RCS Pool and Spa

Jon at RCS was great to work with. He stepped in as the project manager after another person left the company, and was responsive and very helpful. He obviously had a lot of experience which was a huge help to us, as this was the first time we installed a pool. We needed some follow-up work after the initial installation (to install something we could not initially install), and he was especially helpful with this issue - went out of his way to stay in touch regarding status and to ensure everything was completed and fully functional. Overall, we really appreciated working with him, and would do so again.

We signed a contract with RCS in Jan 2021, started the dig in June 2021, and completed by end of October 2021. There were many delays outside of RCS's control related to permitting, weather challenges, supply chain constraints, and unforeseen need to submit additional permits to analyze/remove trees that had rot. Reaves and the rest of the RCS team, including the routinely used contractors, put up with my unrelenting need to understand tasks, attempt to micro-manage schedules, and be diligent about coordinating dependencies throughout the process. They were professional and always happy to answer questions or resolve issues.

RCS Pool & Spa recently completed our backyard pool as part of a new home construction, and we couldn't be more delighted with the result. Grant Newsom and the RCS team consistently exceeded expectations around responsiveness, punctuality and - perhaps most important - patience with first-time pool owners. From design, to startup, to "pool school", Grant & team ensured our questions were answered, our concerns were addressed, and conditions for satisfaction were exceeded. Our thanks to Grant and RCS for making the experience thoroughly enjoyable.

Reeves and Jon were a great team to work with. We signed the contract in Feb '21 and were advised that the initial dig would be a few months out, but that then the pool should be completed in 3-4 months. The dig started in June and was done by mid-October - right on time and just in time for a couple of swims before it got too cold. The summer of '21 was likely one of the worst times to pick to have a pool built and friends I have around the country suffered pretty badly with pool build timelines - some are up to a year in construction and still not done!

It was pretty smooth sailing with Reeves and Jon. The accommodated design tweaks and materials updates without issue, and delivered a great pool that we can't wait to start to use in a couple of months' time! Thank you RCS!

We had a great experience with RCS Pool and Spa. Reeves was very honest and upfront about the cost and the delays we may face due to the pandemic. John, the foreman for our project, was super responsive and very good at communicating different stages of the project and what to expect. They are generally very busy and you may have to wait a while before it is your turn, but they are well worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Sadly, I did not have a good experience with this company. A rep came to view my property, walked me through a potential design, and advised they would revert in 3 weeks with a quote. It has been almost 2 months and no word back. The professional way to conduct business is to at least honor what was promised on site, or at the very least, return a phone call (I made 3).

While I appreciate that the population of residences requesting a pool is currently large and RCS probably remains busy, it doesn't warrant ignoring potential customers. Disappointing.

Reaves is simply the best--honest, organized and knowledgeable. Everything went extremely well and RCS was always planning one-step ahead to ensure the process went as smoothly as possible. We were most impressed with the commitment to exceeding expectations. One month after the pool was filled with water, we had a leak. It turned out that the landscapers had unknowingly damaged the pool plumbing. Reaves responded immediately, found the issue and made the repair. Additionally, he noticed a piece of stone on the coping that was not consistent with the others. He proactively had the mason out to repair it.

Awesome job. They had a team doing work every week and were done on time and on plan. So happy with our new pool and outdoor kitchen RCS really looks after the details - even down to the small drain covers in the floor. Their crews are real craftsmen.

RCS delivered with the finest quality and professionalism. We have to add that we are not the easiest clients- Extremely particular, to say the least. We will sing the praises of Reaves and his entire team a million times over and highly recommend to anyone remotely considering putting in a pool.

RCS transformed my backyard! We have an unusually shaped backyard with a severe slope taking up over half of of the surface space. Dave & Reeves were able to provide us a sanctuary that far exceeded our expectations in function and aesthetics. This is the first construction project in which the process & the finished product surpassed even our most optimistic outlook. We now not only have a backyard that will provide our family tons of enjoyment for many years to come, but it is incredibly pretty back there!!!
