I've never been treated more rudely in any establishment I've been in. I was looking for some chemicals, I don't remember what, dry acid or something. Not shock. I called ahead to ask about it and was talked to in the most condescending tone ever and told that the terms I was using for the names of the chemicals were wrong. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to go in in person, because some people aren't as good over the phone.

In person it only got worse. The woman working the front counter had short hair, can't remember her name though. She acted like I was bothering her with my presence. I stayed really chill the whole time and continued to ask my questions and she remained very rude, short, and condescending while, what seemed like reluctantly, showing me the chemicals they had for what I needed.

I was desperate for chemicals because neighboring pool stores were out, so I bought my chemicals and left the store. Then I immediately got on the phone with my wife and told her "I don't care if we are desperate for chemicals ever again, I will never go back to this place and tell everyone I know to steer clear of it." Admittedly, this was last summer and I was upset but very busy and forgot about writing a review. But I just drove by them right now and remembered! Here's that one star review I've been meaning to do since last year!

Very very rude people working here. I was looking for some shock and as soon as I walked through the door a lady asked can I help you very rudely. I stated I'm just looking for some shock for my pool. Her response was I can't sell it to you. I said why not. She said she can only sell it if she can test my water and that she doesn't see any water in my hand so she can't sell it to me.

I'm glad she was so rude so fast before they ever got any of my money. I went to rising sum pools at white oak and they were very nice and helpful not rude like this place. I suggest to find a different place to get your pool needs

Gentleman that answered was very rude. I asked if there was any shock available to buy at the Garner location and he proceeded to ask me if we were regular customers (which we haven't been) and he literally said they take care of their customers only. We could have been new customers but evidently you don't need any more! Good luck with growing a business with an attitude like that.

I called to inquire about opening our pool about a week ago--the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude on the phone and told me that the earliest they could open our pool would be May. I asked to schedule an appointment for May and she told me that they "didn't do that." My husband called today and now they're not taking appointments until June. How does that even work? Please hire someone with some skill in speaking to actual human beings and an ounce of common courtesy.

I received the best service today. I called and told the lady what I needed. She had two customers in the store and asked could she call me back. "Of course." She called me back, I paid for what I needed then my teenage grandaughter went to pick it up. What a blessing they were! My grandaughter for picking it up and Capital Pools for making it so easy.

Lady at the desk extremely rude and ill mannered from the moment we walked in the door we won't be going back, worst customer service I have ever received, we will find some place else to get our pool supplies from now on she also asked us to get our one year old to be quiet when he was playing by himself at the toy table. Now after looking at the reviews I am not the only one who has received this treatment, which was clearly apparent from the moment we walked the the door. Word of advice you should find some different help and your sales would probably go up.

I recommend Capitol Pools in Garner 100%. Jessica took care of my pool ordering, let me know when I could pick it up, set me up with installers and helped me get my chemicals straight right away. They will continue to have my business for my pool supplies and care for my pool in the future! Great Job!

Great ppl, very knowledgeable and friendly, they know what they are doing. Jessica is always helpful anytime I have a question she never minds helping me out and our pool looks great and it's all because of them, Juan closed and opened my pool and did a great job. And when I called around they were the only ones I could get to come out and give us an estimate, and Ben showed right up and went over everything with me and when I called them back to start the job they were right out and got it done. We are so happy with this company and buy all of our supplies from them to pool looks awesome thank u guys so much, I highly recommend these guys.

I am a first-time customer of Capital Pools. A new heater was ordered and installed very timely and professionally. Ben goes way above and beyond to take care of customers. We even had a small snag with the gas regulator and he handled it with the best customer service you can describe. Highly recommend this business. Their communication skills are also great. We will be switching all our future pool service needs to this company.

Went to pick up sand for my Intex 2650 Sand Pump. I needed to figure out how much sand I needed for the new system. Before going, I called and the employee there was very short with me. When I got there, All the guy wanted to do was stare at his IPhone while listening to me. Then had to google the answer for the quantity of sand. On top of that, he gave me the wrong answer.

He told me 50 lbs, I bought 100 lbs just in case and I'm glad I did. When I filled up my system, it took 100 lbs. I will be going to the Goldsboro or Selma office next time.
