Great place to work. I have been here for 8 years now and this was my first real job. They taught me so much about responsibility, and how to talk to people. I highly recommend working for the pool therapist if you are looking for an exciting summer job.

Got offered to work 2 hrs a day cleaning the bathrooms 4 days a week as my permanent schedule at hillside after texting Mr. Roaker that I wasn't feeling well and was wondering if someone could cover me the next day. I had also said if he didn't have anyone to cover I would come in as it was late notice. Sent text at 8pm night before he didn't see it until 5 am.

Reason was because you can't take a day off a summer job. Worked full time hours. At first he seems fair but the summer heat must really get to him. Quick to fire anyone for his own mistakes as well. Good job if you're just about a bag but it's not a job you'll enjoy

Pool Therapist is an excellent first job. I worked for this company from the time I was 15, starting as a lifeguard, until I was about 22, where I ended my career there as a manger. I learned so much from this job, skills that I carry to this day, especially social skills in dealing with the public. I made many friends that I still have to this day.

The owner, Stu, and the office manager, June, were so patient and easy to work for. I enjoyed my time at this company very much. It is a great seasonal job for anyone looking for summer work.

I first started working at Pool Therapist when I was 16 and from the moment I started there I had a positive experience. The management was very friendly and accommodating. June and her staff made sure that my work schedule was fair and if there was ever a conflict she would start working on a solution immediately. I was happy I was part of such a successful local business.

HANDS DOWN BEST COMPANY TO WORK FOR! I was an employee at Pool Therapist for 10+ years. Best job I've ever had! I started as a lifeguard when I was a teenager and worked my way up over the years to Field Supervisor and then to Manager and Lifeguard / CPR / First Aid Instructor. Stu and June ware the absolute best pool management team around! Stu was always respectful and never hesitated to teach me or a fellow lifeguard how to keep the pool crystal clean to the point where pool members were always giving compliments and requesting me back to their pool for the next season. June is the kindest woman I have ever had the pleasure of working with. June mostly works behind the scenes at the office non-stop. June always makes sure to have her ducks in a row and will go above and beyond when it comes to the employees.

When it comes to scheduling 200+ teenage lifeguards for the summer, June is a master! From working around their summer activities from sports camps, driver's ed., second jobs, getting sick, family summer vacations, car trouble, having no car, bad hair days, whatever it was, June would accommodate and make sure you being a lifeguard for Pool Therapist would be part of your summer fun and on top of that she would assign you to a pool that was close to where you lived. I loved working for Stu and June at Pool Therapist all of those years and highly recommend it!

The "Pool Therapist" people installed my pool and did an awesome job. They tore the surroundings up and put it all back neatly. The owner called and checked on us to make sure we were happy with his work. I reccomend them to anyone who wants a cost effective, professional job done.

I have worked at the Pool Therapist for over 3 years, and it has been a great experience. Lifeguarding is a serious job, which requires you to be super attentive and responsible. The Pool Therapist understands this and is always making sure that the pool area is safe and well taken care of, so that swimmers and lifeguards can reduce injury in the pool area.

All the pools I have worked at have been kept in good condition, and any incidents I have witnessed were always handled with the utmost care by the company. To add to this, Stuart, June, Jill, and many of my colleagues have always been likeable, responsible, and diligent. They are always working to improve the work experience and eliminate any complications. I am thankful for my past and present experiences with the Pool Therapist.

I am answering the pool therapist owners. U wanna help me. Send me to the doctors and pay for me u know why. U wanna help me give me back the money u owe me from paying ur friends more than me. Me 9 bucks an hour ur friends 10 bucks an hour. How's that for help? I am responding to the latest pool therapist post. The Workmans comp rep came to my moms house and took pics of me to show she came and I said when can u go to the doctor which is victory internal medicine on wooley ave I can walk there and the lady said I have to wait to get a letter to see and get signed at the doctor.

I never received any thing but a certified letter saying the pool therapist is denying my Workmans comp claim. I never received any letter to get signed by the doctor. So stop with the lies that I couldn't take a bus there. If ur company was caring u would have had that person with the shingles stay home. She never did her job anyway. Also obviously I am a nice person that has come in contact with the wrong businesses and people and I am allowed to tell the truth about people and businesses. U are not allowed to lie about me anymore!

I have plenty of proof that ur company treated me wrong. Its amazing that quarantine and this virus is bringing out the best and worst in humanity. Freedom of speech. And why do u care about my post? Ur business is still thriving. Obviously I am just a disgruntled worker right? U should focus on ur business and not me. I said goodbye to u 4 years ago.

I still have ur email that said don't contact us anymore. And I didnt. And u shouldn't contact me either. U lost me another good worker. I also have Ms. Tata screaming at me defending her friend and Ms. Tata screaming at me about finding out that my co workers at the gate made more than me for 6 years on my moms phone message machine. And my declining health pics.

Just remember Cheaters never prosper. I will always walk with my head held high because I never cheated of lied to anyone. Its not my fault that I can't find a nice job. I find jobs that nobody wants and now I know why. How come u care about me now? U didn't care for me when I worked for u. U didn't care about my health. And when I tried to reach out to u to tell u what u did to my health u ignored me and said repeatedly dont contact our company.

Now ur contacting me. Please. Focus on ur business and leave me alone. Although I will say one day I will see ur business in court. I have a great attorney. For free! U have any questions or comments for me please contact my lawyer. Thank u. Bye.

Hi I am Christina cornacchio. I am 43. I worked for this company for 7 years and my bosses treated me badly. They overworked me. I never got a break because I was good at my job. I had to do other people's jobs here. When I first started I worked at sss club and all the staff was fired because a lifeguard didn't do her job. A member had to save a girl who needed help in the water.

It was in the advance that a girl almost drowned and the lifeguard didn't save her. Then I worked at island swim club. It was nice but the pool was broke and the members decided to sell the property. Again I was out of a job. I was guard at the gate. I was in my 30's and the people this company hired were young and immature. I always had to come in on my day off.

The people they hired never wanted to work. Then years later they hired me for hillside swim club. I liked it but all of my gate co workers were June's friends my female boss. All of her Friends were spoiled and they all mouthed off to me and left their shift early and let anyone into hillside swim club. They never checked the members Id. My male boss Mr roaker was always threatening us workers that's horrible. U don't talk to us like the way u did.

Also my female boss screamed at me because I complained to her that her friend threatened to get me fired if I don't let her do what she wants to do meaning she wants to have her husband do her job instead of her. And lastly the pool therapist allowed someone with shingles to be at the gate. I said I never had chicken pox I will get it and my boss said ok she can stay home but they hid her from me and I caught a rash a week later.

I told them I quit and the boss Mr roaker said to me pack ur bags and leave the club doesn't want u any more! I am fired! So I left and I still have this rash. What does the pool therapist have to say for themselves huh? Ruined my health. When the members asked where I was Mr roaker said I left because I didn't want to be here anymore! Liar! So don't ever work for this company!

They also hired a person who was on disability and was paid cash under the table. Not good. My female boss also paid me less than my other co workers! I found out and confronted her and she screamed at me! Liar! So I am sick and unemployed. Who does this? They hire people who let in anyone in the club and leave work early and clock out when they get home. Don't work here! Run away from the pool therapist!
