Thanks Rainey Pool Company for the best pool we could ask for! From day 1 of measurements and design, to the picking out materials, Glenn made it effortless! Charlie thanks for putting up with every question, and meeting all timelines, making the entire construction process very smooth! Y'all did an amazing job, and we couldn't be happier! They truly are the best in the business and there work, entire company show why! Don't look anywhere else for your new pool or remodel!

Updated review. The company followed through on the owner's offer to replace the flagstone pool coping. It is now the color we selected and it is beautiful. I will upload new pics if I can. Original review: Our experience has been mixed. The design and contract experience was smooth, responsive and efficient. Overall, during construction the project manager was responsive. However, we sent an email with a concern about the flagstone coping not looking like what we had selected as soon as they delivered the slabs of stone to start installation the next day.
We expressed a concern/question that this did not appear to be the coping we had selected. The project manager said she understood and spoke with the installers to ensure only the 'grey' not the yellow/orange/rust color pieces were installed. I have many pictures and emails showing the issues. They continued to install - and replaced some of the really heinous pieces.
The installer did not replace the mismatched dark/light corner pieces I had emailed pics and points out specifically to him. He only replace one of the 4 corner piece issues. A month or more after the majority of the pool completion - they replaced one of the coping pieces that was still really bad (I had flagged it previously) and they installed a piece of flagstone around the skimmer to stabilize it.
Those two pieces are still 'grey' and not yellowing/showing rust after a month of being installed. I emailed the sales rep who we made our selection with and the project manager to again ask "Did you install the right coping flagstone?" So, far I have been asked to submit additional pictures and the PM explained that 'yellowing' was due to rust deposits coming through.
That does not explain why the two newer pieces did not show the same 'rust' and yellowing after more than a month in place. Still working with the PM but not hopeful they will resolve this issue.

We recently used Rainey to install a new filter and heater on our pool. Candace handled our deal and she was unorganized and inefficient. We were misquoted on the price by roughly $450 because she forgot to tell us about the cost of the plumber. When we called to figure out what was going on, she agreed to "waive" the charge since it was not what we had agreed upon.
The heater has been installed and they have yet to schedule the plumber out to come and do his piece, it has been almost a full week. Now, the cost of the plumber has increased. Tim will not return my husband's calls. We have cancelled our monthly services (for which they showed up 5 days late) and they have yet to refund our money for the remaining time frame. We are just at the beginning stages of fully upgrading our pool and they will not be getting any more business from us. I was so disappointed in how they handled business.

Rainey built a pool for my ex husband and I a few years back and the experience was alright but lacked when I last dealt with them. I recently purchased my own home with a pool and had many questions so I went Into the store as they were my go to. Their secretary Jennie was efficient and so friendly she provided me with all information needed and even when she ran into something she didn't know she made contact with another department to make sure my questions were answered.
We are looking to remodel our pool and Rainey will def be our choice, as customer service alone is stellar. With employees like this rainy will go far! Thank you for our experience!

Do not use Rainey! Very unprofessional staff. We signed a contract early Nov. 2018 and we are still in the process mid April 2019. Do not expect anyone to oversee construction. We have neighbors who have started pool builds after us and have surpassed our build. I would be happy to give more detail about the horrible process we've dealt with. Also, I'd be happy to recommend the builder we wish we'd gone with.

Disappointed. We went in to ask about building out a new pool. Was told to go home and they'll call because they're busy. But then Tim Jr. came downstairs and said he was available. So we sat and discussed and he came by the week after to do an evaluation. After that, he left and said would contact me back. Waited 2 weeks nothing happened so I decided to call. I called, left messages, voicemails, for over 2 weeks. No response. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Well, they are in the middle of building a pool for us now. I have not been impressed. The workers treat our property like one giant garbage can and their own private bathroom. We rarely get updates on when someone will be here to work on the next stage of the pool. We have gone almost 2 weeks with not a single call or worker showing up. And this has happened time and again during the construction process.
At this point they have 95% of our money and still have yet to texture and coat the decks, plaster, clean-up and start-up. If I had to do it over again I would not sign their standard contract or payment schedule. They would be much more interested in finishing if I had a chunk of money hanging over their heads. I can't speak to the overall quality yet but I'll update this as we gain more experience. Either way, beware of what you will endure with Rainey during the construction process.

Beautiful pools, but EXTREMELY HORRIFIC service. Their staff's response to my complaints about customer service was that this is w/ everyone. I would bet that there are companies out there that pride themselves on quality AND customer service. Once the job was complete, and we paid the balance in full, it took nearly two months to get Rainey to submit it to the city to pass inspection.
Even more egregious, see the picture in my profile setting of the slate/stone that is falling off. We cannot get Rainey to come back out to fix it. The pool is not even six months old. They tell us that they are coming out, but it has been a month and a half, and still no response. We are still under warranty, as well. It might be easier to swallow if the staff and the owner seemed to care.
Unfortunately for us, their poor quality build on this back section of pool coupled with their poor customer service is where we are at now. Shockingly, it appears that this serves as a nuisance to them when we call for a follow up. We are very disappointed, and will no longer recommend Rainey Pools.
