Buchmyer's Pools

In my Opinion I have to say Buchmyer's is no good, unfair cheaters. Their goals are to rip off their patrons and they will lie and manipulate their way through your pool purchase. My experience was worse than awful looking back. My husband and myself went in during the throughs of Spring covid 2020. Chris the salesman took us to see their 2 pools out back. I'd been thinking an oval pool and when I mentioned she he shouts NO! that's it.

I thought very strange we move into their little trap section and we never spent any quality time talking about the different sizes, shapes or any options like the outside color/pattern or liner. I never had a pool so this flew over my head. So Chris starts like this slowly says We have a 30'.pause. I didn't realize how big a 30' was it happened fast & Chris certainly wasn't telling us either!

Basically we signed a contract for a 30 foot pool! She is a conniving manipulative cheater in a word UNPROFESSIONAL! So our pool was installed 9/20. This Spring after going multiple times every week to get this pool balanced I had the opportunity to speak with the owner Kriste my first and it was repulsive. During this brief conversation I asked her why was I sold this large Olympic pool without my knowing it.

She proceeded to tell me her husband came to my property and sprayed orange lines on the ground. She asked why I didn't say anything then? Are you serious! He basically surveyed our property I didn't realize I was to walk the orange lines and I never did! If Buchmyer's is so professional why would he not suggest installing our pool on a lower elevation on our property because I can not see my children in the pool its elevated SO HIGH!

This is safety 101! Our pool was built up almost 3 feet higher so now we'll need a retaining wall and a deck! What was so repulsive about Kriste was at a point in this conversation she obnoxiously sorta was looking down but up at me very purposely with this nasty look on her face, I'll never forget it! I guess that's what greed does to some!

Upon leaving I purchased chlorine she was offering my 18 year old a job I'd never let this company influence my beautiful daughter! Kriste took my cell # down and said she'd call me after speaking to her husband. She never did call but I received a letter essentially a one way correspondence! In it she said that the sales woman Chris tried to get us a smaller pool!

Flat out liars! At one stage in building our pool the construction fella walked up to my back door and announced we will need to rent a breaker to break into our hill @ 1,000 a day to make more room for this pool and he says well need to or we can stop right here and leave instead of saying lets downsize your pool. I know someone that is getting a significantly smaller pool same price with this shady company! Buyer beware!

This company fit me in when no others could. They were extremely professional and went out of their way to help me. I was even out of their area of operations and they still took the job because they sensed my desperation. I highly recommend them and am extremely pleased with their work. Their staff were amazing and easy to talk to. They showed me how to operate everything and went into detail to explain what they fixed and to contact them if I needed anything else. I do not know what I would have done without them. Highly recommended and you will not be disappointed.

Oh my what an awful experience I had here one time. I came in here and waited 10 minutes before someone came to help me. I just needed some Hot Tub Chemicals for my daughters Hot Tub. When I was finally helped it was by a grumpy lady who boofied one of the gasiest boofs I have ever smelt. (A Boofy is what my family calls a toot.) I think she had an accident, my lord it was so bad. She was not nice at all. To be honest the whole store smelt like skunks and garlic. I don't recommend coming here. There prices may be cheap but it's not worth it!

Such nice people, never try to sell me products I dont need.

We are very pleased with our decision to go with Buchmyer's. They do great work, and even with all the challenges they have had with manufacturing delays (COVID-19), they did beautiful, professional work. Their employees & contractors were all quite pleasant and knowledgeable.

Friendliest staff EVER. We will be loyal customers after our first visit! My spouse was trying to find some supplies previously at other pool store locations and had been met with what he would consider "short patient" staff. Buchmyer's staff was extremely friendly, asked questions so we made sure to get the right supplies we needed and no matter whichstaff member we spoke to (went back on a second occasion to look around) they were all amazing!

Melanie in service provides world-class customer support. She is an Aquabot expert with the hands-on experience, product knowledge, and attention to detail that demonstrates she cares about the customer and products she services. I highly recommend Buchmyer's Pools for their high-quality service.

Had them open and balance my pool for a few years. Then things changed when their ownership changed hands. All they do is push chemicals. They rely way too much on their computer balancing than common sense. No surprise their computer is supplied by the same company that makes the chemicals. They charged me $500 at the beginning of 2019 season for a 50 lb tub of Cl.

I went back knowing I was overcharged. Young girl just laughed and said "oops". Then I looked on internet, same tub is $150. I try to support local business, but at 3x the price!? Whole tub didn't clear up pool. They said to put in baking soda, $135 worth. Way too much and blew up my readings. Spent $900 in 4 weeks and pool still was a swamp. Went elsewhere and cleared it up for $125.

Will never go back again. They know pools are a luxury item, people have a bit more money. They also say their chemicals are different than HD or Sam's. NO! They will do their best to take as much of your money as possible. Buyer beware.

This is an excellent place to get pool supplies, after trying four or five pool supply places in the area They had the easiest plan that kept my pool crystal clear! Plus the customer service, coming from someone that doesn't necessarily know anything about pools they take the time to explain and give me step by step instructions to make sure mine looks great :-

Our money was well spent. The team came out today to set up our new pool and was professional, courteous and most of all customer friendly. I appreciated their down to earth terminology when walking me through the set up and operation of the pump, filter and maintenance. I will highly recommend your company to any of our friends looking to put in a pool. Kudos to you all!

We chose Buchmyer's to install and service our pool two years ago. We chose them because of their excellent reputation and we made the correct choice. The pool they helped us choose is still perfect, they have upgraded us to salt water and helped us maintain our pool every step of the way. We created a problem for ourselves (muddy well water) and Buchmyer's was in touch with us daily until it was resolved.

Our pool was perfect again in three days. We do our part by bringing in water for testing and they do theirs by telling us what to add and how to add it. We rely on them to open and close our pool every year. If you are building a pool, you can't go wrong with Buchmyer's!

Free pool chem analysis with purchase of pool chemicals. Knowlegable staff, c LEAN store. Nice new paved parking lot. Lots of pool related paraphernalia. Supplies for most in and above ground pools as well as chemicals.

I have had nothing but good luck with Buchmyer's pools. The service has always been spot on and they have been very informative when coming out or when we go in for water testing. I have used them for opening and closing my pool, repairing a leak in my liner, a leak in a hose and replacing my filter that was broken by Nemo Pools when Nemo closed it in 2015. When we go in the store, Kristi may not know us by name but she knows what pool we have and makes sure we get what we need.

I'm only writing this review because the experience we had was so poor. My mother and I walked in there and no one even greeted us, walked outside to the display pools, we were standing beside one of the pumps I guess it was and the girl started messing with it and it literally exploded water everywhere onto my mother and I. The two sales women did absolutely nothing.

We weren't even mad, I was only mad because if I were the sales girl I would have been mortified and profusely apologizing. I've worked in customer service for years. No one said anything, didn't apologize, or seem to care. I would have felt awful. So unprofessional, simply why we will not buy our pool from here.

I recently moved in the area. Buchmyers seem to be the only pool service available. I have used Buchmyers to install a heater, open the pool and cleaning once. The pool opening was great. I am also satisfied with the actual work to install the heater. Their scheduling leaves a LOT of room for improvement. I was told I would receive a quote in a couple of days.

After a week and a half, I asked again. A few days later I received an apology that they had been busy and the quote was attached. The attachment was for a pool liner. When I pointed that out it took another few day to get the right quote. Last Tuesday I asked to schedule some service so my wife does not need to take care of it while I am out of town.

The auto-response email said they would email me a confirmed date within a few days. Today is Monday. I am still waiting. I guess I was spoiled at my last location, the people would actually get back to you promptly. But when your the only place in town.
