Over 35 years ago our owner, George Hoge, decided he wanted to start a swimming pool company in Louisville, KY. He had been building pools with some partners in Lexington, KY and decided to focus his attention on building pools in the city to the west. That decision led to the name Suntime Pools West, as we are west of the Kentucky River.
Our experience has taught us that adding an appropriate dose of shock, algicide, and enzymes under the pool cover during the winter can improve your water quality and reduce clearing and cleaning costs in the spring. In addition to the application of the suitable chemicals, our Winter Service Package includes removing leaves, debris, and water from the top of the cover, lowering the water level under the cover and adjusting waterbags and cover straps.A general inspection of the area and equipment will be done and the customer will be notified of any potential problems.

Amazing customer service! Everyone is great. Brian is very knowledgeable on the pools and products. I was four days into an above ground pool install, with a pool kit that I bought online (from a different company). The pump was missing parts. Brian and Suntime saved the day! We were able to find parts at Suntime and make it work. I cannot thank you enough!

We have been with Suntime Pools West for a few years now. They have been OUTSTANDING! Their techs are very pleasant, they are fast when you have an emergency and they are honest. I don't write many reviews like this but due to their customer service, I felt compelled to let everyone else know how excellent they are.

Wow! The staff here is amazing! Susan always helped coordinate with me to what best fit my needs. She would also call to make sure everything was completed. I dont know their names but everyone that installed the liner, pump amd filter was very courteous and polite. One guy even asked if it was ok to cut through the house! The techs that came out would also remember any commemts I made.
I had asked if they could remove an old heater. They have made reasonable promised and delivered on all of them. Susan even did a follow up phone call with me pertaining the removal of the heater. Everyone there is very responsive to any type of communication that you need. They also provided excellent recommendations for an electrician. I will continue to use Suntime West for all of my pool needs!

Buyer beware. Ensure you are an educated consumer before attempting to purchase anything from this store. I asked for a salt control panel, they said they had one and sold me the panel computer chip (amazon $185) for the panel for $300. When I went back to return it because it was the wrong product they tried to sell me the correct panel ($540 amazon) for $700. Definitely will not go back.
