We recently had our pool remodeled by Tribal Waters. I can't say enough about how beautiful it turned out. All the crews were very professional and respectful from the chip out to the tile to the deck work to the pebble to the final start up! We had the best communication with our scheduler Yolanda, who kept us informed everyday of the project happenings and who/when people were coming. She kept my days stress-free. James helped us with starting the pool back up after completion and knows all things pools, you can't go wrong with him! We went from plaster/blue tile to desert gold pebble sheen/beige tile. It has a beach feel and is exactly how we wanted it, the pictures does not do the final result justice! Thank you Yolanda, Jarrod, James and everyone one in between for your commitment to our beautiful pool!

Recently, our Pentair pool pump began emitting an irritating squeak. I reached out to the office and spoke with Michelle on December 14th. She promptly directed me to Brandon, the warranty and service coordinator, whom I sent a picture of the pump. Brandon efficiently arranged for Pentair service through Rick. The job was swiftly executed, and by December 19th, the bothersome noise was no more. The seamless coordination and effective resolution demonstrated by this team exemplify superior customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to rely on them for any future maintenance needs.

From start to finish, albeit 15 months, they designed a beautiful pool for us and provided excellent teams to do each section. People may not have realized that the pandemic had a massive impact on workers and supplies in every industry including pools! Knowing that, I was patient with timing. When workers came (masons, fence builders, pool dig, cement, shotcrete, deck, pebble tech, pergola, etc. etc.) they were fabulous in their art, professional, on time and cleaned up afterwards. Most was done during Arizona HOT summer. I could not be more pleased or impressed with the workmanship! I was in contact with the Project Managers the whole time and who couldn't have been nicer. Our general contractor, Dion, was above and beyond EXCELLENT in all he did--knowledgeable, experienced and hard worker! I know he was working around the clock with many customers, but he always managed to come out (Rio Verde foothills) and manage the large project; and, he was outstanding in all he did. Kudus to Nick, Yolanda, Dion and Matt--all doing various aspects in the very complex work of creating a pool from scratch and always caring about the end consumer--me! Love this company!

I needed a new cartridge pool filter to replace an aging sand filter that was having issues. They helped me figure out which one I needed, sold it at a very good price, and installed it within a few days.
Very impressed with how quick, professional, and thorough they are. Especially the way they handled the install, as they didn't just remove the old one and slam the new one in. They took the time to explain that we should replace the pad it sits on (it was cracked pretty bad with rebar showing through), reroute the electrical (the cord was too tight and in front), and re-orient the way the pump is facing so it was easier to access and fit better within the space. They did all of those changes for a fraction of what I thought it would cost, and it didn't take that much extra time.
I'll add one more thing as it showed how ethical they are. I asked the installer if we should also replace the pump as it is pretty old. He said no, it's working fine, explained how we know it's working fine, and that I should get the full life out of it. If he would have said the opposite I probably would have invested in a new pump, so I appreciated that.
The pool is operating a lot better now. I'll be using them again for additional pool remodeling work.

This is the second pool they have built for us and we could not be more happy. With all the supply shortages and interruptions in the supply chain we were expecting some delays in this build compared to our first pool which they built in 65 days. There were a few small delays with some of the sub contractors but that is to be expected with the shortage of talent in the labor pool.
Over all they did a good job and we got to enjoy our pool this summer. We are already working with them on the pool for our new home and their design team has been a big help with the design of the complete out door living space.

RUN WHILE YOU CAN! They do NOT keep their own appointments and timelines. Communication is poor. You have to hound them for a schedule and they don't show up when scheduled. You have to inspect their work. Found multiple mistakes. No attention to detail. Project was to be completed a couple months ago and we still have no end date insight. Very disappointed!
Please read the reviews and you will see the common complaints. We made the mistake of choosing Tribal Waters save your money and frustration and go with a different company.

These guys were the worst. Run away. So many things were wrong. $20k+ remodel took 2 months longer than contracted. They delivered and installed poor quality and wrong sized travertine. Waterline tiles were falling off. Tiles installed broken! They lied to my face on multiple occasions. They left many scratches in the travertine. Claimed they don't use sealers for repair, but I caught them in action!
So many lies. Getting then to fix anything was a fight. So much aggravation. Their idea of cleanup was to distribute the large pile of leftover sand into the rock around the pool.

My personal experience with Michael and Tribal Waters was 5 star. The plans came to fruition sooner than expected. Communication every step of the way along with top notch contractors. Thanks to Tony in concrete, Edgar in demo, Dani in the office. I appreciate the professional dedication to my vision. It's perfect! Thank you all.

My family and I just completed a build with Tribal Waters. Our project included a completely custom pool with spa, complete landscaping as well as several other features. Before beginning with Tribal Waters, I searched and got bids from several other pool builders in the Surprise, AZ area. While each pool builder was competitive, Tribal Water offered several additional options for a lower price.
On top of that, Dewayne (our salesmen) actually worked for the sale. Coming from 10+ years in sales, I appreciated his effort, follow ups and the fact he actually wanted our business. The process took 5 months from excavation to completion, 6 months from the date we made our initial deposit. I will be candid in saying that about month 3 / 4, my patience was lost and I wanted it done. However, through the process, Tribal Waters was communicative and provided updates during the long waits in between steps to the finish line.
We experienced several hold ups with shotcrete, concrete pours and with other odds and ends of the landscaping package. However, after speaking to several other people in the midst of pool builds and also speaking with our Supervisors during the build, it appears that the entire pool industry has been hit very hard with demand exceeding supply. COVID made everyone want a pool and the industry was not ready for it.
At the end of the day, I am 100% thrilled with my finished project. The pool has every option we wanted and is truly a well built pool. The spa works fantastic and is a great place to wind down a day. The landscaping is on point and the quality of the work, especially seeing it be built first hand, is well done. While there were a few "modifications" to our original design, I am very pleased with the finished product and my family and I have enjoyed many hours outside already, even though it's only a couple of weeks old.
My advice - Be patient and request realistic timelines so you are ready and able to accept the process. The finished product was worth the process, even though there were several weeks that I did NOT feel that way. Would I build another pool? Not during a pandemic but when / if the industry returns to a 8 - 12 week timeline - ABSOLUTELY.
