Schedule a meeting with the President of Sunshine Pools, Steve Marino, and you will never meet a "salesman." First, as a Florida Certified Pool Contractor, he is capable of recognizing if the site location will adequately meet codes and set-back requirements. Second, 31 years of hands-on experience in swimming pool construction assures that your custom designed swimming pool will function and perform to the highest standards.
If the Swimming Pool Contractor will not or cannot provide you with any of the following information - Beware. Proper licensing and insurances are expensive, they expire and they prove completion of continuing education requirements. Licensing protects you. The most common problem you will find is that the Qualifier or License Holder is not related to the business.

Disappointed with attention to detail. Normally would not write a review, but in this case I am just angry. Hired them to refurbish my existing in ground pool. At the end of the day the work was done satisfactory, but they are just so not there. Come and go without warning, and definitely try and do as little as possible. Just not professional and it shows, all you have to do is look.
My biggest complanint was that after job was completed I discovered that accessories that were part of the deal were not left on site. Could not get a call back and finally just gave up. Once your check has cleared good luck on getting in touch with them. I was trying to save a few bucks so I took a chance on them, poor decision. I would not recommend these folks, a few dollars is not worth the aggravation. Jon P.
