Surfside is 10/10. We have had the BEST experience using them for our pool. They delivered everything they promised and we're so pleasantly surprised with the quick timeline and turnaround they provided us. Scot and his team are honest, provide excellent customer service and we will recommend them to anyone looking to build a pool!

Mike was not professional what so ever. We paid for pool service to have our pool cleaned and all he discussed with my wife was his medical conditions. I will not disclose her name/last name due to the hospital she works for- Privacy since she's a MD. We wanted our pool cleaned and she was bombarded about medical questions regarding a thyroid issue and weight loss.
As well he was taking pictures of birds, amphibians, and our beach front property. Where is the privacy? The professionalism? Absolutely inappropriate. I do not recommend this company. Uncalled for! (The account is in my wife's name) Ridiculous!

Called SurfSide pools to schedule them to come out and install a new heater for my pool and Jacuzzi. From the first phone call all the way through the install, my experience was amazing. They were very competitive on the price, customer service was prompt and courteous, install team did a great job and explained things very thoroughly. I have since recommended them to other friends who shared the same experience. Thanks Scot and your amazing Team!

Recently purchased a home with a pool that needed some love. All of the equipment was in poor condition. Pumps not working. Heater was broken. Electrical issues. You name it and our pool needed it. We called surfside and everyone was extremely helpful. They sent Jake out to estimate the work. Very reasonable price. Their office staff followed up with scheduling and they even did a demo for us on how to use our equipment and what to turn off if issues arise. They were quick, efficient and our pool is looking great.

They have been better in the past, but recently they seem to have lost their customer focus. What company installs a $2600 pump and controller and then has you call the manufacturer to set it up? They should be doing that. And they used to. As a customer since 2004, I am disappointed in the direction they have taken.

Called to get a estimate for new pool. Attempted twice to get someone to call me and no one ever did! So if you need a company that will call you back- won't happen. The receptionist was rude both times. Heard an individual yelling in the background of my second call! A friend was sitting with me listening to the second call and couldn't believe how rude the receptionist was!

We recently finished completion of our third pool with Surfside. David had been our salesman previously and Melody was building the first pool with us. Both were great to work with. David visited our site, before any construction began and came up with some great ideas. He was very flexible on our needs and changes during the project. Along the way, there were many challenges as there are in any construction project, but they were both on top of things right away. Melody came out nearly every day of construction to make sure things were going well.
And David didn't stop after the sale was made. He visited the project multiple times and got involved when extra help was needed. We had a few topographic challenges, but they came up with a great solution that turned out better than we imagined. We talked with the other big name pool builders in Jacksonville, but Surfside was the only one who was responsive, interested in what we wanted and very competitive on price. I highly recommend them.

Recently purchased a home with this pool. It had stains on the bottom that we couldn't get up no matter what we tried or who we asked. I was embarrassed to have people over to swim because it looked uninviting. Surfside sent over their service manager and he was able to figure out the cause and solution. That was a Friday, and by Tuesday the job was done. They drained the pool and performed an acid wash to remove iron and copper staining. Now it looks brand new. Very happy with the service and results.

We are extremely pleased with our new pool from Surfside. From the sales representative, Gary to all the different skilled trades folks, office staff, Susan, Nancy, and the construction manager, Keith, were very attentive and professional. The construction manager was always here checking on the different stages of the development. We would highly recommend this company for their honesty and making sure all our concerns were addressed. We selected Surfside Pools to design and build our new pool. David Benjamin designed just what we wanted with a small pool and fire pit. Negotiations were easy and the price was fair. Nancy did a great job letting us know each week what was scheduled to be done. Mel did a great job supervising the work. Bill is doing a great job with the weekly service. I'm very pleased and would recommend them.

I was asked to edit/remove my review by the company, instead of being asked how our experience can improve in the future with the company. The pool looks great, in fact, is beautiful, and our baby loves splashing in it. No issues there. Just disappointed with how the construction went about. The stucco wall was the incorrect dimension, and our HOA was after us.
The autofill system was somehow omitted during initial construction, during hurricane season. Once installed we had to revise it again as it was poorly installed, and I was told the company usually would have charged us for this revision, which doesn't make sense and is wrong. We had to re-sod the backyard. The project coordinator was patient and always very pleasant with us.
I commend her for this. It would have been nice, however, for the owner to hear our concerns firsthand rather than get the run-around by his other associates, which is what happened. Overall: Pros- nice looking pool, construction management was courteous always. Cons- poor planning on their part, and lack of communication with the owner. Not how customers should be treated.

I had SurfSide acid wash my pool. The front office was very helpful and scheduled an onsite appointment right away. The service manager answered all my questions before we began and helped me understand what the process would be. The team showed up when they were supposed to and were very professional and knowledgeable. The work they did totally transformed my pool! I cannot say enough good things about this company. I will definitely be using them again.
