We are very pleased with our new pool installed by Blue Dolphin Fiberglass Pools. We ordered our pool In June of 2020 and construction began in September. We did a lot of research ahead of time and were impressed with Blue Dolphin as they installed ours using the best practices in the industry. Ryan oversaw every step of the project with his veteran team and often times did the detail work himself. Ryan was flexible and worked with us to customize several components of our project. Additionally In the middle of a pandemic; with supply and worker shortages everywhere; Blue Dolphin never missed a beat on our project.
Communication was straightforward and honest. Ryan went out of his way and called several times to make sure we were on the same page. We love our new pool and just completed our first summer season enjoying it. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Blue Dolphin again as their value, quality of product and experience make them a quality company.

We signed our contract June 2020 and Ryan installed our pool October 2020. Product is exactly what we wanted. Ryan worked with us when it came to what we wanted and there was no pressure to purchase any extras. Ryan actually did most of the work himself. Communication is the one downside to using Blue Dolphin. Ryan is hard to get ahold of but we love our pool. The electrician and concrete contractors are easy to work with and do wonderful work. Would recommend Blue Dolphin.

Ryan and his crew were fantastic. They were all extremely polite and knowledgeable of the job at hand. He and his crew went above and beyond for our family to get the pool installed in a timely matter. Any questions we did have Ryan answered in a very timely matter and explained everything to us perfectly. We couldn't be happier with the entire process. Would highly recommend Blue Dolphin to anyone looking for a inground pool.

We could not be happier about our experience and service we received from Ryan and his staff & sub-contractors. Everyone showed up on time, were respectful and ensure we were informed of their progress that day and what to expect the following day. They started on a Thursday and were completed with the project the following Thursday. It was nice to watch the progress each day.
We forgot to inform them that we added a concrete area, when they came out to grade the yard with the extra dirt, they said no problem and simply brought more dirt back in to ensure our yard looked perfect. Every contractor they hired was professional. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for helping us to make our kids dreams of having their own pool in their backyard come true. We would highly recommend Ryan and his staff.

Cemented my pipes in wrong. Lied to me about rules regarding how close equipment can be placed under a window, and then when HIS OWN electrician came to hook up equipment and said he couldn't put it under my window, tried to charge ME for his mistake. I paid extra for an upgraded pump and heater, he installed neither and never mentioned it. My father noticed that I didn't have the equipment noted on my contract.
He then never once apologized, he actually blamed me and said I rushed him so I could have a pool party. Installed the wrong size gas line (he installed one that worked with the heater he installed, not the one I paid for.) His own father, Pat contacted us and agreed that they screwed up and would help make it right. My dad agreed to rerun the gas line if they did the electrical. Ryan then told his father that he wasn't paying to fix anything and to stay out of it.
His own father called us back and told us. He did not hook the pump up correctly. The directions clearly state there are supposed to be x # inches of straight pipe going into the filter to ensure a laminar flow (less wear and tear on your pump and it will last longer) there was not. My pipes laid across my lawn for THREE MONTHS while I fought him to fix his shoddy work. Required four pool companies to assess his work, all 4 said don't let him bury your pipes, before he came and fixed it.
Never graded my side yard like he was supposed to. Cut my cable line and never said a word. Never gave me my year supply of chemicals. Never gave me the ladder for my deep end. Never gave me my winter cover. Never took 5 minutes to show me how anything worked. Nothing. I had another pool company come out and teach me. He took all of my plants off of their cement blocks and used MY pavers to place his cheap plastic thing to place the equipment on.
I refused to pay him the final $2,000 until the job was done and done right. I never saw him again. So yes, I never made the last payment, but I also have a heater smaller than what paid for as well as all the things he never gave me. To many issues to list them all. Ryan and his team installed our pool this June. We are extremely happy with our pool and patio. Ryan stayed true to the timeline and budget that he agreed to. The whole process moved very quickly once it started. Ryan responded to our questions in a timely manner. The pump and heater were delayed due to covid, but that was out of his control. Once they came in, Ryan had someone come and install them. The concrete crew and electricians were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Blue Dolphin for a pool installation.

Blue Dolphin installed pool, spa and custom concrete at a competitive price. We are very happy with the results. Project took a little longer than expected due to weather and some typical, minor contractor stuff but we would highly recommend Ryan and Blue Dolphin to anyone considering a pool in the Toledo area.
