Pool innovations put pebble tec in our pool. They had the cheapest price and my pool looks beautiful. Our schedule got moved back by a day or two a couple times but either Maria or Carmine were good at communicating the circumstances with me. In my experience, I usually got a response the same day if I had a question via phone or email (make sure to leave a voicemail if no answer) or the latest response was by the next business day. Always polite as well.

Our pool was 30 years old and in bad need of repair. The plaster was coming off and rebar was showing through. We called 5 different pool repair companies including Pool Innovations. Two never responded after we left messages, one wanted a picture of the job texted to them and came back with a rediculous high price with out coming to see the actual job, and another called back wanting half up front and a trip charge to come and see the job.
We chose Pool Innovations because of their high customer ratings and many years of experience. They were out within a day to see the pool and gave us a very fair quote and a exact start date which they were right on with and two more steps done on the exact dates in the quote. The pool looks absolutely beautiful and they cleaned up everything around it nicely. We have other homes with pools and for sure Pool Innovations will be our go to company when we need pool repair and refinishing.

We had our pool replastered and new tile put in. After getting 4 quotes Pool Innovations gave us the lowest price. There were 3 stages and all 3 groups of workers that came were on time, focused, and cleaned up after they worked. I am very pleased with how the pool turned out. It's just beautiful. Stay far away from this company! The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. There is no communication whatsoever until a payment is due. They never showed up when scheduled and would just show up without a call. They leave their trash in both my front and backyard and the clean up is still not completely finished. Then when I call for an explanation I get attitude from Maria. Carmine originally quoted me a completion date "around the end of May".
The job was "completed" the end of September. This was after I had to change the original tile I picked for the inside AND outside of the pool. I was willing to be flexible with the hopes of actually having a pool for the summer but that did not happen. Identical to the other review below, my pool now has a big ugly ring at the bottom of it. The filter they replaced has no pressure.
When I asked Carmine what to do, he gave me a 5 word answer, "I sent it to warranty". The lack of empathy from him and just the overall nastiness when speaking to Maria completely blew my mind. I have been nothing but patient and understanding this whole time but to be treated this way is unacceptable. Looks like I am going to follow suit of another customer and file with the AZ ROC if I do not get this resolved quickly. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Oh and I never received the start up chemicals or the new aerator valve I was promised. BBB here I come.

A 3 week pool remodel took 7 months to complete plus getting the AZ Register of Contractors (AZROC) involved. Our pool was empty for 4 months. There is zero accountability from the owner, Steve, and salesman, Carmine. Carmine will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your business, but he will yell at you and not answer calls/emails when things go wrong.
Pool Innovations subcontracts the chip out and plaster/pebble of the pool. They give you zero timelines on when the work will be done for that and for tile/coping. There is little to no communication. If you have anything special on your pool (e.g. In floor cleaning system/pop ups, light, debris drains, spa, etc), they don't know how to handle that and act like it's your problem, not theirs.
The subcontractor gives you basic pool drains and fittings. Our in floor cleaning system requires debris drains and proper down jets. Pool Innovations wanted to put standard main drains and improper fittings that would not function properly with our system set up. They don't care about your pool unless you get the AZROC involved for abandonment and workmanship issues.
This is how we got our issues resolved once their license was in jeopardy and/or they were at risk of getting fined after being issued a written directive by the ROC investigator. We paid $1,000 out of pocket to get our pool working properly. Yes, we were reimbursed, but it was an awful experience to work with an unprofessional company like Pool Innovations.
To make matters worse, the owner is quick to serve you a mechanical lien for non-payment even when their work isn't done properly. No one calls or even comes to look at your pool from Pool Innovations to even ask if you are satisfied with their work.

Definitely no customer service oriented. I wish I've read reviews before I decided to hire them. Process was very attentive when Money process was involved, after that no phone calls or follow ups. They do not communicate well within company only once phone number to leave voicemails. They showed up in the wrong time when wasn't scheduled and when it was scheduled never showed up with not follow up phone call leaving my gate opened.
They changed tile options after we were told to choose from website and it turns out the one we chose was not in the price range. After and argument I agreed to paid extra to get the tile I wanted. I instructed Maria to call me to ensure they put the right tile when installation was scheduled. No call and they ended up putting the wrong tile. They came and fixed it.
Then after 6 -9 months a stain circle showed in the center of the pool, this is when everything went south. Carmine did his job on the sales process but he tried his best and instructed office to follow up but at the end is just sales. I talked to Maria my issue with pool looking bad with that circle, she said will work on it. A guy showed up and put gallons of acid to stabilize it and suppose to fix that area. It didn't work. After call after call I gave up they didn't do anything about it. Based on our experience with Pool innovations do not recommend them.

Critical: Responsiveness Incredibly poor communications! You never knew when or if they would be on site, they would just show up. I have warranty work that needs to be performed and, after they inspected the work and agreed to turn it over to warranty, I have heard nothing in 3 weeks. I texted Carmine and left messages for Maria and still no response. Service: Remodeling

So, we had 3 estimates for our pool and Pool Innovations was our choice. The work was supposed to start on June, 8th. At 3:30 pm I received a call from the scheduling department and was told the crew got stuck on a job and they would be out the following day. A few hours later we received a call from the manager saying the guy, Scott, who did the estimate had been fired and a new estimate would need to be done.
The manager was supposed to come out on the 9th, but never showed up or called back. I have tried to call and have heard nothing from them. Save your time and use a different company.

If you are thinking of hiring Pool Innovations for your pool remodel, DON'T! Run far, fast and do not look back! Despite stating they want the customer to be happy, this company made promises prior to signing the contract that they don't appear to have ever intended to keep. The complete lack of coordination between crews or communication with the customer, except when the project manager literally screamed at us when we raised concerns and finally failing to resolve any of issues after "completion" of the work have prompted this review.
What we experienced was far from the way they initially presented themselves and some of the good reviews on line. In the end, all issues raised prior to signing the documents and discussed throughout this process, including our still non-functioning bottom main drain and cool deck that requires aggressive scrubbing to remove any dirt that gets on it because they did not seal it, have been mostly met with excuses and refusal to address, except to say that they would be happy to seal the cool deck for the additional cost of $1.00/SF.
They have not even entertained fixing the pits in the Pebble Tec, nor have the removed all of the construction debris that remains in our front and back yards. They appear to be willing to say anything needed to get the contract, but leave you to find another pool remodel company to properly finish parts of the job that should have been addressed during the project, rather than leaving them for us to figure out after the fact. Save yourself the time, frustration and added expense and just go elsewhere to begin with for your project.
