Red Rose Pool Service Red Rose Pool Service opened its doors in September 2002 under the leadership of owners Deb Weaver and Brenda Miller. In a 600 sft carriage house and employing a staff of 10, we quickly grew out of space. Upon the increase of our customer base and inventory requirements, we were forced to move locations twice before settling in 2010 at our permanent facility at 1405 Vermont Avenue.

Red Rose Pool Service is a woman-owned pool service company that has proudly served central PA since 2002. We provide a full range of in-ground pool services to both residential and commercial customers, including openings, closings, cleanings, water chemistry management, equipment installation and repair, renovations, and more.
FAST service when you need it: our Rapid Response program offers access to emergency service, typically within 2-4 hours, even on holidays and weekends. Communication: we respond quickly and communicate frequently. We always provide a reminder the day before your service and can send a text message when we're on the way to your home, as well as a follow-up call after service to ensure satisfaction. We are a local, woman-owned business, and we're 100% focused on providing the best possible customer service.

President and co-owner Deb Weaver has been in the swimming pool business for over 22 years, bringing her vast knowledge and experience to her employees and customers. Deb handles the financial, marketing and purchasing areas of the business. Her expert guidance of this company has enabled Red Rose Pool Service, Inc. to grow and prosper in the customer's choice for commercial and residential pool service in Lancaster County.

Brenda Miller

Vice President and co-owner Brenda Miller takes the operational lead with our company. Brenda has over 10 years experience in the swimming pool industry and takes charge of our valued technicians, personnel operations, and expertly schedules all of the work to be completed for both pool service and the Holiday Lighting divisions of the company.

We called Red Rose to discuss a number of items we needed done to our pool. The representative on the phone informed us that they would be out the following week. When I called the day before to confirm our appointment, not only did they not have us in their system, they never called back to reschedule, and just left us hanging without any follow up. I will not be using this company in the future, and would not recommend them to anyone.

Horrendous company. Should be investigated by better business bureau. All of their extensions lead to marketing. They screen calls to avoid giving explanations to their customers for services paid for and not rendered. Apparently, when your service is scheduled in their system it is not actually scheduled, it is a place holder because their general manager, Paul, has to "put it somewhere." So all this time they scheduled us for the job to be done in May.

We called them multiple times to find out when they were coming and we got different answers. They finally show up but leave the job part way through without telling us why or when the job is to be completed. We call again multiple times over the next 2 weeks and are told it would be done 6/6. No one comes 6/6 and I call 40 times to talk to 2 people who tell me Paul will call back.

No phone calls from Paul. I call again a couple of days later. After 40+ phone calls, I finally get a hold of Paul who scolds me for calling their marketing line 40+ times because it's not going to get me to him. The marketing line is what is listed on their website. He then tells me that we are on the books for 6/14 and that we weren't "actually on the books for 6/6" even though we "were scheduled 6/6 in their system" but it's "a place holder". What kind of messed up business model is this?!?

We inherited a contract from previous home owner. Red rose took advantage of this older lady because they did a horrible job maintaining the pool. We were new to the area and decided to continue using them because they were familiar with the pool. Worst mistake ever made. They never show up for a scheduled job. You cannot reach them and they never return your phone calls.

If we hadn't paid a deposit we would've looked elsewhere to get the job done. They left mid-way through emptying the pool and never told us they were leaving or when they are coming back. 3 weeks later we are still trying to schedule completion of the work and finally got a hold of someone who stated the job would be completed today. It's late afternoon and no one is here to do the job.

The GM has not returned our calls. No one knows when the job is to be done. No one can give us our money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They take your money and provide horrible customer service and the job never gets done. Summer will be over before the pool can be used.

I had signed a contract with Red Rose well over a month before we were going to open our pools. The day they were supposed to start service, they stopped by for a few minutes to take the pool cover off. They were not heard from since. We called, emailed, left messages etc.no answer. We finally got through to "Paul" and over that phone call there was absolutely no answers or assurances that the pool would be open. We are now using new vendors and our pools are ready to go! These people are unprofessional, non-responsive, and I don't recommend them for a business owner or homeowner.

I was concerned something was wrong with the pool and called very early one morning on a weekend. Someone came right away and helped me identify the issue (it was not pool related) taking the time to really look around everywhere.

I used Red Rose pools several years ago and was quite happy. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped significantly. Since they took over this season (I had started by doing it myself), the pool quality has actualyl gotten worse. In addition, their customer service is quite poor. Although they're friendly and helpful when you can actually speak to someone, they do not pick up the phone. Their email responsiveness is better, but still barely adequate.

At the conclusion of last year's pool season, we began to search for a pool company that would be able to perform some minor tile and coping repair. Naturally we contacted the company who originally installed the tile and coping. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to help us. After doing a little research, we reached out to Red Rose Pool Service and they immediately arranged to attend to our needs. Recently, we once again were faced with a similar situation where our pool pump motor had failed. Again, we contacted the company who originally installed the pump and motor.

And again, the original company was unable to service the product they originally installed. We contacted Red Rose Pool Service and they replaced the faulty pump and had us up and running in less than 24 hours. We feel very fortunate to have "found" Red Rose Pool Service, LLC. Their quality, professionalism and responsiveness are second to none. They have become our primary contact for all of our future pool maintenance needs. I am on council for Colony Park Home owners association in York PA. We recently had to do major renovations on our large pool. Several pool companies we contacted declined due to the amount of work needed. One company wanted to charge us several thousand dollars just to come look at it. Red Rose Pool Service agreed to tackle the pool. They did a fantastic job.
