It is sad that Dave and Megan stielau of Medford lakes, can post such horrible lies, I happen to work the company that built there pool, the comment of threats could not be more untrue, at one point David threatened to kill the owner of diamond pools, unfortunately it was ignored by the local police department when it was reported. As far as delays in completing the pool perhaps these two LIARS Should have posted that they changed the size, shape, and significant details of the pool more than once.
Since I was part of the construction I can tell you the pool was completed in about 6 weeks, even though they made so many changes. Even Megan, his wife told us on several occasions that her husband has an extremely bad temper. It's a shame once again all of the facts never get posted!

Horrible company ( one bs story after the next) Horrible owner ( bs salesman, temper tantrums like a baby, and will threaten you but then want to shake your hand). Was told by the owner that the project was going south about 10 different times. When u say u will complete the project in 3-4 weeks and 10 weeks later we were begging diamond pools ( Scott Jarvis) to finish the pool project.
We had a hole in the ground with bullfrogs for to many weeks. Ridiculous. Horrible workmanship ( multiple issues with the construction of our pool and the stamped concrete that the owner Scott Jarvis installed himself.). Scott asked for a punch list and then handed it back to us and called it a wishlist. Don't walk from this company run as fast as you can.

At the end of the day, Scott's crew at Diamond Pools and Spas Inc. / Stamped Concrete by Russ finished my patio on time, on the quoted budget, and it does look good. This should normally be enough for at least a 4 star review, however the patio slope (which was the most important part of the patio and was discussed at length) was excessive so the patio actually ends below grade. Additionally, the color isn't what we agreed to, Scott's crew was very sloppy and left concrete, screws, and metal rebar in my yard, splashed concrete and the antiquing liquid on my siding, and then Scott cussed me out when I told him he should fix those issues.
The slope: When Scott came out for the original quote, we spend a significant amount of time discussing the lack of elevation in my yard and how it would be a delicate balance between the step down from the French Doors, slope away from the house, and finishing the patio above grade. When the crew came out I had to remind them of this again after they initially placed the forms.
After the forms were removed and re positioned, I again asked and was told the forms were good. But the finished patio ends below grade and the border actually slopes the wrong direction so I get pooling water in the area that is below grade. Border color: The border color is supposed to be a dark gray according to the contract, and the pictures exchanged between myself and Scott showed a uniform dark gray. Instead, the patio border is light gray with dark splotches so it's not uniform at all.
Other issues: Scott's crew piled the old deck up in the corner of my yard to be removed the next day with no tarp or protection over the grass. They initially placed the concrete stamps directly on the grass which caused the grass to turn yellow but luckily didn't kill it. They left screws, rebar, chunks of concrete and wood, and other trash behind in the yard.
They also splashed concrete on my patio door and siding, and antiquing liquid on my siding. Scott then invited himself over at 7 pm with 5 minutes of notice where he confirmed his crew used double the slope (which by itself would be fine) and finished the patio below grade. I told him to make the most egregious error right, his crew should come out and dig out a 4x6 foot area so that my patio was all above grade. I tried to show Scott the other errors his crew made and he cussed me out as he stormed out of my yard.

Awful company ( 20 something years in business means nothing). Horrible owner good bs salesman ( Scott Jarvis will even threaten you). I think Scott told us our project was going south quick about 10 different occasions. Threatened to seal our stamped concrete before color was added. You can't even talk to him without him having little temper tantrums.
Terrible workmanship ( looks good from the outside but it's like buying a nice looking car with a screwed up motor). Don't walk but run from this company. We are learning the hard way.

Absolutely terrible company. The owner was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He constantly had temper tantrums and threatened to walk off the job. And he was verbally abusive. He finally did walk off the job and left us with an unfinished pool that failed all the inspections. Not only was it unfinished it was loaded with mistakes and problems.
The liner had to be changed (2nd time) due to the wrong measurements and when his employees stained our pool coping they stained the liner walls! The walls had stain drips all over it. One of the stairs is uneven and the pool floor is terrible with large indentations all over it. The deck jets are not aligned and look terrible when on. The control panel stopped working after 4 weeks. Thank goodness it was under warranty. The concrete coping had to be redone due to it having sharp edges, uneven edges and huge pits.

Deciding which company I was going to install our pool was a big decision. I'm extremely happy that I allowed Diamond to give me a quote. They did more than just throw a number my way. I was asked a bunch of questions about my preferences and was then educated. This actually allowed me to save a couple bucks and design a more desirable pool my family and I.
The guys doing the install were friendly and professional. The communication from start to finish was on point. Most importantly the pool turned out great. I would highly recommend the folks at Diamond. Bring on the warm weather.

Great service and nice people! We have been using diamond pools to open, close and for routine maintenance on our pool since we moved to the area about 7 years ago. We have never had any issues with them and they are always quick to respond to my calls. I recently needed a new liner and they were great with advice, ordering and install. I've dealt with Mike and Joe a lot this summer and both of them have been extremely helpful with getting my pool up and running before, during and after my liner install. Thanks guys!

This company did a rehab on my existing pool and did a fantastic job. We get compliments on the pool every time we have people over. Our backyard was transformed into a mini vacation spot. We use them for all service and cleaning and we never worry about the pool which is great! The owner is very personable friendly and made my wife and I feel comfortable with him and the price. I have already Reffered friends and family and would suggest diamond pools to anyone.
