Bill from Bella Vista Pools has been our hero. He designed our pool to our liking and adjusted to our continuous changes. Our pool is the talk of the community and our neighbors have asked me multiple times for Bill's number. Bill has also continued to service us and respond promptly at all hours of the night when we have questions or cannot figure out how to use our system. We are so thankful for Bill and will only use him for our pool and bbq desires in the future!

Bella Vista Pools came highly recommended by neighbors who had used them - and we were not disappointed. Sure, construction always takes longer than anticipated and there are frustrations along the way (especially during the pandemic) but Bill did a great job navigating us through the whole process and gave us the pool we wanted. Bella Vista also does our weekly service. highly recommend them!

Currently in the middle of a project and communication has been pretty bad. Work so far seems to be coming out pretty good (based off my unprofessional eye). Just be ready for the communication to just be completely off if you're the type that likes to be in the loop. If you're the type to just sit back and let them do their thing without being communicated, then you're good.

*update.we still are in contact through text. He came out took pictures of our unfinished pillar 2 weeks ago. Said that it would be taken care of by that Friday. Friday came and went I reached out he then said the following week I told him Thursday and Friday we were out of town I agreed to leave our gate open so they could come fix it he was ok with that.
Then he reached out to my husband and said he wanted us home so it would be Monday again. Monday came and he text again rescheduling to Wed. If this were my business I would have made sure this was handled months ago. You would think that he'd make it happen sooner so he/we could move on. It's end of August and still waiting. Very disappointed in some of the final finishes of our pool.
There is some detail issues we need completed/fixed and the owner Bill on several occasions has said yes we will fix it through TEXT message how ever the last message I sent over a week ago he never responded to. Our pool has been completed over 2 months and he hasn't made time to fix our issues. One of our pillars didn't get painted all the way and we have been trying to get this finished for months.
The construction team he had wasn't very good on details. Some of the pour in place cement they did is crappy. The same pillar that needs paint finished is now chipping away. Bill stood in our home and said once we sign the contract I will be completely available to you what ever you need and to answer all questions and concerns. He's doing a pool behind us and can easily just stop over and have this fixed.
I guess once the final payment is made it feels like it doesn't matter anymore. We were missing a skimmer for our filter and let him know also and never brought one by. We had to come out of pocket to buy one. Also the pool maintence guys he has working for him also are horrible no communication and wasn't interested in teaching us how to maintain our pool.
If I could go back I would have chosen another company. We spent a lot of money to get our dream pool and this experience was not what we expected. Be careful choosing this company.

I built a custom home in Newport Beach in 2017, wow what challenge. I was alarmed at the level of supervision that the so called professional contractors needed. One of my few true professional contractors was Bill from Bella Vista Pools. Bill built an amazing spa that is the center piece of our backyard. From start to finish he was very thorough.
He explained exactly what he would be doing and our timeline. At the most critical stage of construction he stood side by side with us to confirm plaster color was exactly what we wanted. I have texted Bill numerours times asking him questions about my spa's maintenance and he has replied promptly and accurately. I have even had him fix another contractor's mistake. Total pleasure working with Bill and his crew. Their professionalism and quality is unmatched in any of the product I've ever done. There on time there on budget and they communicate very well and for a pool builder that's rare. I never had a problem getting a hold of Bill, he was responsive to all my needs and my changes. Bill is the man when it comes to pools! He is a pleasure to work with and is always positive. If you are looking for a trustworthy contractor, this is the man to see right here! Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. A lot of other contractors will tell you what you want to hear to get a meeting but then jack the price up on you later on and waste your time. Bill did an AMAZING job on our yard! He has transformed our backyard to resort living. We had quotes from all around Orange County and he was far below other bids. A friend in Irvine referred us and she was right, Bill was professional and delivered everything we asked from beginning to end! Although we had a horrible rain season, Bill still had his team working any day there was sunshine. even in the rain at times! Thank you Bill for providing an amazing backyard for our kids to enjoy for years and years! Anyone I know building a pool will be referred to Bill by our family!

We used Bella Vista to remodel our existing swimming pool. We kept it simple and just changed to a salt water system, plaster and tile. Bill was very professional and helped us do the project at a reasonable price. His team was on time and worked clean and neat. The project took three weeks from start to finish. We are super happy we found Bella Vista.
We had looked at a few other companies but so many of them were not working with the proper licence and insurance. Bella Vista provided us with a clear and concise contract and stuck to the plan as agreed. We would recommend them to all of our friends!

Bella Vista Pools has created an Elegant design backyard swimming pool w/ spa. The whole construction experience was incredibly pleasant, Bill and his staff are very professional, they finished before schedule, very clean. I would recommend Bella Vista Pools the whole experience made me feel like I invested my money wisely. Now to enjoy my back yard paradise.

Where do I start? I thought hiring a pool company to oversee and implement my pool project would be the safest way for me to go, versus hiring my own contractors etc. It would be worth the extra money right? NOT!
Bella Vista took my money and hired UNLICENSED contractors who had crews of employees and NO WORKERS COMP. When I questioned this, I was told by the owner himself William (Bill) Mclehaney that it wasn't his problem, it was mine.
The work was sub standard at best and the timeline was ridiculous. They used the lowest quality materials, resulting in my yard only looking nice for about a year. Now it's falling apart - literally! $9,000 for new rock work. Be careful people...Bill prides himself and states frequently that, with the exception of the hardscaping, Bella Vista does pools in 12 weeks. Ha!
Not true! Not even close! My pool, while pretty is only a half-day pool. Meaning when they installed the pool lights they messed up to the point that you cannot - and I do mean CANNOT - see any of the steps to get into the pool. I paid well over $100,000.00 for a pool I can only use during daylight hours. The light that should shine on the steps in COMPLETELY obscured by an incorrectly installed baja step, making my pool nothing short of lethal to get into after 6pm at night.
Once again, I was told it was 'my problem' not theirs. Seriously people - you will read a lot of wonderful reviews about Bella Vista. You will meet Bill and love him. You will see many beautiful photos of pools and yards. BUT if you go ahead with Bella Vista Pools, you are taking a major risk. Their A+ rating with the BBB is a farce. They lie and brow beat their clients into not making complaints and then they fail to follow through with corrections to THEIR mistakes until it's too late for any complaints to be made.
BUYER BEWARE!! To fix everything in my yard so it is to code and not dangerous, I am spending well over $40,000.00.
