Always great customer service and stand by their products! Have been a faithful customer since Gene, himself, was the owner and will not go anywhere else. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and pleasant. I bought a hot tub a couple years back and the owner remembered my name. I was impressed. He has been extremely helpful in answering all my questions regarding my hot tub and getting the chemicals just right.

Most places try to 'upsell' you on everything and I have never experienced that at Gene Lilly. Going in there to get chemicals, I am greeted by name and treated like family! I highly recommend this place to friends and family. Glad to see that Gene Lilly Pools and Spas has remained in business and will hopefully be around for a very long time! Thank you, all, for everything.

Very helpful very knowledgeable staff. They had an answer for every question that I had regarding my pool. I recommend Gene Lilly Custom Pools for anyone who has a pool or a hot tub. If you're looking for fun accessories they also carry those.

I have been using Gene Lilly for my pool and spa needs for years. They tell you what you need, they know their pools and spas and dont try to sell you things you dont need. The same people have worked their for years and treat you like friends.

I have an inground pool and I have been using this company to open and close the pool each season for over five years. I love supporting a local business when I can. I appreciate the personalize service I get and I have never had issues with an opening or a closing. My pool is at my income property and so I am not actually there when they service it. However, they do not try to get away with anything or charge me a crazy amount.

The cost has remained consistent year to year. I like to support local businesses whenever I can and while I know it sometimes means you don't get the same quality of service or access to products and pricing, I feel like I definitely do with this company and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

I love this place.not only do they have everything you'll need for your pool, they wont rob u at gunpoint either. They also have a mobile team that will come out like a house call and diagnose/fix whatever Murphy has done to your pool/filter/pump. Customer service is #1.

Very friendly staff and helpful, they answer questions and explain in a simple way for a Fifth-grader to understand. Some of the items are less than Leslie and others are the same. Shop around and compare they always say. if you have to have or can you wait for delivery.

To date, I've purchased a ski ball machine, 6 chairs, 2 neon, and a large amount of pool supplies including a robot. All the items are great. The staff here is even better. Always helpful and friendly. I try to only purchase pool and game room supplies from here.

My experience with Gene Lilly has amazing. We've been customers for over 7 years. Yesterday, I went to the store to have my pool water tested because we could not get rid of algae in our salt water pool after weeks of trying everything. The young lady who helped me gave me step by step instructions to remove the algae. She was very patient and wrote down the instructions on paper and on the chemical bottles. We completed the steps and woke to a crystal clear pool. By far the best pool supply store and advisors. Thank you very much Gene Lilly pools!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help you. We bought our pool in April and they have been nothing short of magnificent when it comes to customer service. Providing tips and even tools to help when I had a small issue. We even bought an arcade machine from them and they delivered it quickly and safely. I will continue using them in the future and appreciate all they do for me as a customer!

I want to sing the high praises of this company! We bought an incredible pool from them and we LOVE it. The staff is friendly, professional, and they all have delightful personalities. The pool was installed last Friday (the 13th) and it's a sight to behold. Then, the next day (by no fault or affiliation with Gene Lilly) without my knowledge a pool water company filled our brand-new pool with water that looked worse than water you'd find in the Inner Harbor, it was BLACK (no lie).

We were mortified! Much like Superman, the staff at Gene Lilly immediately came out to the house and treated the pool. This was followed up with two additional visits and now, as a result (and in four days) the pool is crystal clear and above all SAFE! I don't know how they performed this miracle but we are not only ecstatic, we are so grateful for their generosity, patience (because I was a certifiable basket case about this whole ordeal), and above all their dedication to their customers.

They have a stellar reputation. Customer service and professionalism of this echelon is a rare find! Thank you, Gene Lilly! If you are looking for a pool company look no further. THIS IS IT. They are THE BEST!

Had them replace my pool light last Fall. The manufacturer's installation instructions called for replacing the bracket when replacing an older light, but they just jammed the new light on the old bracket, which is now not secured at the bottom, leaving an unsightly and potentially dangerous 1/2" gap that could trap a child's finger. Despite multiple contacts, and withholding payment, they have not corrected the issue.

After I wrote them a certified letter explaining the whole situation and the solution, the service manager called today and said that the owner had decided that they "are not coming back." I will pay them for the light (not the labor) and never do business with them again.

Foolishly bought a hot tub from them. They will happily sell you a hot tub, but are so reluctant to service it when trouble arises. Be prepared to beg. This last time, I called three times, spoke to three different people, and all said I'd get a call back, and I never heard from anyone. Finally, my husband and I decided to look for service elsewhere.

Be advised - it's very difficult to find someone to service your hot tub if you didn't buy it from them. Which means, if you buy it from these guys like we did, you're going to go long periods of time with a broken hot tub. I wouldn't recommend them AT ALL.

I needed a connector hose from my pump to the filter and it had to be custom made. I searched around and finally stumbled upon Gene Lilly. I'm glad that I did! Not only were they able to make the hose, they had the parts in stock and did it while I waited. The guy even stayed open a little later just to finish it. Talk about Customer Service!

Something else that really impressed me was that we did business with a handshake. A lost art in today's business world it seems. It really resonated with me and I'll definitely be back. I always try to support local businesses when possible and this one will be my go to for pool supplies from here on out. If you've never been here, you're missing out. They've got an incredible array of cool items for sale. Arcade style video games, hot tubs, Adirondack chairs in every color imaginable and much much more!

Decent. Good dialogue pre-order for a hot tub, but less interested and standoffish after we took delivery. Nothing wrong, just diminished enthusiasm. Sell overpriced arcade style video games in the off season.
