Preference Pools & Spas

OMG! We have an above ground pool and these kind people were the only supply store that answered their phone! We live in Medford and had an installer from Eugene and discovered our copling strips were brittle. I called around locally but either got no response or the voice box was full! They answered kind and helpful. They had the strips and enough of them! It was definitely the drive to and fro. I appreciated them answering the phone if anything! Thank you Preference Pools!

Came out didnt do what they promised in giving an estimate. Didnt even crawl under porch but promised someone would (family member)and give an estimate to reinforce porch. Charged 150.00 keep bugging me for payment when they did nothing went with another company for my hot tub you should too.

This little place has a ton of pool and spa chemicals, and a very knowledgeable staff.

Unfortunately the Google program doesn't let you leave no star reviews. This company is the worst to deal with and are very sneaky and tend to get caught up in lies frequently. Workmanship and follow through are the worst I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend that people look elsewhere for any services they are looking for. Upon digging deeper on this company you will find many skeletons and many very dissatisfied customers, I really wish someone had warned me.

Hello, I'm not usually 1 to write reviews but I do read them. So we are in the process of buying a home and Raymond is a super person, though we have not met face to face he has gone above & beyond to fix & inspect a therapy pool 4 us. Get this, for a handshake ( those of you that don't know what that means ask your parents/grandparents) and did the work & is still working on it. Very thankful. Deb & Paul, see you soon. :)

Great customer service: Not the first time, but I recently called with a flashing red light problem with my spa. Was told what the most common cause is and was able to fix it without a tech visit to my home. Highly recommend!

Great service, better prices than other local store, very friendly!

Extremely helpful and friendly. Walked me step by step through and the confusing details of owning a pool. Helped me troubleshoot my filter issues even though I bought the filter elsewhere

Overcharged for a pump. Did shady work and did not complete the job. End the end, charged me the wrong price had to get a refund. Their are better deals out there. Will not use them again.

I have dealt with this store for nearly 25 years. Good service and friendly staff. Prices are are on part with other spa retailers.

I buy most my pool supplies. The girl who works there is always very helpful and she obviously nows here stuff. Thank you!

They dont follow through with ANYTHING THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO. THEY DONT return phone calls, give you copies of your estimate, and I can say with confidence, but sadness, that they did not do one thing for me except take away my opportunity to have my pool done by a company that actually does work. I called at least 4 times (i know its more but we will stop at 4 to be kind), and NOT once did anyone return my call or do what they said they were going to do. BUT, THEY HAD ALL THE RIGHT THINGS TO SAY WHILE WE WERE ON THE PHONE.

I EVEN WENT DOWN THERE AND TALKED TO THE RECEPTIONIST WHO SAID I WOULD GET A CALL BACK. I ASKED HER IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM, AND SHE ADAMANTLY SAID NO. BUT, obviously noone told her about it, because THEY NEVER CALLED. As far as I know there are no other companies in the Roseburg area that do pool installation, and I was happy to wait my turn since this was not a planned job, but I wasted all summer waiting for a company that never even returned a phone call.

I never saw any estimate for the job either, although they said they came and did one. And to think we were going to pay them $85.00 PER HOUR FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE. Im almost glad it happened like this instead of DURING the job. That truly would have been a nightmare. Now we will have to pay someone to drive from out of town to do it. But, you can waste another summer or take the bull by the horns and get it done by someone that ACTUALLY has CUSTOMER service as part of their company motto.wish me luck!

Writing this does not make me happy, but THERE is nothing else to say! Sorry Preference. The only preference I see here is for yourself. I won't recommend this company to anyone. 1/5 for the receptionist.

So helpful and knowledgeable about pools. They set us up and got us started with our pool chemicals. We thought it was going to be hard and they made it so easy!
