We will call the uitilities people to go out to your house and verify the location of utilities (they use identifying stakes with flags). Normal digs usually take no longer than a day, depending on what time the excavator gets started. The pool is over-dug and may appear quite large. The steps will not be very noticeable at this point except for a bit of a ramp.

We got a pool from POOLSBY, late last year and we got a flexible payments terms with best and efficient service provider, they have started the excavation and finish between 5 working days, then the pool has arrived the next 2 days completed in 10 workings days, hand over in 15 days with heat cool unit, it was been a beautiful experienced, with all team effort to finished it before Christmas, service was good and amazing team that you can rely on :

A clear NO GO! Never again. 1. Consultation as part of the sales process => none, we had the impression that they quickly wanted to sell a standard pool and get on to the next job. In the end we agreed on a design which Pools by Design approved and confirmed that it is in line with all the requirements. 2. Installation => very fast, this was the positive experience that the whole set up took little bit more than 4 weeks from starting to dig until we could jump in the pool 3.
Cost => at the day of final check and handover, PbD informed us that we have to get an approval from the Dubai Municipality and that additional features like fence, outdoor shower, and spare pump have to be installed plus AED 20.000 Fee for getting the approval. AFTER the whole set up and installation has been finished! Here it started to get nasty.
We had written prove that in the final agreed price all cost including the approvals, admin cost or fees for the Developer/Community ect. are covered. In the end they said that "the rules have changed" and we have to pay these additional cost. As we want to ensure that our pool is done by the books and all required approvals are in place we swallowed that pill and agreed to pay this extra cost 4. DM approval => Guess what?
After agreeing that we will get the approval via PbD, nothing happened up to now. 5. Quality / after sales => from the day of installation we experienced some hollow sounds in some parts of the pool. After 3 month some areas of the pool became curvy and uneven. One of the technicians from PbD came for a side inspection. Without detailed inspection just by hearing the hollow sounds, he admitted that this has to get fixed and that they will send a team.
It turned out that PbD simply didn't compress the ground area under the pool shell properly, there is no cement or just sand under the effected areas and the water pressure is causing the deformation. Again, nothing happened. After requesting a final report and how they wanted to fix this issue they came back with an email, blaming us that it is our fault.
Out of "graciousness" they will fix this issue, but would not take any responsibility for that deformation. Until now, no rectification has happened and they did not even have the courtesy to reply to our emails. => Stay away from Pools by Design.

A few days after my pool was installed I realised that one side was curving in. When checking with Pools by Design they brushed the issue off although the pool was under warranty. Tiles started falling off or cracking due to the pressure. Pools by Design did not care. I was then forced to retile the pool for around 12,000 AED. A few years later tiles again started falling off and parallel to that I realised that a rust like colour was appearing and discolouring the grout and tiles.
When I asked Pools by Design to check they stated that this is very normal and that they will not consider the fact that I retiled with them the entire pool just a few years ago and that we would now have to redo the pool for another ca 23,000 AED. The emails you receive when questioning anything is without care and professionalism. They give it no attention.
So now I have a pool which is curved with many tiles missing and rust like marks. Pools by Design is very unprofessional and delivers pools that look nice in the short term but will not last long. Be very careful if you consider the purchase as I would never recommend purchasing from them as I have had nothing but a negative experience.

Pools By Design LLC team has done an amazing service specially on designing a swimming pool, with a proper channel of approvals in all authorities.and on site works they are very receptive team on all the aspect of works, firm and well-organized.we will endorse this company for another client who has plan to install a new swimming pool or landscape works on their villas.

I was delighted with the services of Pools By Design. The pool is beautiful and has made a world of difference to my small garden. However, that was the initial impression. I have been trying for over a year to get someone to fix the light properly. Other companies have told me that it was incorrectly installed and no one from Pools By Design will even discuss the issue with me.
They only care about the warranty. I am happy to pay for this problem to be fixed but my emails and attempts to speak to anyone have been in vain. If you value customer service and not being treated like an idiot, avoid this company.
