First of all i try my best to by local but Everytime i go in plenty of people working just standing around talking never get asked if you need help always have to go to one of the desk to get any help there is one really nice older lady that is very knowledgeable and friendly but she is always very busy. Then if someone else helps you then they make it like they are doing you a favor and i can buy same stuff from else where have it delivered to my house for a better price dont like doing that but good customer service goes a very long way!

Do you enjoy having a warranty on expensive things you buy? Well, this isn't the company for you! But if you find yourself with thousands of dollars cluttering up your house and nowhere to store that pesky money, then let me tell you about this exciting opportunity. No longer do you need to have tens of thousands of dollars at hand; you can sink it all into this shoddy product and never have to look at it again!

Less than one year after installation: catastrophic failure when the pump cracked. Most of the water drained out. Medallion doesn't guarantee the parts they sell, and that's understandable because they don't MAKE the parts, so they aren't liable! And neither is the manufacturer, because they don't SELL it, Medallion does! So clever! So I replaced the pump at my own expense, and a few months later I drained the pool because it gets cold where I live in the winter.

Last weekend I began filling it again and it is leaking on all sides because the liner-- about a year and a half old, and has only held water for about half that time-- is basically a $1000 colander. That's right, folks, it costs $1000 to replace the liner you bought with the pool, because again, Medallion does not guarantee anything. I assume that's because they know the products they sell are complete garbage.

So don't be like me - don't spend $7500+ on their kit, plus $12,000 pouring the concrete pad it requires, buying the sand you need for the floor, and purchasing the materials to then construct the insulated cabinet that goes around a glorified steel Kleenex box; just keep your gym membership or get one of those ugly but covered-by-warranty swim spas that look like hollowed out beetle shells. Oh, by the way, the jet is NOT worth it; a three-legged kitten with asthma could conquer that current. If I was a witch, I would curse this place.

Don't waste your money. Ask for an in-writing warrantee that they will install the pool. They won't do it. Instead, they offer a list of contractors who are not legally bound to complete the job. Nor will do it for the offered price. You will end up with hardware in your backyard that you won't be able to use. A waste of $20 or $25K. Don't do it.

First, great customer service. Eye catching showroom with everything to satisfy your jacuzzi, spa/hot tub and pool needs. Like a candy store of all things pool related. Great resource for the tri-cities, Richmond, and surrounding area.

I purchased a 27' round Freedom in-ground pool from Medallion in February of this year and obtained delivery early summer. Number one, the list of contractors they provide on the sheet to choose from is useless. The contractor we chose spent 3 months telling us he would put it in, just to find out that our project wasn't 'large enough' for him to install.

That would have been nice to know 3 months prior. I finally found an installer that was gracious enough to fit us in. If installing that type of pool is beneath certain contractors, they should not be on the list. Secondly, when we started installing the pool, the seams in the interceptor coping weren't welded correctly and they weren't even at 90 degree angles.

In addition, Medallion only provided one stair rod that attaches the liner to the steps, mind you there are 4 steps. The pool installer and myself had to go to Lowe's and purchase wooden dowel rods and fasteners and cut them to the correct lengths. And thirdly, when I purchased the pool, I included a Lumi-O light in the package. The light they supplied was for an above ground pool, knowing that I had purchased the in-ground option that included the coping that concrete butts against.

As a result, I had to drive 1.5 hours back to Medallion in order to get the correct light, which they proceeded to charge me for. I do not recommend Medallion Pools. Learn from my mistake and directly through a pool contractor. It's faster and cheaper.

I'm at the end of my rope with this company. I paid over 14k for a swim spa that has never functioned. I've now left 4 messages for someone to call me back. I've had 3 separate contractors tell me that it's the power which is defected. and it seems this is under warranty, but who knows because NO ONE WILL CALL ME BACK. They do give you a list of contractors too use, but guess what. none of them will call you back either.

It feels great knowing that basically I've given this company a $14k donation. because all I have right now is a heap of useless metal in my back yard. I will update this review once I see how they are going to resolve the issue. But after all the issues and lack of response from them so far, I'm not feeling too confident. I'll call daily and post how things are going. but at this point, if you're considering this company. check out the other reviews and the patterns of where they lack. And run quickly in the other direction.

We purchased a spa from this company and installed it ourselves. We were looking for a hot tub/pool combo and something more economical and easy to maintain. This spa is something we can use year round! The customer service has been great! Any questions we had throughout the process have been quick and thorough. Very happy with the choice we made and would highly recommend this Medallion Pools!

We bought the pool in April 2020 and had a verbal commitment from their phone in their office with the installer for install in June 2020. We are now in October 2020 and the pool is not completed yet. We could not have imagined the issues, challenges, back ordered pieces, etc. Pete is great and the sale portion is very easy, but the install is a nightmare.

When we committed in April I could not have imagined the stress, quality issues, hassles, etc that would lead to a scenario of getting to enjoy the pool almost a year from purchase. When we were told it would install in early June we believed Medallion and the installer and that was a big mistake. Do your due diligence carefully, then do it a 2nd time to avoid the stress we have had to deal with in 2020. Verify, then trust on everything you are told because the amount of false information in this process has been mind-blowing.

We are pleased with medallion. They delivered on every promise and our pool kit was completed without issues. Now, buyer beware: they sell you a pool kit --- You need to hire installers, concrete guys, figure out what to do with excess dirt, hire fence installers, hire gas plumbers, pull permits and schedule inspections. It can be done , but it is NOT easy. I suspect this is why they have such a low star rating. Make sure you understand the effort involved before jumping into this project.

I recently worked with Medallion Pools for the replacement of my vinyl pool liner. It was an urgent matter as my existing liner was damaged just prior to the closing date I had set for the sale of my home. Medallion was so wonderful to work with, put a rush on my liner order, and had it delivered in their shop in less than a week after ordering. I worked mostly with Ashley Ralls throughout the process and she was wonderful! Kept me informed, dealt with multiple phone calls from me, responded quickly to emails and overall made the process seamless and easy.

It was a really great experience in a highly stressful situation and I can't say enough how much I appreciate them taking my needs seriously and working so efficiently. I would definitely recommend them to others for their home pool needs!

My wife and I purchased our pool from Medallion and were very pleased with the price of our purchase and the quality exceeded our expectations. The process was a little overwhelming, beginning with the purchase and all throughout the installation and finishing touches, but between Medallion and the installer we chose (M12 Solutions) we could not have felt more comfortable.

We were given all information necessary to make such a large purchase less nerve-racking. We were referred to our installer by several other customers and can understand why they came so highly recommended. All of the employees with M12 were very professional, friendly, and extremely hard working. They walked us through everything from permitting to final inspections and everything in-between. Between Medallion and M12 Solutions we could not be happier and we LOVE our new pool!

My pool was custom made quicker than I thought it would be. We changed our mind several times on the size and shape before we completed the order but Pete was amazing and was more than happy to discuss and make the changes. Our price for the pool itself was what Pete said it would be to the penny. But do be warned that the contractor pricing you get for the installation is very approximate and depends on other stuff that needs to be done to make the pool fit where you want it in your yard.

That said, this pool totally installed and landscaped costed me far less than having the same pool installed by another company in a previous house we owned! I would definitely recommend using Medallion Pools.
