We are a Sacramento pool company that specializes in custom in-ground pool construction and complete pool remodeling. We also assist our customers with equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance, general restoration and repair. Pool Time Pool & Spa is a Sacramento design and build construction company with over 28 years of residential and commercial swimming pool experience, specializing in all types of aquatic structures and water shapes. We understand our company's success is fully dependent upon the abilities of our employees.
At Pool Time, we love to design and build quality custom pools! We've been doing it a long time and each of us at Pool Time have many years of experience and we're artists at what we do, and love what we do. It starts with a visit to your backyard to measure the canvas. Once we have the preliminaries down, we can either enter them in the computer or do a free hand drawing.
At a certain point an older pool will need work done, and you'll need a company that provides professional repair and remodeling services. The services we provide often includes pool repairs, thorough cleaning, acid wash, plaster and tile resurfacing, and equipment upgrades. In addition, there are lots of modern features and enhancements, which include upgraded technology, water features, decking, safety fencing, lighting, heating, landscaping, and more.Pool renovations help you change your pool experience by creating something special, which in turn improves its value.

We enjoyed having our 20+ year old pool resurfaces in spring 2022. Great salesperson and the work crews were excellent and efficient and they did a good cleanup job, too. We selected the darkest color of micro-pebble and the water has a dark blue look as a result. The end result looks great! Service: Swimming pool resurfacing

Brian inspected my pool before i purchased the house, he then had my pool drained, cleaned, rebalanced and even help cap the old failing solar system that was leaking. Throughout the experience he was fair, knowledgeable and kind. He found ways to save me money and overall my new to me pool looks fantastic. rest assured your best interest is in hand when they are suggesting work needed. I am now a service customer.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness Very unhappy with quality of workmanship and customer service. Numerous issues and Joe, the owner, told me they would redo spillway issue and get answers for other problems. Never did anything and he or the company never return calls. I am filing a complaint with the State Liscensing Board. Services: Installation, Remodeling

These guys did an amazing job for us. We used pool time a few years ago for a brand new pool and spa in Roseville and we were very happy with their final product. We just went ahead and built another pool and spa with them. They didn't disappoint at all. They were right on time and finished the project in about eight weeks. Joe is a great guy and always gets the job done. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking to build a new pool.

Pool inspection was great, and thorough. Unfortunately they don't provide you the report digitally like all other companies during our hike purchase. It was $300 which I've learned is a home expensive. But I was happy with the man who came out and performed it. The customer service though is quite rude and outdated. I chose not to use them moving forward due to their costs, and customer service.

I hired Pooltime for their full service maintenance which included having our pool vacuumed. Unfortunately, their service technician never did so leaving the bottom of our pool covered in leaves. His service card showed he never vacuumed the pool. I suspect their technician was simply performing the wrong level of service rather than just being lazy. Pooltime never responded to multiple emails I sent them with photos of the issue.
You can see in the attached photo what our pool looked like an hour after their, "full service." After a few calls to their office, the owner contacted me saying he would stop by and make the issue right. He was apologetic but he never stopped by and he apparently didn't speak with the technician. At this point, I'd wasted way too much time just trying to get them to do the job I hired them to do.
The next week after we spoke, the technician still didn't vacuum the pool. I called to cancel my service and to ask for a refund. They mailed me an incomplete refund which was about $40 short. My subsequent requests for a complete refund for the month were ignored. If they ever get around to providing a full refund for the work they never did, I'll update this review. Mistakes happen all the time and I don't expect perfection. Pooltime was given plenty of opportunities to fix their performance. Based on the ignored emails, unkept promises to improve, and incomplete refund, I'd recommend using someone else for your pool maintenance.

We had a crack in our pool and needed to get it repaired. From the moment they came out to give us a quote to all of our interactions and all the work that the whole team has done we highly recommend them. We now use them as our pool service as well. We have Joey that takes care of our pool and he does an amazing job is very thorough. He is very knowledgeable and has excellent service.
The whole team has excellent service and are very professional. I like that you pay for the service as they complete the job when we had our pool under construction to repair the crack. I got three pool resurfacing bids and pretty much knew after I met with Pool Time's Joe, the owner, that we were going to go with his company. Joe was very informative and brought up issues that would improve our pool's efficiency. He's been in the business for more then 30 years and was definitely the most knowledgeable! The process took about 2 weeks and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Nina, was in constant touch with us from their office, helping with contract and organization, which led to less stress.
Their workers showed up on time, worked hard and always cleaned up before leaving. We chose the Radiant Fusion Micro Pebble Regal Blue, which was applied by their crew who are truly craftsmen. We had some extra sea life tiles added as well. Overall, this was one of the best experiences dealing with a company doing work at our home and I would highly recommend Pool Time Pool & Spa! We moved into our new home and were faced with a pool renovation. Pool Time gave us a great bid and Tristen was our project manager. From the beginning, he was straight forward, friendly and professional. We chose our tiles, concrete, and finish from the many options the Pool Time showroom has available. We were informed of the prices and scheduled when the work was to be done.
We were met with no surprises at all. Working with Tristen and the crew was an easy process. Each crew was very talented and professional. The crews clearly take pride in their work and left the work area clean. Time was taken to assure we were pleased with each step of the process. We were told what would happen next and the proper care of the pool. Tristen promptly responded to all phone calls. They have excellent customer service. Pool Time was everything we hoped they would be. The pool is beautiful, and we expect many years of enjoyment to come.
