Services
Barber's Chemicals is a distributor of products for use in the Industrial, Water, Waste Water, Commercial Pool, and Food businesses. We are located in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania and deliver up to 150 miles from our warehouse. In operation since 1959, we have extensive background in solving problems associated with these industries and a commitment to making your process as streamlined and efficient as possible. We do this with the right products, equipment, technology and people so that you can spend your time most effectively.
The Barber's Chemicals service department has been a natural outgrowth of our company's desire to meet the needs of our customers. When our customers ran into problems, we were happy to lend a hand. Over the years, we gathered more and more hands-on knowledge in helping customers, and gained more capabilities in every area of pool, water treatment, and wastewater treatment equipment maintenance and repair. The service department has taken several forms, and for the last eight years we have had a dedicated full-time service department.
As you have certainly heard, due to a fire at a chlorine manufacturing plant in Louisiana, there will be a shortage of chlorine available in tablet form. This has many of our customers concerned about the availability of liquid chlorine for the 2021 season. As of this time, we have no reason to be concerned that there will be a Liquid Chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) shortage. At Barber's Chemicals, we have always believed that the liquid chlorine is a superior product both in terms of performance and cost effectiveness.
Few resources are as valuable as clean water. We take for granted that the water that comes from our faucet is safe to drink, to cook with, or to bathe in. This is true because of the many processes, products and personnel that provide clean water. Whether pre-oxidation, coagulation, settling, filtration, or chlorination, each process requires special attention and products.
