Make sure the outdoor water and power is on. We need to get entry to the pool and its system and components. If those areas are locked areas, we need keys or lock codes prior to the appointment. For pools with safety covers, we advocate you add (1) quart of algaecide and (5) gallons of liquid surprise to the pool in mid-April.

From start to finish Grimes Pools was excellent to work with. They had exactly what we needed for the pool we had in mind. they ordered it right away. The pool kit and equipment is top notch quality, we are very impressed with it all. Plus James was there the whole way to answer any questions we would have, and believe me we had a lot of questions. I highly recommend working with Grimes Pools for your new pool.

As first-time pool owners, we couldn't be more satisfied with Grimes. Our pool is not only beautiful, and exceeds our expectations, but we are also blown away by the customer service. Unlike so many companies- when they say they'll be there, they will actually be there! On time and pleasant! I am so grateful for each employee who worked on our pool- they are skilled, polite, hard-working, and committed to making our pool perfect! PS- they are patient & kind. When I freak out because I have no idea how to change the filter, (each time I try, I freak out), and each time they walk me through it without making me feel like an idiot.

Grimes pools! Let me tell ya! I had a appointment for them to be to me at 11! Spoke to them twice this morning hubs took time off work to have my pool opened. Spoke to them at 9 am and 10 was told nonnish had 2 spa setups before me but they'd be here! Well 3pm rolls around no call no show! So I call them just to be told it would be 6pm or later before they got to me.
I asked why no call I've been waiting all day I was informed that they don't call customers when they're running late that's how they do business for 22 years Scott had worked there sorry but that's just the way it is. I returned a call requesting a manager. To be told he heard the whole convo and courtesy calls to customers is a impossible thing to do.
After I was told they sent them to a emergency issue in Bedford. So when they added jobs to their service men it's to much to ask for a call to their paying customers they pushed back? Needless to say I'll spend that money on chemicals and do it myself! Do not recommend Grimes Pools and Spa out of Bloomington to anyone!

I had used Aqua Pro in Bloomington previously and they were very good but will no longer offer help because I did not buy my hot tub from them. Grimes Aquatech was very willing to offer help and in a timely manner. My hot tub was fixed quickly and doing fine. Guess who has earned my business and who will I recommend? Grimes!
