Heatwave Pools built my pool, and I’ve maintained it with them since I purchased the house 4 years ago. I’ve noticed ridiculous pricing fluctuations and sketchy charges since I began doing business with them. Every opening and closing they charge for the exact same level of chemicals they “say” your pool needs though they don’t test the water….and they don’t actually add the chemicals they charge you for.

And every opening there is something “magically” broken that operated fine during the season before? Every opening and closing I was charged for 10 lbs pool shock though there were not 10 lbs added to the pool. They are just putting a “blanket” chemical charge to every opening and closing to make more money. This past season they closed my pool, charged me 40% more than the year before and I had to raise hell to get them to back that cost down.

Upon opening my pool this year I noticed I was missing several parts (3 eye ball fittings and one filtered return outlet) the total for the parts I had to purchase were $75. I called 4 times to talk with Heatwave Pools, and even asked for the owner Paul (what’s up Paul?) to call me concerning the issue. 4 weeks have gone by with no call, now that’s great customer service.

Apparently once your pool is built with Heatwaves they stop caring about customer service. The other day I noticed my neighbor was having Heatwave Pools open their pool (because I regrettably recommended them) and they had similar issues. They said things were broken and needed to be fixed while of course they weren’t home during the opening, though they weren’t, then pulled the same chemical scam on them.

My neighbors refused the repairs to come home and discover the claim of broken sand filter parts were untrue. COVID has hit EVERYONE financially hard, but people who are out to take advantage should be ashamed. Take your business elsewhere…

Paul and his crew are top notch they were friendly accommodating and prompt ive never seen nicer or more polite young men and Shelby at the office is great! I made some great friends while having my pool installed I love this Team and love my beautiful pool! Thank you Paul for all you've done for me! Sincerely Evelyn

I'm not one to typically post reviews however, my experience with this pool company wasn't anything short of exceptional! Kudos to heatwave pools and staff for providing an outstanding customer experience. Their communication throughout the process was superb. Thanks and keep up the great work!

This company deserves every 1 star review it has. DO NOT use this company. I paid this company $664 on 9/3/20 to come and do a full inspection on a pool for a home I am buying. Upon inspection this company discovered the liner of the pool needed to be replaced. After 3 back and fourth phone calls with the office staff, and 1 phone call to the owner we finally were able to receive a 1 sentence email with a quote for a new liner.

After sorting out the remaining details with the sellers of the home, today on 9/18/20, 15 days later I placed a call to schedule a replacement liner. I was told to contact the owner to schedule and I did. The owner then had someone from his company contact me back to tell me they no longer service my area. 15 WHOLE DAYS AFTER THEY FELT COMFORTABLE CHARGING ME $634 TO SERVICE MY AREA.

If they knew they were cutting that area out of service they should have notified me before I even decided to work with them. Customer service is non existent here. I feel like I was completely scammed out of my money. 15 days is an unacceptable timeline to suddenly decide you're not going to help me after I've been working with you. This company was referred to me by someone, but I highly advise anyone looking for some service to STAY AWAY.

Unless you want to be completely ripped off and be treated like garbage by the office staff. The way this company treats is paying customers is completely laughable. If this wasn't a referral I would have stayed away with all the 1 star reviews if already has. Anyone looking for a pool company should heed the warnings already given.

I hired this company for pool pairing and repairs. The owner of this company is rude, he yells and screams at customers. Worst customer service ever experience and their work is low quality. Take heed and be aware.

We moved into our house which has a 16x 32 pool called heat wave for our closing and opening of the pool for season 2019/2020. They overcharged for the chemicals to be put in the pool and left chemicals that we would never use and charged us. So in 2020 when the pool had to be Closed we went with ASAP pools come to find out we had no clue we was being overcharged by heat wave and done wrong in so many ways

Exceeded all my expectations. Guys are great. I have 2 dogs and was worried about fence while they were digging. NEVER an issue. Professional and very efficient. Kept me informed throughout process which was 2 weeks from yesterday when they started the dig and liner was dropped this morning! Please feel free to get my number from Heatwave if you need a reference. Knickerbocker's did my pool at my old house and while I had no complaints I had nothing to compare it to. Heatwave is the only pool company you need. Thanks Paul and team. Top notch!

Paul and his team deliver. We are very happy with our new pool and Heatwave's timely communication. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for new pool installation or existing pool service!

Paul and the crew were very professional and good at what they do. Gave me my pool back like brand new that I struggled to get fixed elsewhere! I would recommend them to anyone that doesn't want any worries! Very easy to work with, show up when they are supposed to, and top notch work. I can't express how pleased I am with the results!

Heatwave pools is extremely top notch! From the wonderful, helpful friendly customer service right up to the service guys. Not to mention the owner Paul! These guys know how to make customers very pleased with exceptional work, done in a timely matter! I highly recommend heatwave pools to anyone and everyone!

Worthless customer services. if you complain about anything they tell you we did only what is in the contract and nothing more. Don't use these people for anything

Friendly, informative, timely, knowledgeable. All the employees have been great over the last 2 years we've used them and Paul goes above & beyond. Witness an interaction with an employee where he was so kind. Bet it's a great place to work.. Really appreciate them!

Stopped by the Centerville store a few days ago to get my water tested because I had a green pool and I was greeted by 2 girls. Both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about water chemistry. They helped me get all of the chemicals I needed, carried them to the car for me and I now have a crystal clear pool to swim in! I have found my new favorite pool store to go to!

I had my pool painted by Heatwave and it looks awesome! Before my pool was painted it was chipping and just looked awful, but now my pool looks amazing and I don't have to worry about any paint chips in my pool. Paul was very kind and patient with me throughout this whole process. Also the young man who painted my pool was nice and did a wonderful job. 10/10 would recomment Heatwave Pools!

Heatwave has been nothing but so much help with my pool project this year. I was ready to just give up but luckily Paul and his crew were able to come in and help so I can enjoy my pool this summer! They are so kind and very knowledgeable.

The service here is terrible the 3 times I have went in. All I needed was two skimmer plates. They had one in stock and said to come back the next day for a new shipment. I mentioned that I was also installing my own pool liner and they laughed at me in a mocking and condescending manner. 3 days later I go back in and the lady running the store has no NO IDEA on pool terminology.

Every question I asked she was like a deer in headlights. Very basic questions at that. She did take my number down and said she would talk to the owner when a new shipment would come in and give me a call. 2 weeks later and multiple calls and still no ETA on a simple skimmer plate. Advice guys, Watson's is successful because everyone that works for them know their stuff.

Train your employees on the information that is related to that business. Btw my liner turned out great and thank you for your degrading behaviour. Putting a liner in isn't rocket science so no need to act like your highly skilled at what you do.

I used to be very happy with their services, they were always very prompt, but then I never knew what they were going to charge to open or close the pool (and it varied significantly) but today when I went to have another company come to open my pool I was told that when they closed my pool last season they broke the multi-port on my filter and failed to tell me that it was broken, and now I am out over $300 plus labor due to the negligence of Heatwave, and this is a filter that they installed just 4 years ago - so I would think that a filter and its multi port would last longer than 4 years.

Beautiful work done by a company that shows the upmost professionalism. Highly recommend!

Anytime I call into Heatwave Pools the staff is friendly and helpful. The owner Paul takes great pride in his work on new pool installations and they are also the go to option for pool liner replacement and repair. Their selection of pool supplies is also quite extensive.

Great customer service. Unsure what part I needed for my pool and the two young ladies were very helpful. Thank you for your help with my PSI gauge.

Horrible customer service! Do NOT use this company. Service technicians do not come out when scheduled. Service technicians are not very knowledgeable. Constant phone calls to owner to get the service we paid for. Owner makes promises he is unable to keep. Overpriced, and definitely not the kind of service I expected from their advertised full service company. Extremely disappointed is an understatement. Meant to click no stars but it won't let me I click.
