I have used Aqua Specialists for services for my in-ground salt water pool. Great company. Highly recommend.

Tried to hire Aqua Specialists last year to replace the liner in my pool after buying my house. They gave me the run around for weeks and said they would come out and look at it, they never did. I finally called them and asked why they did not want to come out and give me a price for the liner replacement. The lady on the phone said they "would never come out to my property again" because the previous owner (who passed away) had an outstanding invoice.

I explained to them how I was a brand new owner and had no ties to the man that lived there previously. I even offered to pay all the cost upfront. I also tried explaining the importance of building quality relationships with new customers. They still refused to give me an estimate and work on my pool, which is their right. However, I was extremely disappointed in them and used someone else who did an excellent job.

This would've been a great opportunity for Aqua Specialists to build a lasting relationship with me but they burnt that bridge and wasted my time. They should've told me their reasoning at the beginning instead of giving me the run around for several weeks.

Called them on Monday as my pool pump stopped working explained problem as best I could. They got me in on Tuesday polite and professional as expected and they had the part on the truck and were done in a 1/2 an hour. These guys are good! Thanks.

Really great personal service by the owner. He got our new liner ordered and installed in 2 weeks! They were professional during the installation unfortunately his employees are awful. We've been waiting weeks for Bob or Steve to look at our pool cover so we can make the necessary adjustments to close the pool and are now we're into several weeks of no shows.

STAY AWAY! I would give them negative stars if I could. Unprofessional group of people out to rip you off. First, they missed a broken ladder in the pool during home inspection. Spoke to someone on the phone and they stated they will cover for it, still got billed for it. Called back and someone else blamed us for the broken ladder. Same scenario as others, 2 guys, one following the other around not doing anything, inexperienced. Ridiculous charges and would show up randomly without notification to service equipment. Clerk is always clueless and rude. Please find someone else. I'm glad I did. Has been smooth sailing ever since.

My wife and I are under contract to purchase a home in Carlisle, PA and John from Aqua Specialists, Inc met me at the house to inspect the in ground pool. We have never owned a pool before so John educated me in the upkeep and gave us a VERY comprehensive report about the condition of the pool. We are under a time constraint with getting inspections completed.

I called Aqua Specialists and the very next day they did the inspection! These guys are the BEST! Looking forward to John and the crew at Aqua Specialists maintaining the pool for us for years to come!

I had the same situation as Donna. Two guys, one following the other around not doing anything. Charge over 500 dollars to open a simple pool. They Charge quadruple the price for chemicals when I had all of them in my garage. Biggest rip off. The average cost to open a pool is 200-300 bucks. I will longer use them

Aqua Specialists came out to open our pool and charged us over $500. When I called them about it they said that was for two guys at $75 per hour for 2 1/2 hours plus chemicals and power washing our pool deck. One of the guys power washed the pool deck for an additional charge without asking us if we wanted that done and that's all he did. The rest of the time he was following the other guy around watching what he was doing like he was in training.

I told them it took 2 1/2 hours because there was only one guy working. They said they would give us a $75 credit off of our next service. We will never get that $75 credit because we will never use them again!

Whey the Aqua Specialists team opened my pool - the pump was leaking. These gentlemen worked so hard to fix the problem. They replaced several parts to get it done. I watched them do the work - it was like an orchestra of activities. Required great physical strength also. Incredibly competent. The bill was a bit higher due to the extra-time to fix the leak, but I am sure I would have paid many hundreds more if this team wasn't so determined and committed.

They'll have to punch me in the mouth and knock out a few teeth if they want to lose my business - and even then - I'll probably stay with aqua specialists. Teeth can be replaced, but fantastic craftsmanship is much harder to find.
