Prior to that I worked for my father's swimming pool business for 25 years. In those 25 years I gained experience with in-ground and above-ground pools, spas, pool renovations, retaining walls, brick and concrete patios, water features, waterfalls, fountains, automatic covers, safety covers, salt generators, and fences.

We couldn't be happier with our new pool. The staff were professional and courteous, and our pool was installed quickly and with no problems. Does not stand behind subcontractors work. Poor discoloration and craftsmanship on steps and pool finish. George takes little responsibility and will not guarantee a fix in writing. $50,000+ for a pool with no patio included is a big price tag for a project that we are not fully satisfied with. Additionally, lots of delays, permit issues and in general no organization or coordination skills.
It seemed like an abundance of mistakes due to poor organization. (including wrong stones ordered, lack of code guidelines & permit issues multiple times) He left us to be the project managers when subcontractors were sent and didn't oversee the work. George was most concerned about his bottom line not customer satisfaction or referrals. He got heated on several occasions when we expressed our dissatisfaction and delay of final payment until we received written guarantee that he would fix it.(Unprofessional) We did not receive what we requested but released his $ because it was through a 3rd party financing company.
Our kids feet are bleeding everytime they swim because the Diamondbrite finish is so rough. Overall the company should stick to vinyl pools which may be less complicated and better suited for the company. If he fixes the interior of our pool I will update with a positive outcome.

As a new pool owner I hadn't the first clue on how to balance swimming pool water and the equipment was foreign to me as well. I stopped into the store to ask a few simple questions which ended up being a tremendous help! I had my water tested and was given a quick pool chemistry crash course that made all the difference. I have had occasional questions about my water and equipment and there was always someone happy to assist me over the phone. So Kudos to the staff of George Neiderer Pools & Thanks for the help!

This is a follow up to the above post about the discoloration. George has made everything right. This has been very much appreciated. Initially, as described, we were very disappointed on the sub contracting work of our diamond brite material. George has since had the "expert" with this product out to fix these issues. At this point, we give George Niederer Pools a 5 star rating for making things right and being prompt ion response time. Thank you!

Best around. All the guys and girls are very helpful. Always know what I'm talking about from just a short description or picture. Awesome maintenance for pool and water. Always a good experience! That was my first review. And after another visit still very happy. Can't say enough good. I can't believe the last review. Take these with a grain of salt!
