My pool was put up by Ratliff Pool Center May 19, 2021. On May 20,2021 I noticed the ground was wet around one area of the pool, this was less than 24 hours after being put up. I called RATLIFF and told them it was leaking. They reassured me it was not and to continue filling with water. I called them again when my pool wasn't getting full and they had me turn the water off and mark the water level.
The next day I called them back and told them the level was down about 2 inches. They immediately sent someone out to patch the leak and I was told by Penny, she would replace the liner and have it installed at no cost. I called about a week later to see where she was at with getting my new liner in. She then informed me that the cause of the leak was Ants.
She said I had an ant infestation in my yard and that her guys told her that there were ants when they set the pool up. She was not going to replace my liner because it was caused by ants. Penny said it was sent off to the manufacturer and put under a microscope and determined that it was caused by ants. First of all my pool should have never been put up because you, yourself told me your guys knew there were ants in my yard making you responsible/liable. Secondly ants couldn't have done that in less than 12 hours.
You lost my business and at least the sale of 2 pools that I know of because of my experience and I'm hoping to reach many more. You should stand behind the product you're selling and your word should mean something to the customer.

My pool has never looked better! Penny and her crew provide exceptional customer service, always with a smile. They have taught me how to do the routine maintenance (very little needed with a salt water pool but very important) which has allowed me to enjoy our pool even more! We could not be more pleased. Thank you Ratliff Pools!

Today I was told they have pool chlorine tablets (aka gold) but will only sell to their loyal customers. Loyal customers are those who buy all of their chemicals from them and regularly have water tested through them. I am a new customer who just in mid-may purchased 4 bags of pool sand through Ratliff. I was also going to purchase a replacement filter clamp today, however that doesn't seem to be enough to be part of the "club".
I am a potential loyal customer who was prepared to pay you nearly a $120 for a bucket of chlorine tablets and purchase the clamp ( who knows what other future purchases). However, since I don't qualify for the (in group), I'll take my business elsewhere. Just as a thought, loyal customers were all new customers to begin with.

This place is amazing with awsome, helpful, kind and fun staff and owners. Very patient and helpful with every question and concerns we had took so much time with us to decide. They seemed to really know their products. This place was a bit of a drive for us but would suggest the drive for honest good people. Thank you so much Sheri, Katie, and Penny for all your help.

This is our first above ground pool, the reason I gave one star is we had numerous issues. To start with once the pump was hooked up the guys packed up and were leaving. I had to stop them and ask "what do I do next" his answer was " once your water reaches the proper level ( I had to ask what that was) turn the water off, pull the hose out and your good to go.
They leave a box full of chemicals with no directions as how, when, or what order to put in the pool. I later find out no chemicals had been added so I truly was not good to go. I wasn't showed how to back wash, hook up the vacuum cleaner, and again remember I've never owned a pool so shame on Ratliffs for assuming I did. I was told they were out of pool poles, and I had to make arrangements to get one picked up. Lastly, I was told that I need a cap to put in the skimmer to clean the pump, I called and asked for one, it doesn't come with the pool, and I could use a strong lid such as a Tupperware lid. I don't understand why what should've been a exciting time turned out to be such a bad experience., So would I recommend them. not likely.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous employees, great prices, great service, awesome products!
