatisfied in a company that has zero interest in customer concerns and interest. Yes our pool is beautiful! I'm in sales and would NEVER NOT respond to my clients needs and concerns!

I just hit my one year mark in my new home with my new pool! I am still in awe everyday at the final result. I had a vision of the design when I went to Gulfstream Pools. I have used Gulfstream for 2 new builds and a re-model. They used their 3D software to make my vision become a reality. Once the designs were finalized, I picked my materials and was given timelines of permitting, start date, completion date, etc. Luckily, we weren't delayed due to any rain or harsh weather conditions. Tim, the owner checked on my property weekly and I was sent updates along the way.

I was very grateful that they had flexibility and allowed me to make a few changes halfway through the project. In the end, the resort pool of my dreams had been created! I wish we weren't having so much rain this season so I could enjoy being in my pool more often. I have recommended Gulfstream to several of my friends needing remodels and will continue to do so! Great local business!
