Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value This company recently sold and the new owner is a huge pool company. They left our pool in disarray and did not come when schedule and also stated they did. I would support small business and not use them. Service: Swimming pool equipment maintenance

I was driving down Tatum Blvd on my way home and had an encounter with a man driving an X Pools truck. This guy (Older white man with white facial hair) literally leans out the window and screams f*** you to me and makes a right onto E Mockingbird Lane presumably to service someone's pool. I have no idea why this guy was upset, I was in the same lane since I crossed over Lincoln and was going 45 in a 40 and there were cars in front of me so I couldn't go any faster and he was in a different lane. Again I have no idea, but he had X pools plastered all over the vehicle and he represents your company. Just beware before you invite them into your home.

Really nice staff and always very responsive. They helped us learn about our pool when we moved to the area and have helped when any problem arises

Moved into new place - small pool. Place we moved from had a gi-normous pool serviced weekly. Was somewhat aware of pool maintenance but needed a refresher course. Mike, who answered the phone called it "Pool School". Evan was the service person who came by this morning - at the exact time the appointment was set. Evan was personable, explained all filter and leveler components, supplies needed and recommended maintenance. Evan was very personable - would highly recommend X Pools.

I called with a pool related question that wouldn't generate any new business for X pools but they were very gracious and helpful getting me the information I need. Thank you!

Their services were undeniably good. Last summer we went out for a vacation in Hawaii. I think we've been there for almost 2 weeks. After that we went home and we're surprised to what we saw in our pool. Our pool was so dirty and the tiles were stained. There were a lot of green little thing. We called Xpools to help us to clean our pool. They really did well. Now our pool is clean as it is.

When we started off with this company it was great service and fast! But the past year and a half, every time we have had a repair or a clean of filter, two days later the pool is acting up. So we have to pay again to have them come out and fix it. I'm ok doing that a few times, I give people the benefit of the doubt, but after a while I'm over it!

Last time I called and explain this is not ok I was told I should find myself a new pool company to care for my pool. I guess they have more customers than they need?! We have found a new company and the pool is now actually working after it's been cleaned. It's a shame, we used X Pools for over 5 years, but I guess expecting things to work after repair is something that we shouldn't expect and we got dumped as customers, ha!

We hired XPools to take care of our pool for a few months when we first bought our home. They took great care of us. We figured we would take over the responsibility once we were settled. XPools and Mike (our pool guy) did such a great job that 5 years later. We are still customers. The only complaint we have is that Mike was promoted in the company and no longer does our pool :) New guy has been great too though.

Michael Dennis and his team have always been extremely helpful and professionl when I have pool problems I can't solve myself. I can always count on X-Pools to go the extra mile to get things done!

** UPDATE 06-05-08 *** I get detailed bills emailed in PDF that lets me archive what work was done when. It goes into my gmail so its one component of my house set on cruise control ** Update 1-31-07** Still sparkles. I wanted to come back to a bad pool so I could Yelp poke them in the eye. no such luck. Pool was crystal clean ** Update 11-25-07** still very clean and very professional I have had turnover but management stays on top of it ** Update ** xPools is everything that AZ should be a) professional.

Not just flakey b) tech savvy. We're not talking complete CRM adoption but how about a working website and email c) phone-a-riffic. People like to talk to people that answer the phone. d) prosperous. Maybe in the future, someone like Michael or Roger would Blockbuster-ize the pool service industry. Maybe in the FAR future, when the chlorine level drops cuz my dog went for a swim, my pool filter would fire off an SMS (that's a text message for you people over 30) to me and the pool guy to add chemical.

But in the present, X-Pools does a great job. *** Update OVER *** So I just fired my pool guy. Ken (Mr Green Pool) at 623 640 1900, abandoned my pool. He operated under the legal name "Kleanwise". He was as good at pool management as he was at spelling. Then I called Coral Pool for a month with no returns of calls at 480-831-7932. Kim, Ava, and David run a shoddy operation Then I called about a dozen pool companies during my work day. They should charge more for the extra services they provide. Kudos to you for using ad-words to land me as a customer and for adopting email/sms to communicate with me on pool related issues.
