If you are looking to build a high quality luxury pool I highly recommend Denali Pools! Jordan did an amazing job designing our pool & decking and Henry and his team of builders made the design come to life. Of course there are always challenges with major construction projects, but Henry's outstanding communication, project management and customer service skills made a huge difference and delivered a pool right on time for the summer! I am going to be honest. We started out good and then hit quite a rough spot with our PM. He was super unprofessional and I had to get the owner of Denali out to my home to survey the dumpster fire of my pool. After the owner and manager saw what was going on things quickly shifted. We got Danny as a PM and he was freaking fantastic. He turned the sour taste around.

He was communicative and seriously Johnny on the spot. He was out at our property almost every day since he took over. If you are thinking about Denali pools request Danny for your PM.

Denali Pools built our pool and deck area in under 3 months. The project manager Hilario Torres was excellent. He communicated with us and provided information and guidance every step of the way. Even when Pegasus did not want to fix an issue with the UV system, Hilario came to the rescue and resolved the issue himself. We are extremely happy with our brand new house and pool. Thank you so much Denali Pools! We're ready for the Texas heat!

Denali pools did an excellent job of designing and building our custom swimming pool and spa, incorporating the new pool decking with our existing patio, and building a great water feature. Hilario Torres was our construction manager and was very easy to work with. He accommodated any changes we asked for during the build process and responded to text message in a very reasonable timeframe.

Denali Pools just completed our pool build in April of this year. The project was smooth and faster than expected, just under 3.5 months to finish. Jordan, our designer was patient and helpful with our ideas and designed just what we wanted. Nate was our construction manager and was responsive and professional throughout. We were expecting some bumps along the way, but were pleasantly surprised with the process and with the result.

I am so impressed with the professionalism that Jared and Henry showed on our dream backyard pool design and build. Jared was very patient through out with us and made multiple changes to our pool design on our request without any hesitation. Our backyard has 3 protected trees and he made the best pool possible fit in there and the design looked beautiful. Henry took over from Jared for the actual build and man this guy is fast and a master planner, there was not even a single day when the pool didn't make any progress, he had all his team lined up one after the other. Henry also worked with us on some last min. Changes without any hesitations.

I highly recommend Denali pool for their professionalism and customer centric approach. I was recommended by many Cody pools.but man I am so glad we went with Denali. I decided to do the backyard myself, hence only the pics of the pool. the whole pool was done in less than 2 months. keep up the good work!

Denali pools is a very competent pool builder. The entire process was smooth since design to final construction. I would shout out to Hilario our construction manager, that made a outstanding difference on construction phase, always communicating and very responsive for all requests and calls. Denali exceeded our expectations for this project delivering it with quality and on time.

We love our new pool. Worked with Keaton on the design and Nate was our super. We really made them jump through hoops but they were right there every step of the way. Even when things went sideways, Nate always stepped up and made it right. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend or neighbor; which we did. Denali is building two new pools for two of our next door neighbors as I write this.

We called a couple pool companies before reaching out to Denali. We were LUCKY and BLESSED to have called and get connected with Keaton our sales professional, he was there with us from beginning to end never losing contact with us after the sale. When the day came for construction we hit the jackpot again! Gabriel was assigned as our project supervisor.

From the first shovel to the last gallon of water he instilled a sense of reassurance and always answered all our questions. When Gabriel tells you he's going to do something CONSIDER IT DONE! If you're considering "diving in" and building a pool call Denali and ask for Keaton. THEN let Keaton know you want Gabriel to be your pool's project manager.

I was very nervous to decide on who we would use for our backyard renovation. We interviewed about 5 companies and although we liked more than one, the obvious choice was Denali. Jordan was a great sales rep. He was very honest and did not oversell anything. He was careful about what he said and we appreciated the his approach to our vision. He worked with our budget and went out of his way to make sure we were happy before we signed. Gabriel was the Super who managed our project from start to finish.

I got to say that I have never been so impressed by someone's honesty and work ethic. Gabriel is on top of every single action item. Although it took a while to get out project completed, it was still by the deadline he told us. I also appreciated that there was something significant happening every week. There was barely any down time. Overall trust and honesty is what we wanted and that's what we got.

My review is all about our incredible Project Manager, Gabriel. His responsiveness, professionalism and expertise is stellar. Gabriel was able to maneuver around our specific situation (in a valley, wet soil), he executed quickly and seamlessly. I also want to mention his cross-functional collaboration relationships with the contractors and the ability to communicate our vision and hold them to nothing but excellence. We're so pleased with our pool and have gotten many compliments.

We absolutely love our pool built by Denali! Hilario Torres was the Project Manager and he was absolutely professional, efficient & responsive. He communicated with us constantly about the timelines of the different work crews (who were all equally professional) & oversaw the project, keeping us informed throughout the process. Denali pools helped make my dreams come true. From design conception with Keaton, to pool completion with Gabriel, my project was a huge success. I interviewed many other pool companies before I decided to go with denali. This has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you Keaton and thank you Gabriel for everything you've done to make this a reality. Your knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic are superior.

Thank you taking the time to read our experience with Denali Pools prior to choosing a builder. While we have a beautiful pool, the process was unnecessarily difficult. Damage Groundbreaking was 10/23/20. Denali Pools was in custody and control of our pool until 4/2/21, when we had "pool school" which is the final step in pool construction and is administered by a contractor of Denali Pools, who also oversees the chemical set up and initial pool start up.

Our pool was filled starting on 2/6/21 and continued for two days. Denali claims that because their contract states the pool is completed when the pool is filled, they are no longer liable even though the control and custody of the pool is not handed to their clients until "pool school" is completed. Prior to the hard freeze over Valentine's weekend 2021 we contacted Henry, our construction manager, for advice on how to care for the structure and equipment.

We had to contact him several times and followed his advice to turn off our equipment even though we only had a few rounds of power outages, and then on Friday, 2/19/21 we discovered the filter and Bioshield were damaged beyond repair. Denali Pools did not initiate any contact with care instructions, and we had to press our construction manager for information.

We later were told by Denali's contractor for pool start up services that they issued freeze preparation and operation instructions to their clients, including Denali Pools, but as we were not clients of the contractor we were not included in that distribution; Denali Pools did not forward that information to us. After a few rounds of unhelpful and canned responses from our Henry about the damage, we contacted the owner of Denali Pools, Mitch Huntsman, directly.

While his communication was vague and led to misunderstandings about their willingness to take care of his clients and liability, he eventually stated that they would not cover the damages regardless of their outstanding contracted responsibility to train us in proper care for the equipment. We have paid for the damaged equipment, which later was found to include a damaged check valve, for $2862.49.

Although we were wary of paying Denali Pools the final payment before the "pool school" and custody handover was complete, their reputation, including their Better Business Bureau A+ rating, was so strong we felt we were going with a company that kept their promises and cared about their clients. We paid them on time and even hand-delivered their checks, usually the same day a request was made, but we became a lower priority once our final payment was completed. Mitch threatened to stop repairs and construction if we take legal measures to protect ourselves. Mitch stated their contractors are now charging more, and completion of our project and repairs will cause Denali Pools to lose money.

Time While construction broke ground on 10/23/20, the final deck painting was completed on 9/15/21, give or take a day. That's 328 days from groundbreaking, when normal construction time should have been about four months as stated in our pre-construction meeting on 10/15/20. In summary, Denali Pools took almost triple their estimated timeline to finish our pool; communicated late and poorly throughout the construction process; gave us bad advice to protect the pool and equipment during the ice storm even though their contractor gave them contradictory direction to what was provided to us, and then did not cover the damages.

Much like the rest of Austin, when the Covid lockdown started we decided to build a pool. This affected our price, and timeline, but there is no doubt any pool company would have been comparable price wise and I know for certain that people started building before I did and are still waiting to swim (my brother, haha). Obviously we had to do much more zoom, text and email communications than we would have had there not been a worldwide pandemic. Truly, that was the worst part about the job. Again, not Denali's fault at all. It's very difficult to pick out tile, plaster etc without actually seeing samples.

With all of that said, I am extraordinarily happy with my pool. It is everything I wanted. Henry and Eliza both get kudos for helping me build the non-standard /retro pool that fits my house style perfectly. All of the subcontractors they used were top notch and I even got some of their numbers for other projects I may want to do later.

Comes across as a top-of-range pool company with higher prices that assume quality. Delivers late ("because we have too many other jobs on right now to complete on schedule"). Leaves the job 'complete' without finishing the things that were on the quotation. Poor quality exposed pipes. Bad communication. Rebar (iron sharp objects) left on site. We are now getting quotes from other suppliers to finish the project.

We met with 5 other pool companies, but chose Denali and so happy we did! Everything went as planned. timing, quality, workmanship, knowledge and expertise were all A+ for us. When customer service seems to be lacking these days, Chris and Henry were top-notch! You can ask Henry anything about pools and he confidently knows the answer. They both went above and beyond for us and it did not go unnoticed. We have already referred several friends to Denali. Keep up the great work. It is much appreciated.

When we were looking to build our pool, we had two companies as finalist from the list we talked to. We went with Denali because of our interactions with Ryan, our sales guy. He was great to work on the design and picking the materials. He explained all the steps and everything we needed to do to get our pool done. He especially helped with getting what we needed for our HOA.

The main reason for my 5 star rating though is because of Gabriel. He was in charge of the build from start to finish. He was excellent in his communication. He responded every time in a timely manner and answered our many questions. He came on site often and came when we asked him to go over the answers to our questions in detail. He was great at following up with us.

He coordinated all the different groups of workers well and got them on site when needed. From the first day of the dig to when we were filling up the pool with water was less than two months! Gabriel handled everything and he made the entire pool building process smooth and stress free. We couldn't have asked for better service or a better experience with a company because of him. Hopefully you can request him for your pool build!

We were soooo excited about building a pool interviewed 4 companies and decided to go with Denali which was one of the higher end bids we received. We had a pool built by Denali and have been working for over a year since they came for the last check to get problems resolved and things completed that were not completed. Countless texts, calls, and more texts have resulted in empty promises or being ghosted.

I have another review with more details of our nightmare ready to post but hoping after posting this that the owner will call me back. I have left 3 messages in the last week. I have been dealing with Kurt, the site supervisor who promises things will get done then disappears for months at a time with no response. Here is just the tip of the iceberg.see just a few picture to understand more. *the sand that was dumped for the job was dumped into our neighbors ac unit.

We personally took it apart and cleaned what we could and it took 6 months to get Denali to get a professional out here. *contract stated they would put in a french drain to catch water runoff - what they tried to install was a pipe, not a french drain, where the grate to catch the water was higher than the ground therefore created a flood in our pool- we had to buy sandbags to stop the flood.

We ended up installing the french drain ourselves. *when they reinstalled the fence, they did a horrible job, broke part of the fence and then reinstalled the broken pieces. *the lueder around the pool was crooked and or cracked and needed to be replaced. This took 11 months after completion and 18 text exchanged to finally get done. Once it was done it took another 3 months to get the mastic joints filled.

These were finally filled. Not only did they leave a mess, but no one told us, so when our pack of 3 dogs when out, of course they stepped in it creating a bigger mess. This has now been 3 months and lots of promises that it will be cleaned up, it has yet to be fixed. *the electrical outlet they installed has not worked for over a year *the grass in our neighbors yard died because of where they put our fence.

They said they would replace it. 15 months ago. *we have been told an inspector came by but we both work from home and have never seen one and our construction documents are still on the fence. No one ever came to check the door alarms so we have asked for proof of an inspector in which we have gotten none. These are just to name a few. As with any construction, there were a few positives-they kindly replaced some of the grass in the front yard they had destroyed which was not in our contract.

They also drilled 2 holes for umbrellas which was not in our contract. I am happy to give them kudos for that but unfortunately this does not balance what has yet to be done. I hope to update this post soon so stay tuned!

Our whole experience building a pool with Denali was great from start to finish! We got several bids from the most reputable pool companies in Austin, but I felt like Mitch really listened to us and nailed the design. He worked closely with us to make sure that we got the most out of the budget that we had. Construction projects tend to be stressful, but our experience with Denali was pretty close to perfect. Gabriel, our super, was absolutely fantastic.

He was always polite and communicated with us and the vendors very effectively. I felt like we were well informed and knew exactly what was going to take place and when. Additionally, after the pool was completed, I contacted Gabe on a couple of occasions with some questions and he always contacted me back very promptly (even during a holiday!) and came out to help. We've had our pool for 3 years now and have never had any issues. This is a great company that stands behind the quality of their work and for that they get my highest recommendation. I would definitely work with them again!

After multiple calls and no responses I have to wonder if these guys are doing so well that they can just brush off 80-100k per person looking to build a pool. Must be nice.

Very disappointed. Scheduled appointment, confirmed with Jason. Emailed design ideas and current property survey. He arrived at appointment, did not open his bag, no measure, no photos, said he would check on some power line restrictions.never heard back from him. No follow up communication. As a real estate broker, clients often asking for recommendations, Denali would be on my "bad experience" list

Denali pools, specifically Mitch, the owner, Jerod and their team designed, built and delivered exactly what we wanted. Initially, we met with several different pool builders and had multiple design and meetings where we were able to vocalize our needs and expectations for our new pool, which were all incorporated into the final design. Based on price and overall design, Denali was the clear choice.

This was the 4th pool we've had built over the years and know that the entire start-to-finish process is stressful, but in the end, it went better than we could have ever expected. 1. Instead of being told what we 'wanted to hear', we were given realistic timelines. 2. They used the highest quality materials for the lowest dollar value. 3.

There was no slippage in the schedule (because our timelines were realistice from the get-go). 4, Best of all - once it was all said and done, we paid exactly what we were quoted in the beginning - not 1 penny more. The design / project mgmt. team was present and available throughout the process and delivered on-time and on-budget which says a lot for the integrity of the company, their dedication to delivering quality product and focus on maintaining customer satisfaction at the highest levels. I'm a client-for-life.

I contacted about a dozen different pool companies, read numerous reviews, spoke to neighbors with pools and spent an extensive amount of time researching online. After my initial vetting process, I ended up having 3 companies come out for a proposal. My first impression of Denali was very positive, based on my conversation with Mitch, the owner. He spent time with me over the phone answering my questions, didn't seem rushed and suggested Jason come out to take measurements and create a pool design for our specific needs.

When he stopped by our home, my initial perception was a tone of slight arrogance and he almost seemed to scoff at our budget, which is by no means low, especially in comparison to what other neighbors have spent on pools. We certainly have a slant to our yard, so I understood that would add cost, but it almost seemed as though he wasn't confident in regards to a plausible design in relation to what we wanted to spend and I was a bit bothered by how "challenging" he implied our project would be. I'm certain our yard isn't the only one with a slope.

About a week passed and I didn't hear anything and decided to follow up. At that point, Jason then explained he would need to send an excavator to "pre-site" my lot in order to ascertain cost. This was the only company that stated this was necessary in order to draw up a proposal and it was also after a solid week of no communication. I emailed him back asking if measurements were even taken. Interestingly, later that same day I received a proposal with a design that was quite lacking. At that point, it was evident we needed to move on with one of the other companies that treated us a a valued potential client.

In my opinion, worst company I have ever had to work with regarding a project.

We love our Denali pool! Outstanding customer service, super friendly and responsive staff, and quality construction. We could not be happier!

I have known the owner for over 5 years. He loves what he does and is great at it. If I were looking for someone to put a lot of creativity and great workmanship into a backyard oasis for me I would use Denali for sure!!

Our project manager Gabriel was superb and dealt with any hiccups that came along the way in a very professional and courteous manner. I would choose Denali again in a heartbeat!

I really enjoyed working with Gabriel Jimenez, the superintendent on our pool job. He was straight forward and responsive. He did a really nice job of managing the construction, which was complicated. I can recommend Denali overall and am very happy with the result!
