The idea started to come together back in 1985, when a customer wanted an automatic water leveler installed on their existing pool. After evaluating the job, it seemed a shame to tear up the yard, the deck and the side of the pool wall in order to install the conventional water leveler device. The "what ifs" started popping into the mind of the original inventor, Cliff Kinkead.
If I complete a pool and there is no water leveler on it, the Aqua Lev is the easiest way to go. I am glad to know that I can put it in the equipment area and it will work great for many years. There have been many times that it has been economical to install a Aqua Lev, instead of tearing up the deck to install a water leveler by the pool.
The filter screen on the water supply line may have become plugged with sediment allowing no water to reach the sensor chamber valve. Clean the screen with fresh water and reinstall. Again push down on float assembly to check for water pressure. Pump must be off and air tight for automatic water leveler to operate.
