I signed a contract and they only came once. Requested a refund for past 2 month. Never respond. Now I am preparing a lawsuit. This company is a garbage. After I reached out my lawyer - They refused to answer our lawyer's email. This is a scam. They come only once and just took your money. Don't know where to report and how to get my $ back.

Won't allow me to choose "no stars". This company is complete FRAUD. Took off with the cash and now is dealing with the other PM POOLS in court. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - Scam stealing customers from the first PM pool company which I hear was his father's business, then leaves them without pool service and stole our pool cover - they won't respond to any voice messages or emails. STAY CLEAR!

I can't give a negative score otherwise I would. At the end of last year they took my filter cartridges under the guise that they were cleaning them. I never asked or requested this. In past years I would have to clean my filters myself so I know this is a lie. I moved to a new pool company this year and PM Pool is holding me HOSTAGE and won't return my filters.
I even said I would come and pick them up. Ironically they gave me a story about the filters being in storage. Funny, they came to my next door neighbors house and started their pool up so why would they not bring my filters? They then promised to have the filters on Friday after a week of back and forth. They even sent me two confirming emails that they would show up, guess what, no one showed up or called.
I sent them emails and left voice mail. No one has returned my call yet. Worst company ever, DO NOT USE. I will be filing a lawsuit against them just to prove a point that this is unacceptable. STAY AWAY! Update- His response to my initial complaint is completely off. I'm now being contacted by the IRS because he did not pay his workers and I'm being asked to send them any payments directly. Fortuately for me I owe them nothing but I feel bad for the workers. This explains why no one is answering the phones, everyone is on to them including his own employees! Still a complete fraud!

Completely disappointed and dissatisfied with their services and work. We were never informed or notified on their random service appearances, or if we were notified, there would be a no show. One of their tasks was to correct the flooring of our pool, which was done very uneven and lumpy. They covered their tracks by placing the liner over it immediately without allowing us to examine their shoddy work. Zero stars if it was an option.

Absolutely irresponsible and expensive company. Debris and leaves from cover and walls to pool are small problems. They send inexperienced guys to do a job. Four years ago they mounted new appliances for my pool. In the next year they broke a pump. I paid for repair. In this year the same problem, they sent "specialists" who started pump on dry surface, resulting in the system was blocked and working dry within several hours. Now pump is losing pressure and doesn't clean the water. Never again!

We contracted with PM Pools (PMP) (360 West 1st Avenue Roselle, NJ 07203 (908) 241-60000-http://www.pmpools.com/) on 10/2/09 to update and repair our pool. Work was to begin 3/10. Work did not commence until 6/10/10 due to multiple excuses. Issues described below including problems with the quality of work, response to phone/email, etc., unprofessionalism, and a further litany of issues: 1.
Quality of work Coping was installed unevenly and PMP salesman tried to convince us that it should be this way, despite being told otherwise from a PMP subcontractor PMP cracked skimmer rim. On 7/18/10 skimmer was not cracked during inspection with PMPSM. On 7/21/10, after PMP replaced skimmer parts, skimmer was damaged/cracked, apparently by someone attempting to remove it.
Pool has been leaking constantly since PMP started working. We did not have this issue prior to PMP repair. Pool continued to leak for the remainder of the summer. By mid 8/10 PMP still did not discover the actual cause of the leak. At different time they blamed either the plugs, the light, or the skimmer as the source of the leak. PMPSM stated that the crack in the skimmer is probable cause of the ongoing leak.
In their attempt to repair the skimmer they used "pool putty, " to see if that would help; it did not. Now they state that "there is no warranty on the length of time that it [pool putty] will last." (9/14/11) The pool has and continues to leak constantly. At this time, they are requesting balance on payment without resolving the issue. They applied DECK-O-SEAL (sealant) in the rain, it washed away to sit below deck level allowing for water collection and algae growth.
We had to call them to redo the work, albeit sloppily. According to the DECK-O-SEAL website (http://www.deckoseal.com/DOSapplication.pdf) the proper application method is as follows ".At 77o F (25oC) and 30% relative humidity, the application life is approximately one hour. Apply thoroughly blended material with supplied squeeze bottle (96 oz. kits only), caulking gun or any other suitable applicator.
Be sure to remove masking tape from both sides of the joint before the sealant starts to set. DECK-O-SEAL will set firm and rubbery within 24 hours at 77o F. At lower temperatures, curing time may take longer. NOTE: Do not apply paint over surfaces sealed with DECK-O-SEAL products." These guidelines were not followed. PMP electrician examined the pool light and in doing so cut wires, discarded wires, and claimed that the pool plastic conduit was crushed, PMPSM stated in a voicemail recording "I spoke to Walter, he said that the conduit underneath the diving board is crushed.
He was not able to pull the light wire through the conduit for that reason. It would be a big job to correct this problem." PMPSM again did inspect this work prior to claims made. In fact, it was a metal conduit and patent, I passed a cable through with no issue. 2. Delays Initial contract work was delayed by 3 months. Delivery of wrong materials created additional delays Workers did not show up when scheduled.
Phone calls & emails were ignored and/or response was delayed significantly, and didn't address the issues that were raised regarding poor workmanship 3. Unskilled laborers Additional damages created during "repair" Lack of supervision of laborers Unprofessional: laborers would show up unannounced in our fenced in back yard without advanced notice and with no or ambiguous identification 4.
Business Practice PMPSM was unresponsive PMPSM lied about work orders given to employees PMPSM tried to convince us the poor quality work was standard "Pool building rebuilding technique, " without being on site to inspect work quality. Company is demanding payment despite work being incomplete or resolving the ongoing issues that they created during repair. Pool continues to leak after one years' time. PMP Subcontractor claimed that this job would normally cost &7-8,000. PMP is charging $15,994
