To be clear, we do not deal with this company, Glamour Pools. This company had a pool opening crew in our neighborhood. When they emptied that pool, they pointed the hose towards 3 backyards (1 of them ours) that are downhill from that pool and ended up flooding the 3 backyards. Pools should not be emptied into other backyards, but into a storm drain! Poorly trained employees. Extremely irresponsible!

Glamour Pools had installed my pool over 17 years ago. I've been trying to get service out of them for years as it takes quite a while. My most recent call was two months ago to have my heater fixed Every time I called to see if anyone's calling me back they keep telling me someone has my work order in their car. I'm not sure exactly what that means but no one has called me yet to set up an appointment.

For over 20 years we have used Glamour Pool to open and close our pool (they also installed it). For over 20 years a complete closing included removing the pump and wrapping it in plastic. This year, when Glamour closed the pool the left the pump on. My husband called and was told it was no longer included in a complete closing and there was an extra $50 plus a service call charge to come back out and remove it for a total of $105.
My husband requested someone from management call him to discuss. Instead, they came out and removed the pump, did not wrap it and billed us $105, which we did not authorize. We called again to discuss. The person who answered the phone refused to do anything for us and insisted we owed the $105, which we are refusing to pay as we did not authorize it without speaking with a manager first.

We had Glamour Pools install a pool for us over 12 years ago. The pool has been great, but the customer service continues to be a disappointment. Mike the manager has little to no customer skills, he just couldn't care about your concerns and he makes that perfectly clear. We have religiously had them open and close our pool every year since installed.
This year a metal cable from the cover must of snapped while installing the cover and feel in the pool. When it was this year the cable had left a huge rust mark, which Mikes response is we're busy, go enjoy your pool. How's that for customer service?

I am very disappointed in Glamour pools right now. My pool was started back in April with a promise we'd be in it by June. Well, just a few days away from June 1st and my back yard still looks like a war zone and there hasnt been a sole here in 2 weeks. NO ONE! I can't even let my grandchildren out there to play because there are several deep open holes back there that are hazardous.
There is terrible communication from them and between other contractors they are working with. I will say though, when there were people here actually doing something. They were great people, very nice bunch of men. But I really thought things would be farther along. I understand our weather hasnt been the greatest, but the past 2 weeks havent been all that bad or rainy and it would have been nice to at least hear from someone. But man, they want their money right away. I sure hope they redeem themselves soon.

I've done business with them multiple times with the houses we have built. A pool helps make the backyard a wonderful place to hang out. They were great. Sure, Buffalo weather does not cooperate with us, and Glamour was here whenever they could be, working diligently to get the job done. My pool is beautiful, and competes our backyard. I would recommend them any day.

I have been dealing with Glamour Pools for over 15 years. I have never had anything but good service. I have ran into problems a couple of times and phoned Mike and he talked me through it over the phone. My pool is a gunite in-ground pool and it has been wonderful - no major problems. We have called other pool companies before we bought and Glamour was the best priced. If I were to move and put in another pool I would call Glamour again.

If your looking for customer service with a smile, GO ELSEWHERE. The manager who answers the phones is unprofessional and very rude. When purchasing my new home we were excited about our new pool, but I wish any other company installed this pool. The pool's water lines were incorrectly installed from my in-floor cleaning system which I didn't even know worked until I had another professional come out to look at why my pool wasn't filtering correctly.
After a full two years of figuring out the poor plumbing I had a professional come re-plumb my whole system and refit it with a new filter because the current one was leaking. After finally getting through to somebody who I thought knew what they were doing and calling as a informed customer, I was treated like a person who was just wasting his time during his morning coffee break.
Instead of saying "Let me come over and take a look" or "You said you had photos why don't you send them over" - He said "I don't know what you want me to do." Then suggested that I call him when I know if I want them to re-plumb my whole pool's system. At the end of the call I can understand where the last reviewer said they used some"four-letter-words" since even before the phone clicked he was swearing about me calling. If you want ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE after your pool has been installed or I would even assume prior-to STAY AWAY FROM GLAMOUR POOLS.
